What do you call yourself?
Kryterium0? Or Luke if you like.

How'd you find Star Army?
I don't know. I searched the internet for pictures of spacecraft and somehow got here....

What interested you in joining?
Space ships! For that I love military science fiction.

Ever done this text-based roleplaying thing before?
Yep.

Any previous experiences you want to share?
Once, my team overthrew the Emperor and conquered the Galaxy from Star Wars. Once upon a time I watched all the anime about space war. I have gone through the trilogy of Mass Effect three times.

Now for the questionnaire!

Do you prefer:
  • Playing male, female, or other-gendered characters?
    Male
  • Spontaneous or planned RP?
    Both?
  • Military or civilian characters?
    Military.
  • Humans, androids, anthros, or aliens?
Mostly people, but I do not like defining.
  • Being on a starship or being on a planet?
Starship. Not necessarily as a sailor.
  • Roleplay via forum posts or in real-time?
I prefer the forum. English is not my strength.
On a scale of 1 to 3, what's your preferred level of these in your RP:
  • Language: 3
  • Violence: 3
  • Sexuality: 3
What's something cool you'd love to RP?
I always wanted to be like Han Solo. Own ship and faithful crew, life beyond the law and adventure.
Another option is Commander Shepard. Maybe not exactly that, but a soldier on a mission, not necessarily a hero, is something I always liked.
Actually, it does not matter what it would be, only to have a small, fast ship and freedom.

Welcome to the site Luke! I think there might be a few plots that fit your statements of "life beyond the law and adventure" and "a soldier on a mission, not necessarily a hero"

Interregnum: Tagging @Acewing13 as the GM. From what I know of the Interregnum, it is a ship of Nepleslian special forces deserters. I think they fit the anti-hero mold that it seems like you're looking for. I'm also recommending it since you have 3-3-3 as your preferred RPG ratings. Let's just say that Interregnum is considered to be the "heaviest" plot on the site, and leave it at that.

The Crimson Corsairs: Tagging @CadetNewb as the GM. This is also an anti-hero plot. However, it has a focus on pirates and deserters. I don't know a lot about this one. So ask the GM if you're interested.

There are also a ton of Yamatai plotships that are open for new members. However, if you want to captain your own ship and have actual PCs under your command, then you need to propose a plotship to Wes. Once you do this, you will be considered to be a GM and will have to fulfill all the responsibilities associated with the role. If command is your ultimate goal, then I would recommend creating an officer candidate character, applying for one of the plotships, and reading more into the wiki so that you will have enough knowledge to run your own plot ship one day!

Other than that, welcome to the site!

Welcome to the site!

And I appreciate the mention Immortal; the plot's about a bunch of ex-marines who didn't quite reintegrate into civvie life, and became pirates, only to get sucked up into a grand scheme about the fate of nations. :3
