It had seemed like such an ordinary night before calls began coming in, a few snippets of chatter so suddenly snowballing into what seemed like a chaotic tsunami, one which pushed Division 5’s communications networks to their limits. What had initially been reported in as some potentially suspicious characters quickly escalated into the retort of weapons and thunderous explosions assaulting the sensitive vulpine ears of the Kingdom’s many residents across Nesha Prime, kicking many contingency plans involving the Division of Public safety, Reserve Youth Corps and other armed forces capable of peace-keeping into action.

Initially it was mostly trying to establish clear lines between the panicked, general public and those who’d sowed the seeds of mayhem, by the time Captain Leo Ci’Rado’s team had started assembling the streets were already filled with heavy vehicles and walls of enlisted personnel wielding large shields establishing perimeters.

It was a few hours before sunset, though the shade field was currently casting shade across the planet earlier than was natural to try and calm the crowds by letting their natural night-vision remain unhampered.

Seeing as most of the briefing rooms were occupied already the snow-haired man had decided to bring the team up to speed in their locker room, telling the team to continue gearing up as their leader cleared his throat, a stressful vein pulsing on his forehead as the Captain attempted to keep his usual cool-as-ice demeanour.

“I won’t sugar coat things, team, it’s… things aren’t looking pretty out there~” Leo admitted, pursing his lips as Operator Depolanskaya’s chest fought back against the lass’ attempts to quickly zip up her protective bodysuit.

“But with that in mind we have to do our part, which is actually just a few minutes away granted our Prowler’s pilot sticks to back alleys, as of yet unidentified personnel have breached one of our safehouses… specifically safehouse She’reinko,” the snowy fox explained, already fully geared he took a moment to pause so his next words would better sink in, along with the stakes they’d carry.

“…yes, that means the undercover Field Operators who were making use of it at the time have been taken hostage… we’ve unconfirmed reports that the hostage takers might be flying KF colours but as I said it’s nothing solid yet,” Leo frowned, one hand on the hefty Tokir’ve plasma pistol occupying his hip holster.

“Five Field Operators were stationed there at the time of the attack and we’ve confirmed that there are at least seven attackers, I’ll bring the schematics up and explain further once we’re in the prowler but is everything crystal so far?”

It all happened so unbelievably fast, Suzu'ha thought, her black tail waving casually as she listened. A few days ago she was back with her team in the Youth Corps enjoying a strawberry cake on her last coming of age ceremony, the next day she was recommended to the Division 5 and the formal invitation came in shortly after. By the time she got her stuff ready and said goodbye to her friends back in the corps, she was sorted into her team and everything was already this mess. She barely had time to introduce herself to them and all she knows are their names and ranks! Adult life sure seems busy, she thought.

Running her clear blue eyes through the room, the 17 years old Daur observed her new squadmates. She almost had to lower her head to spot Arynn, but that came out as a relief. She sure is glad she isn't the youngest one around, she thought! The girl must be a real prodigy to be in the division at such an age. What was she? 14? Even less? Back then Suzu'ha was still struggling with her youth corps duties, if not working as a library assistant.

In any case, proper introductions could wait, and there was no better way to get to know each other than some real action in the field, after all. She ties her black hair up in a ponytail, zips up her protective bodysuit with ease, while glancing momentarily at operator DePolanskaya's struggle, adjusts her weapons on their holsters and turns back to commander Leo Ci'Rado with a salute. - "Positive sir, crystal clear."

Cirillo had been at home, trying to figure out what this relaxing thing was all about. The boy he met at the arcade, Rudouva Vezio, had given him a game console recommendation along with several titles to try. He found himself unusually engrossed in this zombie survival game when his communicator rang and made him jump in surprise.

Minutes later, he was rushing down to the station to meet his team for an urgent hostage situation. "Sorry I'm late," he said to Leo, giving a curt nod to his superior. I couldn't find a save point anywhere was the end of the sentence he refused to say. With a spin of the lock, he threw open his locker and began changing out of his loose comfortable clothes and into his uniform while listening to the briefing.

