Dawn Station
Business Office Complex

Judging by how her feline ears were flicked back, the Neko tidying up and quickly making her way downstairs was not a happy one. Plus, when considering how her green hair was done up in a tight bun, she had a particularly stern look. Especially with the glasses she wore.

"So old fashioned, why meet in person? Especially if they're small fry?" Yuno muttered to herself. Dawn Station itself was a massive monstrosity of capitalism that favored international space to stay outside the petty squabbling of nations as it sold them all goods and weapons, but despite this? It made itself look good. The ultra modern design of the office complex was sleek and simple, yet not overly so, and radiated a sense of confidence and professionalism while not being unsettling. However, when she made her way to the lobby, the person the Business Neko found was - it best to cut that thought short. "Hello. My name is Fumihiko Yuno, though you may refer to me as 'Miss Fumihiko' or just Fumihiko," the Neko clarified.

A slender hand reached up to adjust her glasses, an almost sinister white glare briefly blocking her eyes from view.

As her eyes wandered over the simple yet futuristic design of the company halls, Nomine wondered what it would be like to one day have a station like this of her own to prance about in. A venture the young woman hoped to achieve with this meeting. Mr. Romanov had entrusted her to secure them a proper line of connection with the monster that was the Star Empire of Yamatai; Origin Industries being their way in. A slender hand came up to brush away a few strands of hair that had fallen out of place, tucking them back behind an ear. It was done up in a simple pony-tail, curly near the ends, black with dashes of white splashed in to accentuate her fair skin.

She was dressed as any other business woman, a simple white blouse, a black and white striped dress jacket to go over that coupled with a pencil skirt, stockings and heels. Your typical, every day business girl.

Nomine turned to regard the voice, her face already smiling as she met the representative of Origin Industries at last. She gave her a low bow, hands clasped together and pressed against her stomach as she did so, before raising it.

"Hello Miss Fumihiko, my name is Asakura Nomine. I thank you for meeting me in person on such short notice and apologize if I've pulled you away from more important matters." Giving the Neko a once over, ever so briefly, she nodded. "If time is short, shall we get right down to the business at hand and approach the topic I came here to discuss with you?"

"Of course. If you'll follow me," Yuno replied, turning on her heels and leading the way without a backwards glance. As they ascended an elevator together, its construction likening to transparent glass and with a view of the outside despite being all volumetric, the two had a clear view of this section of the station. Vast in scope and bustling with activity despite being nearly pristine, it was clear that Origin Industries did not cut corners. Especially if one bothered to look at a nearby cafe - not even with the burgers it seemed. Neither Yamataian or Nepleslian, the place seemed to blend it all together in a melting pot.

"I take it this is your...'Psychopomp' attempting to make more legitimate business ventures?" the Business Neko questioned. Golden, feline slit eyes peered at Asakura, and though they seemed to dig into the depths of her own, they held a disturbing allure. One that was difficult to deny. The Neko's gaze was met with her own, silvery irises staring back, the light pouring in from the outside glinting off their reflective surface as she replied.

"Yes, Miss Fumiko, we are a relatively recent start up and having connections with a well-established corporation such as yours would be a boon to our name." The question was deflected but answered, perhaps not in the way the Neko had wanted. Nomine had to remind herself this was, at least for the moment, enemy territory and would have to do everything in her power to make a lasting first impression. The future of Psychopomp depended on it. "Your proximity to Yamatai would afford us a gateway into their lines, should this meeting of ours come into fruition."

Leading Psychopomp's representative onward, the two past by numerous business meeting rooms, their glass walls turning opaque as occupants entered, and clear as crystal as they departed. It seemed that not one was simply left unused for long.

"Yamatai is fickle," Yuno sternly began, flicking a stray strand of green hair out of her eyes. "And Origin Industries, contrary to what our broad approach to business may imply, has an eye for quality - we won't recommend you at all if you do not meet it," the Business Neko added. Stepping into one of the glass rooms, the walls frosted opaque, just like the others. Needless to say, the room felt chilly with the way the Origin Representative spoke. "Now, what can I do for you today?" Yuno asked her.

