RP: NSS Sledge Mama Ep. 5.5 - I Hear You Like Cats?

It had been a boring day so far.

At least it was, right up until they entered the cafeteria and watched a man fly across the room, skipping off a table like a pebble off a pond. The bald ID-SOL that tossed him bellowed, but a bottle of hot sauce was immediately smashed across his face.

"AAAAAH! MY EYES! THEY BUUUUUUUURN!" Screaming, the blinded soldier flailed his arms about in rage, knocking friend and foe aside. Marines everywhere were caving eachother's faces in with their fists, while others used their cybernetic arms like massive clubs to beat down their enemies. As the doors sealed, locking behind the squad, a massive meatloaf came out of nowhere and collided with the side of Richard's face, sending him tumbling into Jaime. As both fell to the floor in the confusion, a salty looking veteran with a scar across his throat pointed right at Sawyer and Alec.

"Get them!" Picking up a durandium tray, the marine charged them, his face curled up into a vicious snarl full of absolute hate and swung as hard as he could.

Sawyer would sigh as the man swung at him, moving to avoid it as he pivoted on his organic right leg and lashed out with his cybernetic left leg. The inscriptions on his leg, having been hand engraved over the past few years were those of a flight of dragons with the words Solem Fero And Semper Fidelis written under them. His kick would be aimed at the man's stomach and if it was a miss he'd shift and aim for his leg.

"Really?" Stripe exclaimed in a frustrated manner. "Aren't we supposed to have a little more... I don't know, maturity or something?" He finished as he dived out of the way before grabbing a table and flipping it at the nearest threat.

Jamie was able to keep both himself and Richard barely from completely falling to the ground. "So much for a quiet day." and smiled so anyone could see. He then flexed his robotic right arm, which under the cafeteria light clear showed his wartime inscription of "BLONDIE." He began to walk over to help Sawyer. He was ready for a fight, but kinda felt the urge to hit something really, really hard as well.

"Surely we can-" Alec started to reason before noticing the tray and look of pure rage on it's wielder's face, then Sawyer sending a kick towards the attacking marine. "Well darn." He muttered as he turned and bounded up on top of another near-by table before jumping up and towards the attacker, bring both fists down towards him.

Richard stumbled back against Jamie when he was struck in the face, but it only too him a a moment to realize the situation and wipe his clean of the meat. "Oh hell no they didn't." He sounded pretty angry, but not so much that he was enraged. With a quick glance around he looked for maying anyone who was leading in all this as he stepped aside form the man with the tray, letting Alec and Sawyer handle that.

His head cool, Sawyer dodged the attack and sent his cybernetic leg into the opposing marine.

Colliding with him like a battering ram, spittle flew out of the man's mouth as he was completely winded and sent reeling from the blow before landing on the floor. However, the fight was far, far from over. Off to the side, Stripe's arms flexed with all the power he could muster, arms bulging as his veins popped. Both arms moved with speed and power, but stopped cold as the impact ran through his palms and down his body. With the table locked down to prevent both impacts from combat and angry marines from turning it into a lethal projectile, he had made the most anti-climatic table flip in history, and unfortunately for him, his luck was quickly running thin in this melee.

"Hey, over here!' The moment Stripe turned, a fist collided with the side of his face, sending him stumbling back but not out of the fight. A lithe woman with bubblegum pink dyed hair and equally pink glowing cyber-eyes was bearing down on him, but acting fast, Alec leaped at her instead. Seeing the massive wind-up from the corner of her eye however, she easily got out of the way and delivered a rapid fire one-two punch into his ribs. Pain burst from his side as he felt something pop out of place, then pop right back as the woman darted right at him again. Swinging at her with a fist, she leaped back, the instinctive counter buying both of them a moment of breathing space as her cyber-eyes darted back and forward between the two of them. Though Richard searched for any possible leader in this brawl, his eyes set on something that made his stomach drop as Sawyer and Jaime got ready to help the others.

A deep, ominous voice didn't draw, but Demanded their attention.

