Okay folks,
When I created the standard issue for the Wotanu Abokatinka Poku, my thoughts were based mainly on shipboard and World Station environments. While World Station does have rain in the City States, its not quite the same as on a planet.

To that end I wanted to get your opinion of which of these two garments should be the standard for WAP personnel.

Jendogo - (cloak) A jendogo is worn during heavy rains. They can be manufactured from natural or artificial waterproof substances. It is worn over regular clothing, and has a built in hood. Most common ones have a fastener or a series of buttons to hold them closed. A properly fitted cloak should stop just above the feet.

Example of a Jendogo

Wotamu - (coat) A coat is long so as to cover most of the body, and resembles a duster. Usually have a built-in hood. The coat typically stops about midway through foot gear such as boots.

Example of a Watmu

I will be commissioning some art to give a representation of each regardless.

Polling is open for Seven days. You can choose up to for.

This poll is open to anyone, but in the case of a tie, members of the Yome's votes will break the tie.

Cloaks w/ hood : dual usage 1) blanket incase of being stranded. 2) easier to conceal worn stuff and easy to move out of the way incase of a sudden brawl. :) \o/ for the win :)

Cloak, but not beacuse it is better then a coat, trust me on this, I've spent a large number of ice cold nights in one. But i think it'll set the wap diffrent from the rest of sarp.

The Watmu example picture doesn't load for me. But I am more a fan of cloaks than coats in general, and since most of the clothes(at least in my mind) seem kind of loose fitting I think a cloak would look better. The option would want though isn't really there, I'd like the hood to be visible but not up.

Thanks for casting you votes folks. And yoshi it depends on the cloak. I have a 100% wool Traveler's Cloak, and I have work it on cold days and nights, in fact I bought it at a convention when the temps in Atlanta dropped into the 30's and was toasty.

Oh they are warm, won't argue that part, but to qwickly get out of the way in a brawl? No. They will hang where they decide to hang.

Okay folks, thanks for your posting. The
Jendogo - will be the official outerwear for the WAP when in uniform. Will see about commissioning art, there will be two issued to each, but I'm going to get artwork for the Dress version.