Despite this, her eyes were all on the Neko, seductively swaying hips, gracefully curving back and all. It was almost as if that was simply how Yuno was - this wasn't deliberate in the slightest. The details of the company no longer interested her in it's repetitive designs. She'd never met a Neko before, their race was commonplace in Yamatai, but from where Nomine came from, they were as rare as rain and sunlight. She did enjoy the engineered perfection though, and her eyes promptly left the Neko's hips as they entered one of the meeting rooms, going back to business as she stepped into the room. Not a bit bothered by the chill, Nomine nodded.

"Psychopomp and it's CEO Kristen Romanov would like to extend a hand towards Origin Industries, one where both can benefit from a long-lasting relationship that can and will create dividends in the near future." The green haired Business Neko sat in her seat, hands steepled as she peered over them at the young woman. Gears were turning as machinations began to come to life in her mind, and with a brief, cold glint of her glasses, Yuno relaxed in her seat. Immediately, the chilling sense she exuded seemed to lift like a spell. Now? Now she was a cat relaxing in a nice seat, and that sense of sheer Comfy seemed to radiate from her.

"Of course. What is it you're looking for exactly?" Yuno began, her words no longer chilly, but now straddling some odd border between disinterest and curiosity. "Perhaps weapons? Ships and their sub systems? Maybe, simply a place to stay or open a shop?" the Business Neko asked, now not even bothering to brush aside those ever-pesky strands of stray green hair that drifted in front of her eyes. Somehow, they almost beckoned to Nomine to reach forward and do just that for her. All without Yuno even intending to.

If she didn't realize it before, Nekovalkyrja were unnaturally beautiful. This was, on its own, something that was dangerous. Very dangerous. Nomine took the seat closest to her, one where she could face Fumihiko directly, and slid into the comfortable chair with barely a sound. Crossing her legs over the other, she folded her hands and placed them on top of her lap, leaning back slightly as she regarded the beautiful creation.

"We're looking for ships, primarily transports for commerce and shipping. Weapons to supply our future security forces. And, perhaps, if this meeting goes well? An opportunity for us to maintain a presence here at Dawn Station." If Nomine was any other, perhaps the calling would have worked, the passive and unnatural seduction taking place having little to no effect on the genetically engineered woman. She was no Nekovalkyrja herself and could not compare, but the Psychopomp representative had used her many assets and charms to great advantage before. Though those were mostly low-tier objectives that eventually led her to Origin Industries. The two's beauty were, at this point, clashing with the other. "I have no intention of leaving without a conclusion to our dealings, be they for good or ill. Money is no issue but that's not what our company can offer to the already bustling group of people present both within and without this station."

"Of course," the green haired cat replied. With how she said it, Yuno might as well have been filing her nails. "Anyone can set up a bit of a business on our station - our people living here would appreciate it if your offerings to them are quality," she pointed out to her. "But, that aside, what ships are you interested the most by the way?" It was hard to place a finger on, but the feeling that literally oozed from Yuno like a seductive perfume? If Nomine thought about it, it made her want to please this green haired, soft skinned, fair, graceful woman sitting in front of her. Yuno was bored, wasn't she?

Deliberate or not, this sensation constantly pawed at the Psychopomp representative like a cat begging for attention. She didn't seem too phased by the Origin Industries representative, but the subtle little fact was that Nomine now knew why, or at the very least one of the reasons, there was such a large number of them around Yamataian space. They were physically appealing and tempting and, if rumors were to be trusted, extremely deadly both in combat and out.

"For our transport fleet, I would be most interested in your line of freighters. The Mule, Courier, and Caravan classes would appeal to our company's current dealings. We have little need as of yet for any defense fleets but it would not be too much to show an interest in your escorts. The 'Jinkans', I believe they're called, to be used as defense for the merchant fleet itself."

She couldn't help but smile a little more. If she could only feel again, Nomine was certain to have been all over the green-haired Neko in a heart-beat.

"Very well. How many of each would you like to purchase?" Yuno asked. As a single slender finger touched upon her lip, Yuno rested her elbow in the palm of her hand. Gently hugging herself with one arm under her bust, her modest womanhood only grew more enticing despite the unrevealing and professional clothing she wore. The Neko was genuinely treating Nomine as any other person, and nobody special, but by sheer habit. Yet, every single aspect of her somehow ended up drawing the raven haired Psychopomp Representative's attention at one point or another, and without any effort on Yuno's part. "Naturally, if you buy in bulk, you'll receive a small discount."

