The past few days had been a blurry mess for Anastasia. To start with, the most recent thing she solidly remembers was hitting a tree while landing in Komorebi. She assumes she made it to the ground, and someone found her, because the next thing she remembers was waking up in a tube somewhere in Diachi. The Libra Station.

It wasn't until the next day that the people on the station allowed her to be transported closer to home, and then she was on an identical medical bed in the Gemini Station orbiting Hanako's World. And now, it wasn't until today that she could leave that bed. She was on medical leave for the next few days, up to a week, and she wasn't entirely sure how she felt.

Mostly because of this damn pain medication.

Anastasia still felt incredibly out of tune with the world, not yet leaving the cozy hotel room she had been assigned in the meantime. She hadn't been reading the news, she hadn't been asking too many questions. She had been told that the crew of the YSS Kaiyo were on vacation, and she was responsible for how they received the news. She had already had a few personal visitations earlier that day, but she had the doctors send notice to the crew now that she was feeling somewhat accustomed to reality.

And so, the weary technician walked out of their solitary room and headed for the commons area, wearing a casual outfit of loose-ankle sweatpants and a white T-shirt. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect.

For those maybe confused, this is a SP thread for those who wanted to go visit Ana after news got out that she's alive. While this could have been done in a JP, I am terrible at bouncing around pads and I know some people have mobile issues with them (especially in larger numbers). Go ahead and post how you'd like. If people would rather JP, that can be arranged!

Anastasia, when she dared to enter the common room, could already see the signs, from the hallway even, that a particular friend was present at least. Excited, high pitched noises poured out of it. "Ohhh Can't wait- my friend is coming out soon! I can't believe that w-we left her behind i..." She was practically hyper ventilating from the sound of it. Perhaps she never quite got over the news that she was alive, never quite believed it. She had wondered so many things- why she was listed as MIA when they couldn't find her, why ST backups weren't activated... But this! Maybe Hoshi knew all along that Ana couldn't have possibly died! Kokoro only wished that she had the faith their captain had...

"Ah-er do I look okay? I had trouble sleeping o the way over here, I was just so excited!" Standing on her tip toes, she faced away from the entrance, talking to a very unfortunate minkan who had been very possibly talked at for the better half of an hour, with the intensity never waivering.

Anastasia Barlow... Walter Hyde had heard quite a bit about her, and her feats as this crew's first, and practically only, technician and engineer. Of course, this is by going through all the information that can be made available to a mere foot soldier, as well as carefully listening. The Elysian was nothing short of impressive, despite her hardships.

He, unlike most of the visitors, has no connection to Anastasia. The Minkan was no friend, no lover, no rival, and no foe. The only noteworthy moment was him losing his composure on his first mission.

Needless to say, he felt ashamed of that moment since then, but he didn't come to apologise for old news.

Walter stood behind Arbitrated, casually, softly smiling as a witness to the triumph of a true survivor, worthy of her own story.

Mikodimus had gotten the news that one believed to be MIA had been found. As Miko walked into the room it did not take him long to spot Anastasia. While they had no formal bond or real connection Miko had made a point after the mission to meet everyone on this ship. He also felt guilty having left behind one of his own team mates. He walked up to her, wearing a normal standard issue Star Army uniform. As he got closer he noticed she was already being hugged by a small girl. It only took him a moment to recall that this was an Arb.

"Hot damn, they said you was still alive and by gosh here you are." Miko said walking up to her. "Had to check with my own eyes to see that you was doing well." He finished talked as he stopped a few feet away from her.

Commons

Anastasia heard the distant Yoshida from the hall, before bringing herself around into the commons room. She was a little disoriented from moving around, but quickly spotted the others in the room, as well as the high-pitched squealing echoing around. It was too late before Anastasia noticed the pink wave crashing very lightly on her.

The disoriented Elysian stumbled back just a little bit, before patting the much smaller friend hugging her. It took a moment for her to form the words. "Heyyy, Arbs..." Anastasia almost looked a little bit older herself. Her hair had grown out and been cut back slightly by the doctors, the blue streak in her hair fading to black where it had not been maintained in weeks. "It's okay..." She looked up at the rest of the room as more people came up to greet her. Some were more familiar than others, but all of them were fellow crew members. She gave a dumb smile, looking at Miko and Walter. She was clearly a little under the influence of medication. "Thank you."

Anastasia took a second to process all that was going on around her, speaking again. "Don't be upset Arbs, I thought there for a minute I was dead too." The technician noticed how different Arbitrated looked in the weeks she had been absent, and looked up to see Yoshida being Yoshida. She smiled, at least some things never change.
