The preparations for the move were in the works since the earliest times of the UOC's settling... Growth, that was the move which was planned. For growth, there had to be seeds to grow from, seeds such as mining settlements, colonies, and outposts. To fuel this growth, ninety-one ships were built, Nir-Class colony ships.
The order was given from above, from the Prince himself, and the twin-royals of the Lorath. With the order, a caravan of colony ships and a flight of escorting military ships made their way out from the Yugumo Cluster, and into the southern reaches of land which they were promised by right of diplomacy.
It was a feat of logistics and speed as the colony ships rapidly spread through the south-eastern reaches like a wildfire. Rapidly the ships went about their decent to their new homes. Military assets were also placed to keep each colony comfortable and secure... From one side, it can be viewed as a grand monumental expansion, from another, it could be seen like a swarm of locusts descending upon a vast field.
The grand push carried the group to the systems labeled E7,E8, E9, E10, E11, E12, E13, HX18, HX6, HX7, HX5, HX4, HX3, HX17, HX14, HX15, and HX16. Even beyond to the unmarked systems which stretched from the south of the United Outer Colonies.
At some of these locations, the colonists would find they would have neighbors. Of course, as citizens of the UOC, the colonists upheld their ideals of peace as they settled the spaces which were not occupied, and no move was made against their Yamataian neighbors which had made themselves present.
