master.txt is the Master List. The program can't work without it, and it MUST be in the same directory as the program itself, as should directory.txt.

Directory.txt points to where in your computer all the files have been placed. Everything you need to know is in the readme file. I know many of you do not LIKE having to read installation/configuration files, but it is necessary, though simple enough.

Cora said the same thing, and also motioned for more inclusion of pets to steal, oddly though.

For that reason, most of the civvy ships with Eggs (Save the Bellystabber, I made it super-kinky intentionally) are likely to have Kawaiis and Kawaii Kibble.

I would like to be notified of more types of pets that may be encountered, and request additions to the lists with spare parts, should I have missed something.

Also, to explain, People/Months are used thusly:

So Wes, do you want to skip the by ship/manifest system entirely and just have this represent the entire Yamatai list like in Salvage?

It would be FAR easier to implement, though I think that, unlike salvage, it may need a GM to RP as the ship (or ships) this stuff is taken from.

Your way is fine too. With mine, maybe the ship type would determine the number of rolls.

Like in salvage. ^^ Of course, there should be an option of them taking the ship or a prisoner, or even being detected and pursued as well. What do you think? You have some free slots. I like your way better, BTW.

For future reference, the Yggdrasill is currently 20 items in roll. As such, this extends to the entire Vampire class, probably. Unless 20 was the beta-testing limit and not the ship one.

I'd like this concept to be approved:

Piracy will work in this manner: In Piracy, there will be a roll for the type of ship that is found, based on where in space one is.

Depending on the outcome of the resulting raid, and the type of ship, the Pirates will then make rolls for items based on the race from which the ship hailed.

There is a limit to the number of items both ships can hold. The maximum that can be rolled is the smaller of these numbers.

I think that is best compromise, and the most realistic yet, as well.

Both ships (the pirates' and the assaulted ship) would have a maximum limit as to how many items they can carry. The limit would be the smaller of the two ships' limits, because:

If you ran into a huge vessel, the pirate ship couldn't carry all of it's cargo; and if you ran into a tiny ship or a shuttle, it wouldn't be carrying enough cargo to fill your vessel.

Pirates would look thorugh the full cargo (the larger list) and then just space the items they didn't want.

If the haul is really terrific, nothing stops the pirates from leaving some behind and coming back later too. After all, space travel is really quick.

True, assuming they silence the crew somehow and hide the ship.

That also assumes they have a place to store it all or sell it quickly. They'd need a warehouse or a place at Halna or something.

If they can do all that, they might as well just use the ship for their own ends after repainting it and the like.
