You have my sincerest condolences regarding your recent change in posting within the Star Army of Yamatai - because let's be honest: regardless of what the public records say, you and I both know you were reassigned from the YSS Wyvern because of the recent hostage situation. You and I both know you argued vehemently with your superiors about whether the Wyvern should have intervened, and you and I both know that you lost your temper after your superiors flatly refused to issue orders to that effect - as you damn well should have! You and I both know that the first duty of any military is to protect its citizens from harm - yet the Star Army of Yamatai chose instead to protect itself by leaving its citizens to die.
You and I both know that those citizens - among them nearly three dozen of our kind - would have had their safety guaranteed had you been in command of the YSS Wyvern, as you and I both know that you would have done the right thing and rescued them, orders or no orders.
You and I both know that you're capable of being so much more then a servant of the very people responsible for killing your father, of the very people who would forsake their duties and rules out of laziness and fear. You and I both know you're capable of so much more, so I have an offer: meet me at 11:30 tomorrow for lunch at the Akilina's near the Senatorial Office Complex - and make your father proud.
