[CONCLAVE BROADCASTING NETWORK] Expansion and Operator Project Continue as Unrest Dies Down

8/25/42

Thank you for joining us tonight on CBN. Before we begin, we'd like to take a moment and thank some of our sponsors; The generous funding of the Aristocratic Government, the Mining Guild, and Black Wing Enterprises, and viewers like you make our broadcasts possible.

Tonight, as YE42 edges towards a close, we'd like to take some time to reflect on the aftermath of the tragedy that occurred just over 3 standard months ago. In the aftermath of Lord Jack Pine's tragic assassination and his daughter Neera Pine's ascendancy to the throne, the New Dusk Conclave has continued to forge ahead with sweeping reforms, colonization initiatives, and citizen development projects.

Following a battle with Kuvexian assisted pirates in the former-YSE system of Vale, the Conclave has solidified its control over the system, repurposing a SAoY starport for habitation. The port, which many of you out there may now know as Amit base, has become a hub of activity for Vale, serving primarily as a waypoint for Conclave ships in the system. Some daring tourists have even begun to make it a vacation destination.

In Nephis, colonization of the formerly YSE system continues on the third planet, with the Arcadia settlement growing considerably since its founding almost a year ago. Scientists report that the flora and fauna of the planet are not harmful to settlers by and large, and the settlement is quickly becoming a tourist destination, with escorted tours of the forests becoming a significant source of revenue for Arcadia.

Finally, on the homefront, the finalization of the Operator project has come to pass this month, with our new mechanical neighbors beginning to make their way into all aspects of life here in Obsidian City. While some see the project as controversial and its progeny as aloof and unfriendly, no one can deny the efficacy with which Operators take to their work. As the Operator population grows, rumors are even beginning to circulate that a new city will be developed to house them.

That's all for our look back tonight, thank you for joining us on CBN, and as always, we'll see you next evening.