"Ah, more meat." Looming over them like a colossus, a muscle bound ID-SOL with vicious claw marks across his scalp stepped right over the first marine that had assaulted them, slowly striding closer and closer towards the three. "Since you guys think a cat is fine too, I'm going to get reaaaaal friendly with the three of you!" With oppressive strength, a massive fist swung at all of them at once with all the reach and power of a mace.

Sawyer would dash to the side, aiming to get out of the swing of the man's massive arm and then if he was able to dodge he'd attempt to lash with his leg as hard as he could, the cybernetic one that is, at the back of the ID-Sol's kneecap, aiming for a disabling strike on him. "I really hate winding up in fights like this" he'd mutter to himself.

"What are you talking about?! We just got here seconds before the cafeteria was locked down!" Stripe called out as he decided to try and confuse the ID-SOL. He kept an eye on Pinkie, prepared to either counter or take advantage if she attacked Alec.

Jaime jumped back to avoid, and barely was able to maintain stance when he slipped on some sort of boot-smashed ration. He gave a dirty smile and laughed, "Shit, if I didn't get enough thrown at me if the war!" He looked at Sawyer as he moved and took the time to keep the ID-SOL's mind off of him, He picked up the ration that he had slipped on and threw it towards the colossus, hoping that if he did get him of Sawyer, he'd get him down before he had another metal limb to tell war stories with.

As soon as the fists impacted into his ribs, Alec keeled over and hit the deck with a thud. As much as wanted to lay there and regret his dive, there was brawl still going on and an ID-SOL barreling swing towards him and friends. Luckily the deck had been slick enough from all the rations thrown around, giving him enough slickness to slide himself out of the war and under another table to hide and maybe ambush the ID-SOL and totally not cry about the sudden punches to the ribs.

When the ID-SOL approached Richard sighed, his words made it pretty easy to understand what was going on. They didn't get caught in something random it was likely about their assisting Yamatai, so there was no need to hold back. He couldn't overpower an ID-SOL but he wasn't going to back down either. Instead of stepping back to avoid his fist Richard rushed in to get past it and then dove at the large man, but not at his chest, he aimed higher trying to headbutt him in the face along with the tackle to topple him. He of course couldn't just knock him down and stay there so he followed up with a few punches to the face as he tried to get up before he could get a hold of him.

The marines stuck to what they knew best - attack, attack, attack! Sawyer moved fast, dodging the giant's attack and swung his cybernetic leg in fast and hard. The colossus was no fool however, and pivoted just enough - the strike hit right at the back of the ID-SOL's knee and send him toppling, his hand grabbing onto Sawyer's leg as he did so.

"Ha!" Just as he shouted in victory, the remains of some shit on a shingle sailed out of Jaime's hand and spectacularly splattered across his face. The slurry of soggy bread, white sauce and salted meat landed with a thick, sickening 'Splock!', a sound completely unnatural to the order of the universe and blinded the ID-SOL. "Aw, sonofa!" Still clutching Sawyer by his cyber-leg, he casually tossed the marine away like a ragdoll, sending him over just a half-dozen feet before wiping his face down with one of his massive hands. Only to have Richard's thick head collide against his own, breaking his nose and sending blood flowing down his face. A meaty arm immediately swatted Richard back out of reflex as the ID-SOL bellowed in rage. "Mother-fucker! You're not going to be able to walk after I'm done with you!" Trying to get back on his feet again, the Colossus had no time or attention to what Stripe said in the slightest.

But that didn't mean someone else didn't hear.

"Eyes forward! You know what this is about you cat fucker!" the pink-haired marine yelled at him. Coming at him like a hurricane, a flurry of blows started to pummel Stripe as she went straight for him. From his position under the table, Alec watched as she literally started sending Stripe's defense into his own face, striking his arms hard enough that he started punching himself. "Why you hitting yourself? Why you hitting yourself?!" she yelled at the increasingly disorientated marine, her feet dancing just within reach of Alec.

"Why you so interested in who I fuck, if you want to join just ask you bitch!" Stripe snapped angrily as he head butted and kneed her simultaneously in a fit of ill-conceived, spastic, angry blows. A part of him had a feeling of ominous doom, as he realized what he said... and how screwed he was. And NOT in a good way.

