This may be a strange question for a sci-fi roleplaying community, but would you guys be interested in making a Star Army cookbook? Basically sharing our best personal and/or awesome old family recipes and building a collection?

I could be down for something like this... Just have to actually write down a family recipe >.>

Most of them at taught by sight, not actual measurements.

Was gonna say, I don't have recipes, per se. More like lists of ingredients with incredibly general amounts.

lol...pretty much the same...unless I bake. Then I use actual measurements. Of course, I usually just use whatever recipe I can find!

I have a soup that I make, it was my grandfather's favorite. It costs about $20 Dollars or so to make, $30 if you make it into something else. But it's enough for about 16-20 servings easily. Sadly, I don't ever remember eating it with him. But it came to me about a year or so after his death. The first time I made it, I was visiting my mother. She was shocked because it came out just like his and yet I'd never looked up a recipe for it or gotten it from him.

Anyways, I'll try to put it to paper.

I've been cooking stuff myself (those who follow me on Facebook know this very well), and I could suppose Luca cooked them in character at least once or twice.

I'd be happy to share a couple of quick and dirties with ya. Phoenix Pheed, I'd call it.

I cook frequently and competently. What kind of recipes would be best?
Some ideas:
  • Personal favorites
  • Simple stuff that any SARPer should be able to manage
  • Stuff inspired by SARPiverse food?
  • Low-cost but delicious meal ideas for the poor students of SARP

HEY I JUST MADE THE BEST OMELETE

ai.imgur.com_PNpYdHV.jpg

3 Eggs
1/8 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp milk

Whisk all that together in a bowl.

Throw some butter on an 8" pan and let it cover it very lightly. When that butter get all frothy throw that egg mix in.

Let that egg mix settle, then pull the edges towards the center and tilt the pan and let that uncooked egg go under it.

When the top of that egg pancake isn't all wet anymore throw cheese on it and fold the cooked egg over and let it cook.

Make sure to fold the stuff with a spatula and not your fingers.

edit: Make sure to whisk with a whisker not your fingers.
