SARP Radio?

Just a odd thought that occurred to me. Like a sort of talk show that goes on discussing plot elements and things between factions, theories, characters and such (Past, Present and Future). Very odd, I know, but it was something that could be cool imo considering we've years worth of stuff to likely go on. Plus, it maybe a good way to advertise one's own plots and things. Thoughts?

-Shrugs- Anyone could I suppose. Granted I'd thought, two people discussing things with a new person every so often to maintain freshness, or something like that. More or less I think it'd be quite informative to say the least.

Well, I have an HD digital camcorder...I could make Youtube videos. I don't really have any SARPers nearby to discuss with, though.

I would be interested to get in on something like this.

I don't know what I would talk about, for how long, or what, but what I do know is that I think this would totally kick butt and draw in many more people who look at the massive amount of information and run away scared. if we had a way of archiving some conversations between people discussing the setting, people could listen to those as they are RPing, or creating a character, or reading over the wiki...ETC.

There are free podcasts, I've listened to the Anime Counterpoint on one such thing.

I'm sure each podcast could have a single topic and run for at least a half hour depending on the topic. It could be like about the neko's, recent events, new factions, advertising your stuff in the new tech thread to give an idea what you might do with it (haha I'd do it), or even about roleplay itself (which would probably be the starting point).

It would need at least 2 people consistently, with one as a guest.

That is hoping one of the 2 is funny to keep things interesting eh?

Could also consider converting a topic from a plot to the equivalent of an Audio Book, with someone reading / recording the contents of the chosen forum. To let people capture the feel of a plot. best example would probably be to take the text from a JP and make an audio entry out of it. Just a thought.

The best podcasts I've listened to all seem to follow a pretty similar format. One "host" with either one or two guests. (One of which may be around so much he or she might as well be a second host) The host provides the structure while the guests provide the color. Usually there's 2-4 topics (depending on length) that are discussed, one or more usually having something to do with the guest(s) for that week.

I don't remember if Vent can record conversations, but I'm ninety percent sure skype can.

I would be down for listening to or being a part of a SARP podcast. I think you made some gears turn in my head, Soresu. If anyone is still interested in starting this up, say something.

Not all of these work, Wes :/ Is there any way you can revive them on chirbit? Can you listen to them on your end?

SARPtalk episode 1-13 (13 is the one I was looking forward to the most, but 3 and 6 caught my eye, as well) and none of SARPcast work, sadly enough.

I enjoyed the ones I could listen to, though, quite a bit!
