The time has come to RAISE THE DEAD threads from their festering tombs. Star Army members, get ready to GRAVEDIG old thread through the dark arts of THREAD NECROMANCY.
This year's event consists of three phases. Not only will you get to see all sort of old content that may be of interest to you, and help revive old discussions that could still be worth talking about, but you also will help get the site more organized by helping with the wiki. I encourage everyone to participate.
- Phase 1: Now through October 21 - Points will be earned by exhuming the corpses of old approved submissions threads. In order to bump you need to add the approval thread URL to the OOC notes of the submission's wiki article.
- Phase 2 will run Oct 22-26 and will be for raising dead WIP wiki articles (no edits in over a year) and finishing them. To win you simply have to submit it to the Setting Submissions forum. Note: it doesn't have to be approved by October 26 to win.
- Phase 3 will run Oct 27-Oct 31 for setting discussion necromancy.
- Must be a discussion thread, not an RP thread. Setting discussion or "on topic" threads about Star Army are preferred.
- Only one post per topic counts.
- Post something of value; avoid one-liners! Spammy posts may not be counted at the staff's discretion.
- Contest ends at Midnight EST on the last day of October.
To claim your prize, post a list of your necro'd threads in this thread. The person with the most threads will win. It's OK to post more than once to show your progress as you go.
