This is the report of Antonia Awesome Stark. I am currently the Cultural Exchange Officer on the YSS Eucharis. This is my first report to HQ.
First Day, Upon boarding the ship I was invited by the Shosho Ketsurui Hanako, to dinner with the rest of the crew. During the ride to said dinner, one of the Nekos aboard admitted to being a Ex-NMX Neko. I drew my HHG and offered to dispatch the possible traitor. After being throughly chastised and explained that that was a threat against a Yamatain officer, the Shosho let the issue slide and let me retrieve my pistol after dinner. Since then I have not pulled my fire arm outside of combat.
Once we launched, there were issues between me and the other ship's operator. Mainly them feeling like someone, a foreigner none-the-less, was trying to replace them. After talks and other personal off duty interactions we came to an understanding. This has become even less of an issue now that they are in officer training.
I helped out with an ground operation, that went no where. First contact with a new race called the Rixxor, or something like it. My language skills picked up on the streets of the home world helped with this, until one of the Yamatain crew went off and straight up attacked them and started a bad chain reaction leading to the destruction of their crashed ship.
The YSS Eucharis took holiday leave on Hanako's world. During which their crew and the Shosho tried to make me feel as part of the crew. It was a nice bonding experience. I accepted a NSMC tee shirt gift from Hanako, saying though I'm not a Marine I hoped I spoked for the bulk of them in thanking her.
That is all for now. The ship is about to launch for its next mission and we have not yet been briefed on its particulars.
