There are several issues with which I would like to discuss with you, the first being a report for the idea of a minor refit to the Densetsu's Aerospace bays.
While analysis of the craft's design and tactical use implies that craft can be deployed during fold and at a generally reasonable speed from an engineering standpoint, it is possible to easily modify the ceiling of these Aerospace bays with launch decks to halve its deployment speed and install Scalable Graviton Beam Projector Arrays to lift craft off the elevator and into position to eliminate the need for taxiing. I have a design ready for the meeting you mentioned, and hope that it is acceptable to Motoyoshi-Taisa for her squadron.
I've also been looking over the fleet numbers, and have a bit of concern that the ten Nibasha-Class Heavy Freighters may be insufficient for our needs. As a mobile fleet, we lack a stable nearby source of resources and materials, and I worry that we may require more outside logistical support from our government than other fleets. In addition, our position potentially places us in a 'first responder' role to NMX combat on various worlds; placing upon us the burden of supplying, medicating, and feeding potential victims of the NMX after battle is concluded and until other fleets can mobilize a more cohesive aid effort.
It may be necessary to produce five to ten more such ships, or at least claim some of the Odori from the 3rd XF depot until we see exactly how many such ships are practical and necessary for our needs. I have the same concerns about our two agricultural vessels supplying the entirety of our needs and would like to remind you that the 3rd XF Depot also has a Noujou Agricultural Ship. While not up to date, it may be a good reserve craft to have until we know just how many resources we will require in practice.
For research in single-pilot management in Production Bay Seven, I am requesting the 8 remaining Ketsueki-class Escorts from the 3rd XF Depot's Assignment Queue to be transferred there. Spare Yuuko-class Gunboats would also be suitable. These discontinued craft are compact and well suited to my needs for testing and may eventually be refitted. If not possible, I also intend have the bay produce some "Suzumebachi" Attack Drones for my research and testing of this control system, though I hope to use existing decommissioned ships for the early phases before using resources to produce new craft.
I would also like to get my hands on a large vessel of some type for temporary testing, after which it can be returned or kept for our use. I do not intend to utilize it permanently for my experiments, and it could even be a decommissioned craft which has been partially stripped of its systems.
