A cacophony of gunfire filled the air as the Winged Hussars team fought....

Quite the short post for the opening of a plot many, if not all people looking at this thread would say, but in a way, that is the desire.

I don't plan on running this like a typical plot. Investment to a story is important, and while some GM's can do this with a story they develop everything for, I don't want to take that route. Players also get invested in what they do, and in reality, the players are the ones who push the story forward.

Though players don't want to build everything. Whats the point of a GM if the Players are doing everything?

There are a lot of questions this post leaves open.

Where are we?

Who are we fighting?

What is our objective

When during the mission did this firefight start?

Why did the firefight start?

The players are going to answer these question through the rotation and their roleplay. The first person to post answers the first question. The second person answers the second, and no on and so on. When that first rotation is over, and all the questions are answered, I take over and build the plot around the answers of those initial questions. As more important questions show up, I leave that information out, and pose the question to a spot in the post rotation. This allows the players to decide the important details. This allows the players to choose what they are doing.

Lazy? Some might say that, but I think it'll allow for players to have far more input to the plot, without needing to have discussions OOC.

This Interest check is pretty lacking on information though, so here is what I know for a fact. The players will be a part of a Winged Hussars team that has to accomplish missions. The Winged Hussars are the latest addition to The Union Military, whom they want to be the best of the best the Union has to offer. Players can be any race they want so long as it makes sense they would be there either from the native population, or through exchange programs with Union allies.

I want to build a story the Players want to tell. You give me the foundation through roleplay, and I take that and build the house. Will you always get what you want? Maybe... But you will for sure have a major part in the story of this plot.
