Recently there's been renewed interest in the Senate of Yamatai! That's great! It's time to dust off Yamatai's government forum and have some debates made and laws passed.

Here's the application form for claiming a senate seat. You can see the current seats here.

That's a good point. I will allow Elysia, Xiuluria, and Asteria to each have 1 senator.

Why did you choose this system? I enjoyed the lore of it, so much so that way back when I provided some art for it.
What plans do you have to help this star system and the YSE? I will add to the lore and correct some of the spelling and grammar errors I saw on it. Other than that the system is fine. Any RP plans people have will not be disturbed or hampered.

Do you roleplay in Yamatai? Yes - Originally via the Sakishima, and soon via my plot SINs of Anisa. I was also involved significantly with assisting @Ametheliana in the early days of the Kaiyo and have participated in building RP via my Independent plot ISS Shinpi which is heading to Gashmere shortly.
Why did you choose this system? A few months ago, I was poised with the chance to finally make a plot in Yamatai. Back then, I was informed that Anisa was untended and, at the time, had begun planning the earliest stages of my plot. This involved discussion briefly with @Khasidel who is also involved in the planet, where we came to an understanding that we would both be improving the world.

Shortly after, I formed the basis for my plot. I also attached one of my GMPC's, Takimori Ronin, to the world with the intent to further develop him in side stories that would follow up after the Gashmere arc of Shinpi. This was done with the creation of an old flame (who I'd hinted at in his earliest JPs) and a daughter who both live there.
What plans do you have to help this star system and the YSE? Simple and what I do with everything I begin to touch up on. Let me outline the best revamp I've personally overseen, the Delsaurians (which still isn't quite done in the big picture of my scope).
  1. Expansion. This will focus on expanding the locations of Anisa as well as NPC pools on it, like how I've prepared a ship and still have the planet to do for the Delsaurians. I did, however, expand greatly on the actual Delsaurians (such as by adding biological details that make them far easier to NPC or even making them more feasible to play) and had been in the talks of bringing back a proper Delsaurian as their planetary Governor.
  2. Checklist-style Updating. Akin to my intent for Kennewes (which I'd been taking a bigger push for) and what I did when collecting info for the Delsaurians. This is how I build up a list of what to "scrap" (either as being too insignificant or not helpful) or what I polish up (such as conflicts occurring, but they have no location... so I'd make that location to better translate that history of the battle).
  3. Addition and Inclusion. This stage is generally when I've pieced a lot of it together and made the core update. With the Delsaurians, this is why I paused my revamp as I needed to prepare additions (like their Acuri, which is sitting mostly done somewhere in my Desktop, or the HCG, which helped give Delsaurians a tough weapon to match their tough lifestyle). This stage will also include others, such as those I feel are helpful (I did this with @Syaoran while developing Ken-TEC, because they had experience and drive for a good corporation).
I do bounce around while working on things (and I likely will continue doing so as a newly appointed FM), but I've done anything but lie. And, as those who have GENUINELY worked with me know, I do not just completely abandon something unless it's specifically not wanted. There have been countless ideas I fleshed out that simply never came about because I am willing to work with the FMs and backdown if they tell me "No, nevermind, don't do it". I've had one of the best track records for delivering on my revamps, such as the Delsaurians and the Nepleslian Medal update, and I think it's pretty straight forward that I'm not asking for something "just because". I've thought out my plan very thoroughly and intend to fully push to get things done, just like I always do.
 
Legix seems to have the better plan for Anisa and closer attachment to it, and he's actually doing RPs involving Anisa so I'm going to choose him for Anisa's senator. But Ira, I'm happy you're getting involved in the senate and I'd be happy to let you grab another system.

Veronica? That place only has a small SAINT outpost that's actually their HQ. Doesn't seem like that great of a pick.

Would you like the Kotori system? I don't think Kotori will be able to remain senator of it with all the bad things happening around her. Maybe she'll need a replacement and Planet Kotori is supposedly an increasingly influencial part of the Bard cluster.

Why did you choose this system? Seems like it may see action with the Kuvvy invasion coming that way. Current IRL makes asynchronous RP like transmissions, solo JPs and wiki work easier than thread RPing, so this could be a great chance for me to improve this system.
What plans do you have to help this star system and the YSE? Reinforce and set up as a rally point for 1XF now Hanako's World has been taken. Pump out new ships to replace ones recently lost from the initial attack. Begin collaborating with nearby systems to set up prewarning/bulwark if the enemy pushes that far into Yamatai, maybe using new Recon Corps, perhaps talking with the Kazumi System. I'll also be using this opportunity to backfill some of the passed senate proposals using this position, since I enjoy doing that sort of documentation as well.
Do you have a character to use as a senator? Not yet but have ideas in mind.

What plans do you have to help this star system and the YSE? Anslen's goal is primaraly focused on the Liberation of Essia, from the Kuvexian fleet that has taken it and the rest of the area.