"It's cool, Cirillo, I'm sure we all understand that the streets aren't exactly easy to get through currently. Plus, we'd only just started," Leo explained, offering the room a small nod before the snowy man continued. Procuring a small volumetric projector from one of his pockets before the Captain threw it down onto the table, pressing a few buttons one a wrist-mounted terminal which corresponded to the air above the small device flickering to life, projecting a few grainy, washed-out images of geared-up Neshaten both Laibe and Daur alike with some rather foreign-looking weapons.

"Back to the briefing, while they're not flying Kingdom fall colours specifically we can assume until proven otherwise that such is the case, a lot of their ranks are ex-military so they'll be anticipating our arrival but hopefully all the commotion outside is enough to mask us at least at first. I'd suggest packing a strobe-capable flashlight for your rifles if you can find one but don't take too long, skids up in two minutes, get your heads right and meet me on the prowler to discuss our infiltration... good luck guys." the snowy fox finished, a small smile being the last thing the man offered his team before slipping into his helmet, if there were no further questions at this time he'd make his own way to their vehicle.

With a gasp that sucked in her chest a bit, Kyet finally managed to properly secure her chest-rigging even if it did bite into her a little bit more than she'd like, though the quiet Daur made no complaint. She simply rubbed one collarbone briefly before looking across her team-mates with a concerned little frown plastering her pale features, gripping the handle of the knife on her belt.

"This is going to be a long night~" the green and gold eyed fox murmured.

Suzu'ha pays close attention to the briefing up to the very end. Ex-military personnel... What makes a person leave the kingdom behind and move on to a life of crime, she wondered. To forsake all that is right and become a public security issue... Why would anyone ever do that? If one is looking for change, the best way to do so is through reform, not revolution. That only brings chaos, death, suffering and the changes never last, for they were imposed upon the people.

Other than the philosophical side of the matter, the girl also worries about the difficulty of the mission. While she worked at public security before, she usually dealt with common criminals. Poor, untrained people looking for an easy way out. To fight against ex-military would be a completely different matter, not to mention the hostages the enemy has captured. They surely have the advantage, she thought. In any case, she knew what she was getting into when she accepted the invitation for Division 5.

She smiles to operator Depolanskaya, masking all her worries with it. She was not one to worry her teammates with her rookie insecurity. - "Both metaphorically and literally, seeing the shade field is deployed across the city. Name's Suzu'ha, looking forward to working with you all! Lets do our best tonight!" - She added, turning to the rest. - "As for the lantern, where can I get one? I'm still unfamiliar with the place."

Kil'nda sat there in the brifing room with the others as his second call to action was another tricky sounding hostage situation. They have been given the mission and he wondered his roll to play in this. "Will I be taking another sniper position or infiltrating the base as well?" He asked. He hoped he could bring his rifle either way, felt naked almost going into battle without it. Part of him sort of wished he was still on the Gam'trosha exploring the stars, but reality had him here back planet side and part of a division meant to stop terrorists like these.

The rookie was asking about where the lanterns were and and honestly he might as well be a rookie as well given this was his second mission with the group. Still he atleast knew where equipment was at. "Come on this way I'll show you." He said hoping they had enough time to grab the lanterns as well as there was little time to get ready before thy would be heading off it seems

"Military? Well, ex-military. That's.... odd," the kit-sized Daur claimed, failing to elaborate on the comment. She was, in fact, still warming up her brain after her nap. The members she'd had experience with in the past were able to recognize the signs of this, with Arynn's left ear a little more flattened than the perky right ear, which was already swiveling about like a radar dish. One powered by pure caffeine.

"Arynn Sher'Meso, nice too meet you!" Locking eyes with the newcomer, Arynn had already put a smile on her face, her bushy tail snaking side to side behind her in a curious nature. "We might do well to up-arm ourselves for this, though, if we're going against Exmills. I didn't recognize those weapons, so they might have foreign-backed body armor as well." She... Didn't seem all that off-put. Or maybe she was, and just hiding it with energy. They have better aim than the terrorists. And the grenades probably won't be crap. Try to keep us intact and not captured this time, okay?

