Lolion is staying with his current commander where ever he goes... i figured since ill find out on the tail end of this week or next week where the national guard will finally let me in at which point ill know a date i need someone to npc me. Either that or we need a battle so i can die a horrific yet honorable death...hehe... yeah im evil like that. (though i kinda prefer the npc part as id still like to play once i get back and not have to create a character again..lol)

Although some guys left for the UOC, the 5th still exists and will be rebuilt with what's left and go back into active service under Katsuko's command.

EX-STAR ARMY DUDES

If your character just moved to the UOC, he/she needs to send his Star Army stuff back to the Star Army (don't be a thief lol).

To make this simple, you can cut (CTRL-X) stuff from your character page and then paste it (CTRL-V) into this page: Returned Gear. I'll sort it all out later.

Don't accidentally send back your 10 mm Type 28 NSP if you got one. Those were given away to the soldiers, and are our possessions.
 
Well before I read what you said Wes i kinda already deleted what Lolion had Star army was. It was all basic starting gear anyway and the rest was bought by Lolion by him. So i posted saying standard gear was returned... I'm not try to steal anything either. Lolions not like that.

An a completely different note I FOUND A PLANET THE FITS THE DESCRIPTION I HAD IN LOLION'S HISTORY!!!! i can finally start writing a back story for my character for all to enjoy.
 
That's why we keep our articles on a wiki -- you can go back and see previous versions. It would be easy to pull the inventory from an old revision.
 
Just to let you guys know- I moved the Asuka's wiki to the United Outer Colonies folder, so you'll need to fix your links and such appropriately. =)
 
Uh... Lolion has been to the capital world of a nation (the Astral Commonwealth) that hasn't seen or heard anything from another civilization in several hundred years? And is populated by a (horned, plated, riddled with interface holes) race that has not officially been encountered by any of the factions.

I'm flattered that you chose my system... but it's very impossible that he would have come from that world.
 
DAMN... that planet was PERFECT!!!... and now you had to go and throw in that wrench... ahh well im sure ill figure something out for him eventually. Either way that was the exact type of planet i was looking for to build my background on... DAMN that still stings...lmao.

Ahh hell ill fix everything later with my wiki... in the mean time the search is still on..lol.
 
Alright, I would like to update the Asuka's wiki page, especially the crew part, which still says everyone's in the Star Army, but I need to know which crew members returned to Yamatai with the Asuka when the UOC returned the Yamataian property.

People who defected to the UOCPF should remove their character/player information from the crew roster and paste it down in the "former crew" section.

People staying with the Asuka, please let me know who you are, so I can make you part of the new, updated crew. Once we fill in the holes left by the UOC people, the Asuka will resume missions.
 
Depending on who all stays and goes, we might be better off renaming the Asuka to a UOC plot and editing the wiki into such, should most of the players defect. Opinions?

If there are people who have not declared either way, please speak now.
 
I think a lot of the crew are attached to Yaichiro, who hasn't yet made up his mind. I'm hoping he'll either stay with the Asuka or take the ship designer job Yui's offering him, but the UOC dudes are blinded to the benefits of the tech exchange (teleportation units, future KFY tech, etc) due to hate and mistrust and it looks like they won't approve him working for KFY at the same time as MFY, despite Yui saying it'd be okay for him to work for both at KFY.

I've been working hard on improving Yamatai and I'm hoping Yaichiro will see that and be inspired. Since Himiko got the throne, Yamatai has already done a lot to improve itself, like disallowing slavery, torture, and murder of civilians, and starting a civilian-oriented policy instead of a military one. I realize that the UOC's ship design field is wide-open but remember Yamatai's is still open too. We need a new main escort ship design, a new battleship, and many other designs to replace the oodles of old ships now being disposed of.

Remember this is your decision as a player, not Andrews or mine or your players.
 
As players, you are free to make whichever choice you wish. Your game play will not change that much, just the location and a little bit of your mission profile. I fully expect ICly for the characters to choose whichever it is that is best for them, and their families. If you'd rather not be in the UOC, we're not going to force any of you to stay, but we would love for you to stay.

I know it's a big thing to make a faction loyalty choice for your character and I feel that whichever choice you make is the best for you and your character. Even I didn't have all of my characters switch factions so I'm not anti-any faction as it might seem with my IC posts as Ayana. =)

To all those that already chose to stay, <3 thank you for your support! We've got a lot of stuff in the works, so hopefully, we can get most of the basics up soon!
 
Note that those in the YSE and the UOC will be taken care of. Should Yaichiro wind up returning to Yamatai, Minako (The CO sprite) will be a possible commander.

Don't feel obligated to follow Yaichiro either way.