Fortunately for Nomine, she resisted. Otherwise, who knew what kind of skewed business deal she would have made otherwise?

"Hmm," Nomine seemed to think for a moment, her gaze drifting away from the Neko's features, then returned promptly a few seconds later. "For now, sixteen Mule's, four Courier's and four Caravan's will suffice. As for the Jinkans, a dozen should be sufficient enough to defend those numbers of transports." As she finished listing off the numbers, Nomine unabashedly took in the Neko's sight, wondering what would have happened if she had sent someone else in her stead. He or she most likely would have done something terribly bad and the meeting likely could have ended the moment Fumihiko sat down.

She was grateful now for the opportunity to meet the alluring species of cat-eared folk of Yamatai. The lessons learned here could form the basis of future dealings in Nepleslia and beyond.

"Alright. This will be the sum, with the discount already included - you'll see it to the side already applied however," Yuno pointed out. It really wasn't a bad deal at all, and with it nearly concluded, the woman's cat ears enticingly wiggled for a moment as she slowly reached both arms up into the air. Stretching, even Nomine could sense, feel, the lithe yet curvaceous form under the close fitting white blouse and vest that the Nekovalkyrja wore. The temptation to run her hand down Yuno's sides, down her waist and to her hips, gently tugged at her mind, if only out of curiosity like a person petting a cat who was waking up from a nap. Standing up, the Business Neko brought over a pitcher of cool water and a glass for each of them. "I hope it's to your liking?" she politely asked, golden feline eyes falling on hers.

Perhaps, Yuno's beauty was almost infectious. Insidious even.

Nomine's eyes were more focused on the sum that had been placed before her then the insidiously infectious beauty that was Yuno. Her concerns were, first and foremost, the company, with everything else being secondary. Even an interesting creature like the Nekovalkyrja wouldn't sway her from the commitments made for her. Only at hearing the Neko's voice did she bring her attention back and looked up at the offered glass. Then up at the golden eyes; it was a contrast of silver and gold, each bearing down on the other as Nomine nodded again.

"It is, thank you. I also couldn't help but notice you offered installations? It would be a good place to place our headquarters within. How much would that be?" She asked, eyes never truly leaving the Neko's. Yuno simply nodded politely.

"We offer a variety, and will even build the same class of station as Dawn," the green haired Nekovalkyrja replied. "For the right price," she then smiled with amusement. Regardless of her intent, it was one that looked seductively delicious despite the cool overtones of business. Perhaps that was part of Yuno's appeal? She was, after all, a Business Neko through and through, someone that wasn't interested in such affairs, and couldn't be had for that very reason. "What do you have in mind? Would you like the manufacturing rights? Perhaps have us build it for you at someplace ideal? You could even ask for us to give it once it's finished," Yuno explained, quickly adding, "Assuming it simply isn't waiting for someone already."

Of course. The green haired Nekovalkyrja didn't even need to say it.

"Yes, well, price isn't a factor. A station like the one here would suffice our needs, perhaps even exceed the expectations if I bring the news back." A few strands of hair fell, previously tucked behind her left ear, as Nomine tilted her head and regarded the Neko with a small measure of gentle curiosity. "Forty-five light years to the south-west of Yamatai lies a collection of systems as of yet untouched by colonization efforts. I would like a station built in one particularly. It has no name as of yet so it's registered as System Eighty-Seven C on the star charts."

"Oh?" Yuno began. As the Neko's feline ears perked up, Nomine could have sworn that her tail would have twitched if she had one. It was unmistakable now; she was dealing with a curious cat. The impression couldn't be ignored in the slightest. "I'm starting to wonder, what kind of business venture are you planning out there?" Despite requesting the station, the Business Neko didn't forward to her the price quite yet. Holding onto it for the moment, Yuno wanted to hear just a little bit more about what they were up to. After all, wasn't Psychopomp relatively small? Just what did they want with a station like Dawn?

Nomine's polite little smile remained throughout, though it turned into one of amusement for just a second, returning afterwards as the young woman listened to the Neko's inquiry. She sighed softly, never breaking eye contact, and uncrossed her legs; recrossing them afterwards the other way around.

