OOC Thread for Horizon's Key

OOC thread: HORIZON'S KEY TIMELINE

Even I'm getting a little unsure of what happened when, so I'm going to write up a timeline for the Key and post it as an edit here. I'm not sure how it relates to the ongoing universal timeline, so I'm not even going to try, so this is only applicable within this plotship forum.


Timeline listing by mission.

Mission 01 - Prologue
xx - Purchase of the Key.

xx - Arrival at Pisces Station.

+/- 30 minutes after arriving at Pisces - Hiring of Eliot, Nicholai, and Kassiopea.

Six hours after arriving at Pisces - Departure.

Chapter One
8.5 hours after leaving Pisces - Arrival at the Imhotep.

+/- 1 hrs after arriving at Imhotep - Departure for New Kohana.

Evening - Arrival at landing zone.

Morning, Day 1 - Departure for Anetheronn.

Afternoon, Day 1 - Echo discovered.

Mid-morning (aprox. 9:30 am), Day 2 - Anetheronn sighted. Eliot and Eclipse leave for the city, the main group heads for space elevator.

Noontime (+/- 11:30 am), Day 2 - Eliot and Eclipse arrive in Anetheronn. Arrangements finished by noon or 12:10, Eliot heads back.

Noontime (~ 12:15, 12:20 pm), Day 2 - Echo and Winter intercept Eliot.

Noontime (+/- 12:30 pm), Day 2 - Gem leaves for Colosseum with Sliver and Nicholai.

WHEW. Long post.

I made some mistakes with the timeline thread I put up earlier, those are fixed now. Cipher, PLEASE take more care in noting when things are happening. That was a two or three-hour trip into the city from where the group was (It's around nine or ten am and "Sliver says we can be there by noon") and they were originally intending to head to the Colosseum while Eliot and Eclipse were looking for rooms.

I have modified the first part of that plan now. The others are still going to the Colosseum, and Winter has a note to Eliot from Sliver explaining this and where to meet up. Just play out the language barrier and acting confused about where Gem and the others are and Winter'll remember to hand over the note. Lead W & Echo to the inn, then head over to the Colosseum to meet with Gem. This doesn't all have to happen in your next post, it can take as many posts as it needs to, I'll try to keep pace (daily or whatever).

Okay, hopefully with that this'll be back on track.
 
New news. If you didn't know, Cipher now has IRC capabilities, which mean we can now do proper full-roster JPs! I would like the first post in the new chapter to be one of these, so I'd like everyone (including you new people who have been very, very patient waiting to join in) to post days and times you will likely be available, preferably for a good six-hour period to allow for set-up and such.

Since my schedule shifts weekly (literally), I'll just try to find a match with what everyone else puts up.
 
Pretty clear schedule here: just got home, and I haven't told my employer I'm in town yet (I don't much need the cash right now, and they don't really need me). So, just give me a time and I can probably be there. Evenings are best.
 
I'm on EST. As for when I'm available after 6:00 PM EST is usually best for me. Also I was planning on participating in Wes' Freedom Down plot which is on Tuesday so far, so if that's the day please understand that my attention will be divided. Also Fridays I just can't do, don't even ask.
 
CST here. Schedule is getting a bit more... convoluted as we near the 24th: first day back at college. Just keep me updated, and I'm sure I can work it in.
 
Got some input from Yoroko over IRC, so I think that's everyone...

It look like JPs will be once-a-week on Sundays...would 5:50PST/7:50EST work for everyone? I would like to limit the time spent to one hour of actual JP, with the first ten minutes for set-up (and to give late-comers some leeway).

Also, for Cipher and Yoroko: Eliot being drunk before meeting with a crime lord is not very...well, useful, I guess. So, with Yoroko's minor SP schedule problem, I'm going to have Sliver go in with Gem while Eliot stays in the lobby with Nicholai. The Meeting will take place, then the First JP will cover the start of the fight set.
 
I'm everpresent, so you know I'll be around. I'll make a conscious effort to be on the IRC for most of the day (I'm not going camping this weekend, woohoo!).
 
Okay, sorry for the confusion.

Meeting was for 5:50pm PST, yes, but I miscalculated eastern time and put 7:50 when it should have been 8:50pm eastern.

Since only Wanderer showed, we did some idea-tossing.

Cipher, sorry, I didn't realize that it'd leave you with only ten minutes to be involved. I'll talk with you later and maybe move the time up more.
 
In all likelihood, I WILL make the next JP, but I'm moving into my dorm that day so there is some chance that I won't be available. Just thought I'd give the heads-up.
