"Hello everyone."
A large, burly man of ID-SOL descent cuts into view on the screen.
"My name is Ashton Acres; CEO of Ken-TEC. At Ken-TEC, we have one goal; to ensure you Ken-TEC home your very own piece of prime Nepleslian engineering."
The ad goes silent so the joke clearly doesn't land.
"Ahem... well, apologies. Today, I hope my ad space is well-received; all of you fabulous folk out there providing us excellent encouragement in the local scene of Kennewes and even custom orders have been a big help! So today, we want to give back. No, I don't mean our recently produced shuttle - the Rukh - but something better."
The screen flicks to display nearly 200 square miles of Kennewes's massive swamps, forestry, and ruins. And then it laces with countless markers and paths.
"Today, we're announcing that Ken-TEC is working closely with Kennewes University to build a new center piece of Nepleslia; the Kennewessian Raceways. With multiple tracks and courses we can modify and intermingle - with our largest initial track being a planned three-hundred miles long - with changes to relays, the Kennewessian Raceways will hopefully become a brand new chapter in Nepleslia's exotic and fascinating interest in going fast."
"The rules of the raceway are still being decided; many of you may or may not have raced on ancestral racetracks and smaller courses, so you know that there's plenty of speed categories and types of races we could allow. Our first course will be open to airbikes as we continue negotiations with the local organized racers to integrate the Raceways into a proper and a hopefully prestigious location."
Various locations throughout Nepleslia flicker up, as well as detailed network information to provide sign-ups and contact information through traditional systems in the major nations.
"If you'd like to form one of the Kennewessian Raceways' first teams and help us build something, you can visit these sites or contact the Kennewessian Racing Bureau opening next week. Foreign and local teams are welcome; even other nations who are interested in facing Nepleslia's finest craft and racers can swing on by."
The information slides to the side, Ashton winking to the camera.
"See you on the racetrack later this month, folks. And keep an eye out for the next Ken-TEC product... we assure you, you're going to love the way we let you go fast. Because at Ken-TEC... well, we Ken-TEC you to the absolute limit of speed."
The commercial flicks off and goes back to the next big gun review; today's review is the infamous Zen Armament .45 Pistol. It's a well-loved classic and a weapon that can be as trusty as a properly-sighted HHG...