"Oh, I gotcha newbie, one sec," Cirillo chuckled with a nod as the long-haired Daur finished putting his long hair up into a flat bun that'd better fit under a helmet, snapping a hairtie around his hazel mess before shifting aside a large and rather fancy looking shield to access one of the lockers it had covered. Leo though realized his lack of an explanation and paused, tapping a gloved fist against the room's doorway before retracing his steps, the white fur on the man's tail looking slightly more erect than a few moments ago as the captain regarded the team with somewhat tired eyes.

"Right! my bad Kil'nda, bring your long-rifle because we're going to drop you on an adjacent rooftop to watch us along with miss Sher'Meso, the building's windows are all tinted and treated with an EM-shielding polymer composite thingy I can't quite remember the name of... Arynn's going to get eyes in there for us, no pressure," the Captain nodded as he got a little chuckle out of Cirillo, who'd found a spare light for the team's newest member, whistling to get her attention before tossing it to her.

"Now move those tails, I need to go make sure the Prowler hasn't left without us~"

Hopefully a few minutes later, crammed into the back of the Prowler...

The kinda tall, helmeted and armour-clad figure of Cirillo sat with poor posture, ballistic shield being rested on his knees hiding one nervous foot that impatiently tapped against the vehicle's floor, sound greatly muffled by the low growl of the beast's hover-skids working away. Each turn down the tight alleyways rocked the vehicle's occupants a little and served to scatter any debris away from the middle of the path, though it was otherwise a comfortable ride even if a bit tense.

In one smooth, practiced motion the captain clamped that same, recently used volumetric projector onto a mount on his wrist and flipped a small switch.

The rear of the armed and armoured hover-pill lit up with that same grainy, faintly blue holographic projection, though the images had been somewhat cleaned up to the point where you could make out the faces of attackers quite clearly.

Specifically, a Laibe snout sticking out from under one of the helmets, a very pronounced one that spoke of a strong Foite bloodline in the woman's ancestry. Kyet made sure to flatten herself a little more into the walls of the prowler, making it easier for the child-sized Daur next to her to see the screen past her chest, a small blush forming under the ex-agent's armoured faceplate though she said nothing.

"Right! so eh, the plan is~" Leo began rattling off, white ears sticking out from the light-weight, composite polymer helmet worn by the team's leader as he cycled through a few settings, the still images being replaced by a wireframe map of the cornered-off industrial block before zooming in on the safehouse. Had it not been for the Tinacen text hovering next to it the building would have blended in to its surroundings and never raised any questions.

"Operators Sher'meso and Limr'viad will fast-rope onto the lower terrace of a nearby power substation, if you follow a ladder up you'll find a maintenance shed that houses some of our redundant infrastructure for the safe house, it'll make a nice sniper's nest too if you can keep your white tips down... the cameras and sensors are routed through there so correlate what info you can pull then figure out the rest," Leo nodded, finger-gunning the two Operators of opposing height as he took a deep breath, undone chinstrap of his helmet clattering against the Daur's thick neck guard.

"The rest of us will also fast-rope in but onto the roof of the safe house, we'll time it so that a news skiff has their attention with a big pair of floodlights to mask out entrance, we'll then proceed to find a nice spot to hold out in until the others find the most optimal entrance point, Operator Hina'mi is here for her explosives skills so in the likely situation we need to force our way in she has us covered," the Captain continued to explain as he pointed out the various spots on the projected map, squinting a little though keeping its brightness at full so get the best clarity out of the floating model.

"There's more crates of ammo and mags under the seats if you feel inadequately prepared, everyone understand there role? we're clear to engage anybody at our own discretion though I'd like to keep a few of the hostage-takers alive if possible to get some info out of them, but the hostages are top priority... any questions?" the man finished, Operator DePolanskaya checking her two-tone pistol's magazine before giving a curt little nod.

