Good. I was gonna say, if they're at noon PST, that'd be 3 PM where I live... not very convenient for me. 8 is great, though.

I'll start putting together a character submission once some more info on the ship is available. I'm thinking either a mechanic or a caretaker type, mostly because it would justify the character not always being present if I end up missing a lot of JPs.
 
Missing... Join this one for now, I would suggest. In general there aren't player numbers, let alone for two ships like this.

We don't need a Rival ship for now.



Annnnd I plan on getting this ship made up soon. It'll be a tech submission, though. But unlike the many-functions-required Wyrm, the Firefly-esque one will be easy.

Although I deck diagrams will be a pain. Oh well.

For the Freespacer... Imma have to ask, just in personal preference, that you add more to it in the sections and stuff. Just for personal preference. :p


As soon as the Wyrm is done (Which WILL be soon, only have weapons to go really) I will work on the ship-who's-name-remains-to-be-seen.

The very latest the ship might start is December 10th, I think.
 
This DOES look pretty interesting...I'm still working on a character yet, I'm fairly new and the mechanics of this website are abit confusing...but once my char is up and running...would your ship need a navigator, perhaps?
 
Once the Zoya as a ship is approved (*Que GLARE OF HATRED TO SLOW PEOPLE IN TECH! <.< ) Then I will toss up in the forum for it post of positions.

But the navigator would probably just be the AI and the pilot... Both of which I wouldn't suggest to terribly much to a newbie, no 'fence.

Are you saying newbie as in "new to this particular site" or newbie as in new to role-playing. Because I have almost 12 years of role-play experience under my belt and I learn quickly. I just have to sit down and go through some stuff and get down the mechanics of how to play THIS particular game.

I consider you over 18, so I expect some experience from RP from ya (As adults are n00bs at trying new things that aren't sexual positions a lot.)

Plus, no 'fence, there is the bit of 'Not trusting one to not just quit the site'. Happened to much over in the Asamoya to not think about it, sorries. :p
 
Actually, my first character was a starship pilot, and in my opinion it's the easiest new-person-job...in battles you maneuver, and it's *punch buttons, go to destination* the rest of the time...it's not like you're actually driving, so you don't need to know the universe, and there's not much to know beyond how to operate the console/piloting mechanism. If by chance he (or she?) does drop out of RPing here, almost anyone can take over.

Assuming you have a crew, that is.

Speakin' of which, what positions are people currently making characters for? I was talking to Gamer about it the other night and it sounded like a lot of people had staked claims, but my house kinda lost power halfway through the conversation.

Yeah, Kassiopea is be a techie, and able to fill multiple roles.
 
Good. The character I have in mind is pretty much stuck with pilot or technician; I was afraid there'd be like 3 people wanting one of those.
