RP Concluded [OOC] Genei Discussion

Nobutora's unstable, not crazy. Well not yet anyways. Lol. Really though blowing faces off is still well within the realm of possible outcomes. He has a combination of very cold anger, more than a little sociopathy, and extreme loyalty to the YSE. He's angry enough to do it, but hasn't decided if it's in the best interests of Yamatai.

1) Open a Google Calendar account.
2) Register your cellphone on your Google Calendar settings
3) Put JPs on Calendar. Set notify to SMS, 15 minutes or so in advance

Now, you will get a text message reminder 15 minutes before your JP.

Okay Spartan, Teddo, we're going to go on ahead with your part plot via SP but we'll plan a JP. I don't have a lot of time at the moment so I'll post the JP we've done already up here around 3 this afternoon.

Huge apologies, I haven't been around all week, I've been doing a day camp that leaves me blasted by the time I get home. It will run for 2 more weeks, and immediately after it ends, I'm being dragged on a terrible vacation to Las Vegas for another 2 weeks. I'm uncertain what my internet access will be like. I'm getting an iphone next week, so perhaps that will keep me connected.

In light of Mizunoyoroko's decision to leave the SARP. See Its been fun....

We need to decide what we want to do about the Genei Plot.

Possible Suggestions:
1 - Retire the plot and all the characters can try to find other plots.
2 - Reboot the plot, basically wrap up the current thread, and start a new mission. Obviously with a new commander.
3 - Start an entirely new SAINT plot.[/list]

If enough people want to go with options 2 & 3, I would be willing to run the plot if folks want. Or if another GM wants to come in that would be an option as well. We have an interesting group of characters I would hate to see the plot die.

Thoughts? Comments?
 
Normally in this circumstance, the ranking officer takes command, but every character left in the plot is the same rank (santo hei). So...let me ask. Do any of you want to be the Genei's new game master, at least for wrapping up this mission?
 
Finishing the mission may be a bit tricky, but I have had several discussions with Yoroko regarding the plot, and what he was thinking about for the next mission. Hence why I was offering if no one else wanted to step up to run it, after making a new commander. Yoroko asked me to take care of the players on the Genei. So I am giving them a chance to decide for themselves.
 
If no one objects, I'd be interested in GMing the plot. I've been working on creating my own plot (It's admittedly farfetched, but an opportunity for some really exceptional roleplay!), but to be honest Genei's really interesting themes are what inspired me. It would be great if I could run this, with some guidance from Nashoba.
 
I object! (epic phoenix wright pose) So...I definetly made a mistake and definetely left you guys out to dry, I apologize. I've decided to come back, and decided to kick this plot into high gear if you're all still interested in playing with me (not meant in a dirty way). In the past we used to do a JP to occasionally kick the plot along, but lately (mostly due to me) the plot has slowed to a stagnant crawl. I'd like to switch the plot to primarily JP with a little bit of SP along the side if folks want to.

Here's the catch, we've done JPs that have gone from 8PM to 11PM or 12AM before we'd be done. No more. We'll agree and set a start time AND an ending time. This way folks won't be up too late at night, but also so that people feel like we're on a time limit.

So, here's what I want from you guys.

1. Would you be okay with a JP plot?

2. What days of the week and times are good for you?

3. How long do you want to play for?

My availability for these are as follows:

M: 8PM - 12AM
T: 10PM - 12AM
W: 8PM - 12AM
R: 8PM - 12AM* I have another JP that night as well but am fine multitasking
F: 8PM - 12AM
S: All day
S: After 2PM

All times are EST and dependent on me not getting this job I just interviewed for. Ironically I want the job, so we'll see.

Okay, from what I've seen here's the tentative stuff:

Monday September 7th @ 8PM - 10PM EST

7PM - 9PM CST
5PM - 7PM PST

Again, time conversions are pretty bad so if someone sees a mistake let me know. Like the Zenpyou, we'll be doing primarily JP with SP backup. This means that you can post SP posts in between JPs.