"Thank you sir." - Said the girl with a salute after catching the tossed flashlight. She smiled to the others who greeted her and got ready for action, strapping on her helmet, checking if her guns were all properly holsted, not to mention her blade, sheathed and attached to her belt. After making sure it was all in order, the young Daur climbed in the Prowler after her commander, taking a seat.

--On the back of the Prowler--

Suzu'ha casually rubs her black ears sticking out of her helmet and adjusts her tail of the same color to the side to get more confortable inside. She paid close attention to the briefing, making sure to note the faces of the attackers. Best know their enemies well, to avoid any tricks, after all nothing is too dirty for a terrorist. Some might try to pass for hostages to get them to lower their guards, being careful is never too much when it comes to those things.

Upon hearing of her demolitions expertise, the girl couldn't help but smile, excited to play her part. Ever since she joined the military, youth corps included, that has always been her passion. Aah... To watch the flash of light, the target exploding and the smoke rising was always soothing. Not to mention the smell of gunpowder, it was hard to decide what was her favorite part of the whole thing. Taking into consideration their current predicament, the girl kept to small scale explosives, designed to open them a path inside and through walls. After all, destroying a Division 5 base of operations is to be avoided, not to mention the poor hostages still stuck inside, can't just bring down the whole thing, tempting as it may be. - "Yes sir!" - Said the young daur with a grin, cheerfully pounding her chest with a closed fist. - "Leave the delicate-forced-entrance to me, assuming the terrorists were smart enough to close down the windows, of course!"

Just thinking about the explosion(s) to come makes her feel more at ease, confident at her role. Terrorists got it all wrong, why blow things up illegally when you can do it legally while helping people on the way?

With a nod, Kil'nda grabbed his rifle and the rest of his gear and head off to the prowler with everyone else. From the looks of things, this time he would be sharing the sniper role which suite him just fine. As it ment even of he was pinned by enemy fire, another person could be taking shots and vice versa.

-On the Prowler-

Once everyone was on board and the transport in motion they were shown several faces of confirmed attackers. Should he manage to land his scope on any of them, he would have an up close view of there very last moments when he pulled his trigger. Further briefing was explained, a perfect sniper nest was already chosen for then to clear and make use of while the rest of the team handled different tasks. The windows might intialy be an issue bit it seems their explosives expert was on hand to help neutralize them and give more chances for him to have clean shots.

On the Prowlah

Arynn nodded and occasionally said "M-hm" as the briefing happened, her tiny body easily making room for most other people in the Prowler's interior. Thankfully, THIS Prowler still had its roof, and was likely to keep ahold of it. Probably. To take her mind off of things, the childlike Daur started inspecting her to-be-partner, an impressively-built Laibe who seemed to be carrying himself well. A bit of a joke, really, that she was going to be paired with someone this big... Or, well, someone as large as Kil'nda being stuck with the cub-like Arynn. She'd have to prove that she's capable of being on this team... And not just because she's proven to be an excellent distraction. She winced, her ribs still a bit sore from the beating she'd taken after her capture by Kingdom Fall.

"Cameras should be a piece of cake, unless they've cut themselves off. As soon as I'm in, I can give an update on their numbers and positions, and confirm any possible rescues," the miniature soldier stated energetically, her right ear twitching erratically.

Prolwer
"Good, I'm glad we're all on the same page then, other teams out and about tonight should help retake control of the situation these coordinated terrorist attacks have caused," Leo nodded as his gloved hands fiddled with his wrist-mounted projector, leaving it up a few moments longer than he meant to before projected map fizzled out, the prowler's "windows" lighting up as plans fell into motion.

"That's our cue to get ready to rope, good luck out there, let's get all of you back home safe and sound."

Roof Across the Street
The prowler's movements were snappy and precise as it moved into position opposite the safe-house, drifting to a halt as the doors snapped open and heavy ropes were deployed from previously hidden winches, the dense things hitting the roof below almost immediately as the team's snowy-haired commander hoped nobody forgot their gloves. It'd be hard to hold a weapon if all the skin had been ripped off your hands during descent.

