Let it be known to all that the YAMATAI STAR EMPIRE, which is currently in WAR with the organization of rebels and brigands calling itself the INDEPENDENT WORLDS LEAGUE, is now part of a DEFENSE ALLIANCE that includes the DEMOCRATIC IMPERIUM OF NEPLESLIA and the LORATH MATRIARCHY. Members of DEFENSE ALLIANCE at resolved to assist each other in military matters, and consider an attack on one alliance nation as an attack on all of the alliance nations. Pursuant to this development we hereby REQUEST THE SURRENDER of the INDEPENDENT WORLDS LEAGUE to Yamatai, in the form of its members returning to their nations of origin and its leadership turning themselves in to face criminal charges for their pirate attacks on Yamatai's northen borders. We are prepared offer AMNESTY to the non-leadership IWL members if they surrender and will allow them to live in freedom.
If INDEPENDENT WORLDS LEAGUE refuses to surrender, the DEFENSE ALLIANCE is resolved to declare the league as a BELLIGERENT STATE and will create a multi-national TASK FORCE to seek out and eliminate the leaders in WAR. The YAMATAI STAR EMPIRE expects the INDEPENDENT WORLDS LEAGUE to answer within THREE (3) DAYS from the receipt of this ULTIMATUM.
