Thinking about it I could actually make a character creation program that makes creating a character easy using a GUI and prints your wiki code out into a txt file for pasting. Not sure if that steps on Wes' toes as he's been doing similar for a while. Anyway back on topic.

The null/termination line(s) are a weird sort of illusion of the background data. I'm not sure how a user would comprehend a null line haha :p. It's technically null length rather than zero length so it doesn't affect things luckily. I've used this method before so it should be cool. Do you have the source code to make these changes btw or did you want to me write it in Java, Python or something? I see conflicting posts ><

I do have training and experience in PHP, JavaScript and DHTML to make this web-based if that's a thing Wes wants to host on-site. Will take a little while longer but I can get that out easily enough.

If I have the source code, which I doubt, it'd be on a computer from 2004 that's either in storage or disassembled into pieces. You'd be better off writing it from scratch if it's that easy anyway -- my coding sucked.

Having it be web-based might be better if only so that everyone is using from the same set of files, but could also mean it needs to follow the format of Wes' other PHP stuff and have to return a massive text window rather than spitting out a saved text file. So in the end, it's up to you to determine which serves best.

The salvage lists were created because the Mishhu wars created massive battles that left battlefields too large to easily clean up. But since the Mishhu wars there have been almost no huge space battles to create fields of salvageable debris. Maybe this will change with the Kuvexian war grows more intense but it hasn't happened yet. Also I suspect Mishhu war salvage fields are all picked over now.

I'm working on a piracy list to make it easier for me to determine what we get from the Baba Yaga's privateering and eventually pirating.

Is there any progress on this? I'm thinking I'd like to set up a list for salvaging in Tokyo to encourage action there.

    Recommendations are welcome.

I've been focusing on my exams but in less than a week they'll be all done. I never heard a go ahead so I haven't done anything with it yet but it seems like it'd only take a few days of work at most.

Edit: I'm still very busy to everyone who needs me back on the site >< give me 4-5 days and I'll be back!

It looks like 188604 is heading towards another space battle, this time with Alex Tasuki leading the skyguard against NMX.

Anyone interested in salvaging that when the time comes?