"From what I could understand, you did not seem very interested in our company's dealings. This is the first you have asked, Fumihiko. Why the sudden curiosity?" She replied. It was, after all, a break from the normal proceedings they had so far. A question of how many followed by the price, was it not? Finally, Yuno's eyes looked away as she glanced up at a bit of ceiling in thought. Already, the faintest desire for those feline eyes to return to her bubbled up to the surface as Yuno thought it over, Just why was she curious? That was, in itself, a good question.

"It's no small matter now, really," Yuno's almost haunting gaze returned. She frankly began to explain as her golden irises seemed to glimmer. "A station like this is no laughing matter. You have to have a working population and an entire economy running within it for starters - it's like..." She paused, voice trailing off for a moment. A faint smile slowly began to touch upon her luscious lips, nevermind that they didn't have a hint of lipstick on them. "It's like starting a colony. Of course, there's also the steep price tag."

With a hand like silk - nevermind that she only had three fingers and a thumb - she showed Nomine the simply staggering amount Psychopomp would need to pay, not to mention the time it usually took to finish.

Nomine stood, finally, from her seat and refrained from stretching as she did so. The young woman would have shaken her hand were it not for the fact she wasn't sure it was the right gesture to make, this being a completely different part of space and all. "As I said before, the price is no matter. What matters is that I seal the deal," She lifted a thumb to her lips and faced the Neko with her body. "Although, of our desire to, when we have fully established ourselves, set up a storefront in Dawn? Is that a possibility for the future?"

"I would say it's far easier to set up a storefront in Dawn or Sunset Station than it is to build a station of your own," Yuno simply pointed out. "For the storefront though, you'll simply have to negotiate with the property manager, not me." With a graceful wave of her hand, the bill updated itself to include everything that Nomine wished to purchase. A small flotilla and the ships to guard them. A titanic space station capable of supporting millions, while building ships like a vast fleet yard - an investment that would take years to fully pay off. And all it needed was the final approval. A few security checks in the system, some discreet biometric scans, and for the classic touch, her signature. Then, the credits would flow, and everything would finally be set into motion. "So, will you make a contract with me?" Yuno asked, a faint, polite and ever demure smile on her lips.

If there was a time to back out, now was the time, as the pen that would set the gears turning simply sat there, waiting.

There was little hesitation on her part, her hand moving in a practiced motion as she placed her signature down upon the contract, the minute her elegant little strokes stopped, she knew the company assets would be taken. A worthwhile investment for the future. Nomine returned the smile and the pen, replying softly, seeing as they were already so close to one another.

"Yes, I will make a contract with you, Fumihiko. I'm certain this won't be the last we see of each other. Please confirm the transfer of funds." She would say, lifting a hand to gesture towards the Neko in general to continue. "Once it is satisfactory, I will be on my way towards other matters."

And so, Nomine stood there, perfectly patient and still as she let the green-haired Neko look through the books and whatever else was required of her to confirm that the transfer had indeed taken place. It was really just a blink or two.

"Done. It has been a pleasure doing business with you," Yuno smiled, sealing that sense of finality with those simple words. Just like that, more money than Nomine ever had in her life was moved about, and started greasing, turning gears of epic scale, and that was all the Nekovalkyjra had to say. "Is there anything else I can help you with?" the Business Neko asked. Regardless of the truth of the matter, it was always a little tempting to say yes, and having come this far?

Yuno was thinking the same exact thing.

"And it was a pleasure conducting business with you." Nomine returned the smile, bowing her head slightly towards the Neko. It was never her business how much the company built up over the decade and a half it had yet to become 'legitimate', only that it was used to further it's goals and aspirations. To the query as to whether or not there was anything else, if this was a normal young girl, perhaps. She was not. "No, I don't believe there's anything else .. I will have to find your storefront manager and speak with him or her, though. Might you tell me where they might be?"

"Of course," Yuno smiled.

For once, she wasn't going to be invited - subtly or not - to some other's home or quarters, and continue 'negotiations' and 'business' there. At long, long last, the green haired Neko could just relax at home after work, wearing whatever she wanted or nothing at all, and just play Star Souls or Blood Star. Maybe just lounge on a couch and watch the latest Meguka Magia. Actually, she could even go out with her other co-workers to dinner, like most Yamataian office workers, and have a drink!

To Nomine, Yuno well and truly smiled, still ever demure.

'Kanpai!'
