About 80% finished at the moment.

Key changes:

-Nifty new sensor dome
-Subspace catapults!
-Hugely nerfed number of power armors (old version had 35k!)
-Dimensions and decks charted using DOGA
-Redesigned interiors using standard layouts

Note that at this time the weapons loadout has not been altered from the original design.

Maybe a footnote under the hull section:

Irim Gunships produced by the 5th XF after the Battle of Jiyuu (Wiki coming) in YE 30 will have hull compositions of Yamataium. :)

No need to build new ones when the Fleet Depot at Nataria still has a huge number of them. Just take what you need and have your ships upgrade them.
 
I think the Irim just became a better plotship following the current standards you have for the KFY ships. It's not the best thing we've ever had, but it's still much better than it was and it remains one bad mofo too.
