Sakura II Discussion (formerly A THOUGHT Experiment)

Glad to hear that some of you are staying! Sorry for the delay. Gunny and I need to handle the transition. After that, it is my intention to have a timeskip that will have the Sakura II be refitted to the version currently in the NTSE.

We may or may not have a Dare Lottery before the timeskip, after, or none yet. It's your call, people~
 
I would love to have a Dare Lottery Party! (After the timeskip of course so I can join in the fun as well ;)) I can't wait!

Before the current crew splits ways, I wanted to give a bit out-of-the-blue thank you.

Ren was (and still is) a special thought experiment character for me. For a long time, I've questioned my gender identity, but mostly pushed it away. After writing Ren's character, I ended up changing her details a bit to explore those feelings. (Incidentally, her backstory of nervously changing her gender on her body upgrade form was modeled directly after me nervously wanting to make those character changes :D.) Roleplaying her really made me think about what it would be like to transition and all the interactions made me really happy. With Ren playing a part in my decision, I've recently starting coming out as trans and began taking hormones on Feb. 1st!

So I would really like to thank everyone in the plot for helping me get here! Especially @Miyako for extensively roleplaying and JPing with Ren. I was super nervous and timid during the JPs, so I'm sorry if I appeared distant or slow to respond >.<. Those JPs really meant a lot to me.

And a big thanks to @Gunsight1 for running an amazing plot! Its been a great story so far and I'm glad to have been a part of it.
 
My final post as GM is up, with something at the end for you guys. As of writing this, Toshiro is now in command of the Sakura II.

I will be remaining on to play Yamashiro Sakura as a regular player.
 
Wes said to act as though the Plumeria 2E refit were approved so that the tech approval process wouldn't hold up RP. Something Cadet also advised. The time skip will be explained by the Sakura II receiving a prototype refit through early YE 40.
 
So, people. What do you want to do? Did you want to get into it with a new Mission, have a Dare Party, or have a pervy Dare Party? Or have some of those options concurrently?
 
We'll have a mission and a NSFW Dare Party side-by-side. The NSFW Dare Party will be optional and at a different point in time, so people can post in both. Please gather up at least three dares each for those of you participating to put into the hat and send them to me.
 
Well, the dares can be tame or lewd. I would recommend that the dares impact mainly the person drawing the dare, or make sure other partied impacted by the dare are willing or can decline. If someone declines to do a dare they've drawn, they then draw two more as a penalty. Ideally, five dares would be taken, but three are a minimum I'd like to see.

Anything from "do this super lewd thing" to "eat/drink this strange mixture" is possible. Surprise me. Just know that you might get your own dare.

I've been trying to come up with some dares @Toshiro , but I was having a really hard time, and after some thought, I realized I just don't have my heart in it anymore. I hate doing this, especially since you just became GM, but I have to go. If you'd like, you can NPC Sakamoto though, since I trust you with her.
 
I am sorry that you feel that way, but it is best that you find out now than later, I suppose. Let me know if you decide to come back later.
 
Miyako, Yagen, and Gunny (as a player) have said they'd stay. SirSPT is unsure. CadetNewb and ArsenicJohn are out, and I have heard that Immortal and possibly Acewing won't be able to continue until April for differing reasons of which I'm not 100% on the details of and wouldn't be mine to elaborate on anyway. The latest few changes make me have to ponder my options, as I have fewer people than I thought I'd have for the mission I intended. Also means one of the biggest proponents for the Dare Party won't be around.

I have to rearrange what I intended to do in light of this. Sorry for the further delay. Maybe I should do one of the later missions I was considering, but those aren't as well fleshed out yet.

Immortal was banned for a month due to abusive treatment of other members (namely calling one of the moderators "a disease" and cursing at them in response to the resulting warning PM).
 
I'm working out the details of two possible RP ideas, which are not necessarily mutually exclusive. If you have experience NPCing Rixxikor or SAoY Rikugun forces, please PM me.
