OOC [OOC] Taking it Back Discussion

Please make Ally an NPC until I get some more time to devote to SARP. As it is, with college and everything, I am going to be cutting down the plots I'm in - and I haven't posted in this one in quite some time.

So it's only fair to you that I officially go into hiatus/NPC mode.

Thanks for understanding. ^^; Sorry.

Alright, I'm initiating culling protocols again. I will be posting tonight. After that, there will be a seventy-two hour window to have your character attend the briefing. Failing to do so will result in your character being reduced to background status.

Also, due to the various set pieces for this plot being sucked out from under me slowly over time, and my own desire to move on to better things, this will be the second to last chapter before this plot is ended and I start a new plot with these characters using my own set pieces.

I'm so sorry that things have been disjointed and slow lately, so let's fix that and have some fun-- try to go out with a bang, wot. (As Archival would say)

Okay, here's how it is.

Some of you know this, others don't. The purpose of this plot has been made to disappear. For all intents and purposes, this plot is obsolete. In fact, Moonman has even suggested in the GM forum that the setting for this plot (Funky City) have things done to it.

As everything on Nepleslia Core has just magically peaced up and fixed itself without our intervention, I've just been feeling very hard-pressed to post. Mainly, I'm struggling to figure out how to write this to a quick close, or how to not step on the toes of whatever magic occured without me.

This is frustrating.

Now, There are probably three good options here.

Option Numbah 1) Close the plot, move on to other projects.

I could close this sucker up so quick! Your characters wouldn't even know they was inactive! Shit!

I've shared with some of you my ideas for a new Nepleslian plot that would be episodic and completely independent of the meta-plot. I would begin work on this plot immediately if I were to close this one now.

This is the easiest way to fix the issue.

Option Numbah 2) Keep on truckin'

I could always slowly and halfheartedly write the entire rest of the plot and just throw in a lackluster ending that doesn't solve anything since the problem solves itself and other stuff happens anyway. We can do this if you guys are really in love with your characters but not in love with the idea of a new plot. I don't recommend it, though, but am willing to do it to please my players.

This is the dumbest way to fix the issue.

Option Numbah 3) This shall be our final mission.

This one is interesting and unique! I could, maybe, use all of my skills to somehow make this chapter super-exciting and throw in huge surprises and end the entire plot all on this one island mission.

Everybody will get thrown into this massive super-drama meat grinder and it will be super scary and maybe we all almost die and then the bad guys main dude shows up and we just kind of fucking kill him right there and then-- Bam! Plot over, move on to new plot that has no relation to meta-plot.

This is the quickest way to fix the issue.

Now, of these options, which appeals to you the best, players?

The plot will be archived by Wes in five days if nothing is done. You have four days to respond to this, and on the fifth day I will post in character effecting whatever end you have selected. And if nobody responds, I'll just do nothing.

That is all.

I personally like the sound of number 3, but I would be okay with number 1 as well. As long as the RP lives on I am happy.

Hey Lamb, I am going to toss in for 1 or 3

If the case of 1 comes up, I would like some rough note posted by you in terms of what stopped the valiant crew so we can all put our own summaries and continue our characters wherever they may land .
As we discussed I obviously have a interest in your new plot , and would like to go over more details with you in regards to it.

3 is pretty straight forward, have absolutely no problems pressing on into super drama. I can pretty much post on command to help speed this process up

I'm leaning towards No 1 judging from the post level we currently have, maybe with a nice epilogue about stuff well done or something and then moving on.

I'd be happy for No3, but I think we'll just keep hanging if we try to push on, sorry.

It's a shame it's come to this, but maybe our next project can fit our style some more.

Pretty much like everyone else, I'd be okay with both number 1 or 3. No need to force things if you know if it's not going to work.

However, I still have the same point of view as Deathevn about what happened to the crew.

Feel free to post in the epilogue thread what your characters have gone and did.