The roof that Arynn and Kil'nda were dropped on was a fairly flat, standard design for something built by the Neshaten, it featured a lighting rod and a few AC units strewn about. Running around the edge of the roof was a thick concrete lip and the shed they were looking for sat inconspicuously in one corner, the sturdy door held shut by a beefy padlock with a small display on its front.

Safehouse Roof
The breaching team's deployment was executed in a similar fashion, the Captain gripping the rope with gloved hands and hooking his legs around it before letting the planet's heavy gravity pull him down. Leo's lightly armoured figure bounced slightly as his boots hit the ground, immediately gripping his SMG and moving to take a knee before the others followed suit, Cirillo descending shortly afterwards.

"Make sure we're the only ones up here and then find something sturdy to wait behind, team, we're hoping the others can find us a way in but keep your eyes peeled just incase... worst case is that we go in through that skylight," the snowy Daur grunted, indicating to a nearby portal of tempered and reinforced glass before moving to sweep the roof.

Informations Roof

The shed's lock fell quickly, cleanly, and quietly to the cutters Arynn sourced from Kil'nda - given that he was much larger, and stronger than she was, it was a lot easier for him to carry such a thing. She mumbled unintelligibly to herself, oversized ears folding back and twitching as the child stuck her face into the shed - and then sticking half a dozen taps into the wiring inside. A brief bit of fiddling with the screen later, and a portable screen flickered to life, showing the front door's exterior camera feed.

"Getting in was the easy part. Let's get a better look at the situation..."

The Laibe would be able to get a good view of the screen as well, provided that Arynn's ears didn't get in the way (which they unintentionally, often, did...) The largest part of the safehouse, a living room sort of deal, had about half a dozen armed Laibe and a couple of Daur lounging around, occasionally peeking at windows or relocating to a more comfortable bunk bed. Half of them seemed to be asleep, the other half keeping watch and passing the time. Another camera view showed the same room, but half of the view was blocked by a loft - several tied together bodies were clearly the hostages. It seemed that one of them was being interrogated, as a Daur was pointing his SMG directly at the Laibe prisoner's head, and it appeared that they were speaking.

"Seems like half of them are asleep right now. We have two Reds in the loft, looks like all their prisoners are up there. They've overturned some of the bunk beds to get cover from the front door and largest window, as well. I can bust their privacy on command, it'll get their eyes away from your breach points," the fennec Daur's voice was deliberate and calm, her analysis of the main room complete.

The third camera showed two more Laibe investigating a sturdy, metallic door at the bottom of a stairwell - the holdout bunker in the basement. They'd clearly been working it with tools, scorch marks and ugly gouges coating the surface of the bunker - but so far, no real progress. That meant that, thankfully, the gear inside wasn't being stolen. As expected, the fourth camera view lit up the interior of the bunker itself, equipment and weapons neatly packed in holding racks against one wall, with a couple utilitarian boxes of rations and other supplies opposite. Given the bunker was unbreached and built normally, there was nothing here to report.

"There's two more trying to crack the bunker. They're not getting anywhere, but they've made a mess of the door anyways."

Location:Loft
Yuri'no

The handful of terrorists, seeming to get restless, seperately the Laibe from his compatriots. The Daur now attempting to interrogate Yuri'no. His white eyes blinking at the man's demands." Tell us how to get into the door downstairs. Do you really think anyone is coming for you? I'm not terribly patient so start talking." The sub-machinegun pressed against the tall Laibe's forehead. His white eyes now narrowing, surveying the room. The noise of the terrorist drowned out temporarily by his assessment." I'm sorry, did you say something? I don't think you fools understand the predicament you find yourselves in. I think for you, pray the god of Chivalry will grant you a quick end."
The Daur now becoming more agitated, pressing the weapon tighter against Yuri'no's forehead." You've got some nerve, thinking you'll get out of this. Now give us the access codes for the gate. Now!" The others in the room starting to see the agitation in the Fours voice. His breathing becoming more erratic. Hands sweating against the weapon." If all you're looking for is the code. You're out of luck. Killing me won't let you in. So if you want to properly ask me. I might be so inclined." Adjusting to a kneeling position, Yuri'no began to slowly scratch away at his bindings. To hopefully weaken them, for when the time approached. The Daur becoming more Irate, lifted his weapon, striking Yuri'no a cross the face. With a grunt he spat blood looking back at his captor with a fire in his eyes."just you wait." was the last thing that could be made out from the twos conversation.

