Character Article URL: Celestial Fury (To be changed into Nickname)
Preferred Plot's GM: @Gunhand4171 (Ragnarok)

Paging @Wes just to be sure, as extensive reworking is needed for this character.

Overall, my general plans are to clean up the wiki and make it sane again. I'm planning to have Mr. Fury be a Red-created infiltration specialist from one of the last ID-SOL batches from the Red stronghold in Kennewes, who betrayed his comrades and supported the Greens during the battle, under orders from his superiors to plant himself as a sleeper agent in the military. A small but welcome help during the ground assault, Mr. Fury earned minor battle honors and a position as an easily-overlooked low-ranking NCO, dispelling suspicions through his sleep-taught deception skills.

Little did he know his superiors were all killed due to an evac gone wrong, their escape vehicle intercepted and destroyed by the waiting fleet.

For the shuttle theft that earned him his bounty from the Star Army of Yamatai, I'm planning to spin it as him sensing a target of opportunity and attempting a kidnapping on said Yamataian diplomat. Quickly realising that he no longer had any extraction or delivery points after his discreet communicator failed to pick up any signals, he booted the diplomat out into an escape pod and went AWOL in order to spin the botched raid as a petty hijacking and reduce military attention on him. It apparently worked, as the SAoY as content to nail a bounty on his head and not send any military assets after him.

More Marty Stu adaptations:
  • Skin glowing a Golden Hue: Produced for assassination/infiltration missions, he has camouflage technology akin to a Red-copied NAM "Snakeskin" Pigmentation Coat grafted onto his skin, allowing him to turn invisible for short periods of time. However, his skin glows normally due to the cloak's idling operations and glows especially bright after it deactivates, with an accompanying thermal bloom highly visible to IR scanners. The system is vulnerable to EMP shockwaves, which will deactivate the system and deliver a serious shock to his nervous system, hampering his combat capabilities for a while.
  • Pacifist Face and Demeanor: Trained in infiltration, his sleep-taught regimen was adapted to emphasize efficiency and stealth. Hence, he was taught to behave in a pliant, non-confrontational manner deemed to be conducive with blending in and dispelling suspicion. Due to the unpolished nature of the regimen and its unhealthy acceleration in pace, he was left with a rather unsound mind, even for an ID-SOL.
  • Links to "X-Tech": Make-believe stories from his younger days with his batch-mates, he is fond of telling these stories as jokes when among "friends". A subtle coping mechanism for his betrayal of them, one of the only ways his ingrained training will permit. He is physically unable to say their names.
  • Hooked Machete (in-potrait): Childish toy crafted in his younger days as a replica for the legendary Captain Stone's signature shortsword, he has refined it and alloyed the crude metal with Nerimium to turn it into a viable weapon. Proficient in it, often uses it as an offhand or emergency weapon.
  • "Celestial Fury": Pretend-name from his "boy"hood, now gifted to his machete as a memento to his past. Engraved into the base of the blade in small cursive writing are the words: "Celestial Fury, Kennewes YE 29". Often mistaken as a battle trophy for participating in the campaign, he is content to let the assumption stand.
  • Assorted Stu "Pacifist" Behaviours: Presented as zen-like calmness and controlled bursts of aggression, he is rather amoral due to his upbringing and puts little weight in relationships. He will only move when he deems someone to be a threat or obstruction, which can happen suddenly with little warning. Due to his innate ID-SOL lethality, his victims often have little chance to explain themselves, leading to a number of tragic occurrences in rowdy bars.
Created in YE 29, two months prior to the Kennewes Offensive. He is 8 years old (chronologically) and deserted in YE 34, escaping in a stolen T7 shuttle. He has mellowed out over the years and is somewhat stable, albeit with minor Red leanings that he takes pains to conceal.

Addendum: I am aware of the current bounty on his head, I plan to resolve it sometime in the future and bring a close to the case.

All in all, he is in essence a child soldier brought up as Sam Fisher instead of John Rambo, thus his numerous idiosyncrasies and borderline psychopathy. Having no one to guide him and left on his own in the wider universe, he is, to put it crudely, a goddamn mess of temporary fixes and improvised patch-jobs.

Could use some updating. Like if he was part of nep civil war, he can't be two years old.
Updating him to be an ID-SOL flash-cloned on Kennewes (Red-aligned) two months prior to the Offensive and aging him up to 8 since then.

He's now a Red that defected to the Greens as part of a sleeper op, then went AWOL during a botched op after figuring out that his commanders were all dead. Explains his eclectic behaviour and the shuttle theft that led to his bounty.

Working on the wiki, scaled him down and cleaned up the Personality section a bit. Say hello to John Kennedy (insert JFK joke, not really), alias "Celestial Fury".

Also, I gave him the Clooney hair.
