Considering the previous pace of this plot, the current speed leaves me going 0.0.

I guess I'll have to step it up from now on. ;)

Silic said:
“KAMI, can you get the network to dump any packets from that terminal?”

*cough*Sorry, went a bit on automatic there.

Basically packet dumping is used by RL switches and routers as a way of disregarding information, in short the machine will not read, process or act on any instruction or data from that terminal. However this is based on RL networks built of many machines, a SARP ship seems to only be one computer, I'm not sure if the computer is capable of packet dumping without having to cut ALL access to particular systems. :-/

It's a complicated thing, but lets not get too fluffed up about it, I'll go with whatever makes this RP more fun for everyone.

KAMI computers are AIs. They can ignore whatever input they please.

My idle musings have called down the almighty himself!! D:

Whatever input they please.
Skynet...
It's only a matter of time.

And maybe we're really just Batteries for Skynet, and Wes is part of a resistance group fighting it. o_O

I choose the red pill!

Sorry, short post. Just couldn't think how to break out, so I hit the panic! button.

Jimmy, you have your own repair teams. No touchy the dudes in combat armor. They're busy enough already.

Actually the repair teams are completely separate from your security teams.

I'll touch yo power ar-oh...

Nash beat me to it. :(

Yeah, I doubt security would follow such orders anyway, considering they know who their commander is, and Silic's quiet hand approach is obviously not their commanders more vocal style.

Hey folks, Starting tomorrow morning (Tuesday), I will be on the road heading north to Cape Cod to spend the holiday with my biological family. While the Beach House is rather nice according to my mother, it is completely lacking any form of Internet access. I will be back home this coming Sunday.

Yes! Time to catch up on posties for Silic. :D

Have fun Nash, don't do anything I wouldn't! ;)

First day of the trip complete, arrived in Stamford CT a little after 10pm. Last access to the internet, tomorrow we arrive at the Beach house.

Hey Nash, I've managed to catch up on the current posts and put a gameplan together for that autoloader, however I thought of it on the seat of my pants and want to run it through you when you get back. Meet me on IRC or PM when you get back, for now Silic will just fret a little bit, cheers. Look forward to seeing you back.

Just got back, go ahead and PM me with the idea, I may or may not be on IRC tonight.
Nashoba.

Well, that went well, he didn't call me an idiot like any sane person would've, but we've still got to hammer out a few details, hopefully by tomorrow. Lets get this ball rolling again. ;)

Sorry about the slow posties, but the past week has been a rush of research, trying to gauge whether Wes will smack me for whats about to happen, and trying to figure out how the hell we're going to move my friend out of the house and into an apartment on the other side of the city. If all goes well, I should be able to post much faster now, as the "weapon of choice" has pretty much been selected. You know what I mean Nash. *wink wink*

Well, I thought I was showing you guys something special, but Wes informs me that the forklift mentioned in the other thread is actually a mid-sized forklift (I'd hate to see the bigger ones :?), and is actually quite common in the U.S military, and probably other militaries around the world. The description is actually based on 10K-AT shown here on the far right, still roughly resembles a forklift, even if it is somewhat butch compared to yout usual pallet mover.

Oh, and credit where it's due, have to thank Brian (Nash) for the idea of skimming the roof off, it show's an understanding of my subtle torture of Silic and I'm glad he's GM, even if it's only to "eventually" wrap up this plot. So thank you Nashoba, we'd (or at least me) would be lost without you, and for putting up with my recent pestering, and for my (and Silic's) antics...and for me calling you out late at night on IRC...and,yeah.

Jimmy, I really have NO idea what you're doing or how to even respond....

Edit: Nevermind. It's been cleared up!

FYI, Shockwaves in space consist of energy, normally in the form of charged particles and debris. :)