--Safehouse Roof--

Suzu'ha quickly slid down the rope after her commander and let her feet hit the concrete below, as silently as possible. The longer they stay undetected, the better, for both them and the safety of the hostages.

Lifting her tail for balance, and getting out of the way so the next person could come down, the young Daur was quick to lay low and take out her SMG, her ears scanning the place around. The terrorists were unlikely to leave a possible entrance unwatched, and the captain's next order made it obvious he too, suspected that.

"Roger that, sir." - She replied with a whisper. - "Right behind you."

Following after him, and staying low, the girl kept her SMG in hand, and her blade within reach. She hoped for the terrorists' lack of foreseeing, but if that were not the case, she would be ready.

And so after breaking into the small room and setting up a video link of what was happening inside the safe house, Kil'nda got to work picking out his spots to shoot from. This shed offered some protection but he new it was best to have more then one point to shoot from. Sadly it was a mostly flat roof so there wasn't the best of cover here. He stredies his rifle and looked though the scope running his sights along the building to get used to the target size, let him know hoe far and fast he might need to move his scope. "Well seems weapons will be hot soon." He tells Arynn "If you see one of the targets puts their head somewhere vulnerable just let me know. Sadly this is a safe house they broke into, the walls won't be as thin as most other building especially when it comes to the secure areas like that bunker. Still some of the less secure areas I might be able to punch though."

Safehouse Rooftop
As the operatives carefully fanned out to check the roof Leo busied himself with carefully assessing the only door that lead up onto the roof, gently testing the handle though it didn't falter in the slightest, leading the snowy captain to assume it was barricaded on the other side. They could blow through it, but that'd make the already tight stairwell even more annoying to navigate, going that route would just be asking for trouble.

"Roger that Sher'Meso, Kil'nda, it's clear up here but the door is jammed so listen up team," the Daur spoke as he took a few light-footed steps over the the large, electronically tinted skylight that took center stage in the middle of the roof, taking a moment to glance skyward as Cirillo popped a squat near him.

"If Suzu'ha thinks we have enough explosives then I say she should go lay a loop of shaped charges around the edge of it, there's enough cloud cover at the moment that we shouldn't be backlit so long as we move quickly. It needs to be timed to blow just after Sher'Meso flicks the switch on that electronic tint so that her compatriot has a better line of sight on the hostage takers, that way our big friend with the bigger rifle can provide overwatch and cover our tails, that sound good to you Kil'nda?" Leo began explaining, flicking his smg's fire selector between it's positons a few times with a thoughtful little sniff before continuing.

"Railing should be more than adequate to hold our weight so we attach our ropes to that and drop in once the blast has gone off, we move quick and shoot to kill, wound if possible but the lives of us and the hostages are first and foremost so nothing new there uh... Shit, if there are no questions then the roof team should quickly hook themselves in, Depolanskaya and I will go this side while Cirillo an~" he was cut off by a wave of the shield-bearing Daur's free hand, Cirillo chuckling as he moved across to the team's demolitions expert.

"I gotcha boss, I'll keep an eye on the new girl, let's go do this," Cirillo smirked, Kyet already half way through securing her rigging to the rail before that same quiet fox offered a thumbs up.

Safehouse Rooftop

"Roger that sir, we surely have more than enough for that." - Replied the girl with a smile, kneeling on the floor and taking out her equipment.

After a few seconds of organizing everything around her and observing the skylight the girl got to work, humming quietly to herself and casually waving her tail. Hoping to make the explosion as small and economic as possible, while still retaining maximum efficiency, the young Daur did some quick mental calculations on the ammount of charges necessary and the spacing between them and thus started placing everything on the right spots. To make sure they all blew up at the same time, something absolutely necessary in this case, she also took out a small wire bobbin and attached the charges to each other.

After packing the stuff she didn't use back into her pouch, she took a step back to the side of operator Cirillo and admired her handywork with a smile, hands resting on her hips. With a lenght of rope already resting on her shoulder, and comms ready, she nodded to Commander Leo and contacted the other side. - "Operator Sher'Meso? This is Suzu'ha speaking, everything is in order, we're on standby."

Detonator in hand, she waited for the smallest Daur's word to send it all flying.

Safehouse

There was a small moment of utter silence after the tiny Arynn deactivated the besieged safe-house's electronic tint, the crowd sucking in a collective gasp of shock that turned into chaotic chatter, the hostage-takers inside barely having enough time to register what might be happening before Suzu'ha's gloved hand clacked her detonator's paddle down three times in rapid succession.

As much as the terrorists had thought themselves the kind of professionals to remain vigilant and alert in actually they'd relaxed a little after barricading all entrances and settling in, most of their weapons didn't even have a round in the chamber. In a deafening roar of heat and light the large skylight split in half, the middle section falling down in a mix of finely powdered tempered glass and larger chunks that caused more than a few lacerations to those directly beneath.

"Go go go!" Leo's voice barked out like rolling thunder as a gloved hand flicked his smg-mounted flashlight to its strobe setting, himself and Kyeterinyah kicking off to ride their ropes down with firearms in hand, descending through the layer of smoke like wraiths ready to claim the souls of the damned. The kingdom-fall members were largely caught off guard and disorientated by the maneuver, the individual who'd struck Yuri'no across his face but a moment ago turning to shield his face from the cloud of powdered glass dumped onto him before clumsily racking their weapon's charging handle, turning their back to the hostage and exposing the knife sheathed on their lower back.

Leo's boots were the first to make contact on the loft before the snowy Daur let loose a few bursts of gunfire that quickly downed a brown-furred Laibe and a blonde Daur in the split second it took for Kyet to land on a table next to him, firing down on an extremely disorientated terrorist clad in a leather jacket before snapping her SMG to provide cover for Cirillo and Suzu'ha as they landed.

The shield-bearing, man-bunned Daur took up position ahead of the demolitions expert to help her move in closer, firing off his sidearm in bursts though they were largely to keep the enemies heads down rather than going for kill-shots as he yelled out, "I'll cover you!"

The hostages were trained to expect that something like this would happen though they were largely still trying to process it all too, most staying on their knees or low to the ground to let the Operatives work their magic

Rooftop Across the Street

Arynn would see her camera feeds momentarily glitch and lose their silky-smooth framerate as the breaching charges rattled the building's foundations before it normalized, the two Laibes that had been trying to access the supply cache beneath the building actually being somewhat prepared, and more dangerously in what she'd quickly realize was a blindspot for the breaching teams. Kil'nda would see them too as his sight-lines opened up to provide a mostly unobstructed view of the safehouse through it's now-clear windows, those two laibes fussing with something out of sight before the tell-tale sawnoff barrel of a surplus .50 caliber medium ballistic repeater was hefted up onto the top of the stairs on a small bipod, the two terrorists hurrying to feed a belt of ammo into the chunky reciever.

Kil'nda readied his rifle. "Alright let me know when weapons are free." He comments. "Everyone make sure to tell me your movements I don't want to waste any time second guessing a shot I can take." He then looks to Arynn. "Put in some ear buds, or turn on noise dampening if your helmet has it. This things going to be very loud in here." He warns.

as the Action starts Kil'nda and Ayrnn will be the ones to spot the two with the huge VU1C. It was set up in a great postion to rip some of their team members to shreds, but fortunately the Ammo hadn't been fed yet and Kil'nda took aim and pulled the tigger to end the life of one of the terroists, that was the one feeding the belt in, or trying to, and it was a much harder or at least slower one my job as he pulled back the bolt to ready the next shot meant for the triggerman. "Be advised, hostiles with heavy machine gun on the top of the steps!" He gives out a warning while readying his next kill shot.