Jaime stepped back from the action, taking a hard look at the surroundings. Counting the guys he knew, he had two up, one being assaulted, and...he looked for Alec and saw him under a nearby table. Jaime then decided to attempt to incapacitate the ID-SOL even more to try and end this fiasco. He jumped on the table next to the colossus and grabbed a tray, but he didn't attack. He looked at the carnage above and jumped back to the floor. He instead began walking towards Strip's new friend to help him.

Alec was just about to dive out and go straight for a tackle at her legs before seeing Stripes knee and diving back under. He silently cursed himself as he withdrew before an idea popped in his head. He reached out and quickly wrapped both his hands around one of her ankles before yanking her leg under, knowing that even if the worst happens, he'd at least be taking the heat long enough Stripe to do something.

Hopefully.

Richard was thrown back by the large hand, but braced himself to not lose his footing. He knew that taking down an ID-Sol was no going to be easy, he could only aim for a few spots but it didn't look like he or the others were going to be allowed to just walk out. He quickly made a move around the large man as he tried to get up, staying out of arm's reach. One he had his back he dived in again and went straight for his neck, trying to get him in a choke hold.

As the ID-Sol grabbed his leg and tossed him Sawyer's only reaction would be to mutter "Shit" as he went flying through the air. He'd hit the ground with a break fall and roll back to his feet, charging back at the downed ID-Sol and aiming a cybernetically enhanced kick to the man's head, aiming to knock him out by punting him in the temple.

In this rough and tumble fight, Richard took the giant's flailing backhand but kept on his feet. He wanted to end this fight fast, and just as he guessed, he only had a few windows to get his shots in; and they were closing fast. Sawyer came in and held it from slamming shut! Heart pumping like a jackhammer, adrenaline lighting his blood on fire, the marine clambered out from a pile of salad like a wildman bursting from the bushes to deliver a kick right to the temple. The ID-SOL was no fool and guarded with his arm, but a bellow of pain came bursting out of the super soldier as the first blow landed hard. Richard leaped through the window of opportunity Sawyer had kept open, and immediately wrapped his arm around the colossal man's neck. Despite the muscles in his neck tensing like steel cords, the two mortal men could feel it - they could win this!

The table. It was being flipped.

As Stripe warded off the repeated blows from the Pink haired marine, a flash of silver came out of nowhere! With a resounding 'klonnngk!~' the furious flurry of fists from the pink demoness paused as Jaime took the weapon to the back of her head. Dazed, Alec saw his chance and grabbed at one of the fast moving kickboxer's legs from under the table. With so many men on her at once, she practically melted as Stripe relentlessly pounded at her, a breathless moan escaping from her lips as the other marine below held her down. Unable to dodge, she could do nothing but take it as he passionately shouted at her.

And immediately regretted what he said.

As Sawyer kicked away at the ID-SOL's defense, Richard felt a huge, meaty hand reach around and grab him by the back of his uniform. The colossus had reached around and simply tore him off like a helpless child before simply shoving Sawyer over in between one of his powerful kicks. His other hand lashing out, the ID-SOL horrifyingly grasped the marine by the cyber-leg and casually stood up as though nothing in the world was wrong, holding them both up in the air like caught rabbits. Briefly tossing Richard up, he was suddenly snatched from mid-air, now held by the ankle as well. The two of them captive, the ID-SOL's hands held fast, pinkies out as he carried them over to the other half of the squad's fight. Though Stripe could see him coming, Jaime could not, and instead thought he felt a gun pressed up against his back.

"Don't worry, I'm just very tall," the ID-SOL began in his deep, baritone voice. It was then that they all realized that the cafeteria had gone completely quiet, with every single pair of eyes on them. The pink haired marine wiped blood from her lips and took a few steps back to give them room. "Now, I just thought I'd take a drink of the rumor mill's brew to get a good workout...but what did you say? Did...did you really do it with a cat?" He asked Stripe, both Sawyer and Richard falling to the ground in the process.

While they had flipped the table, the ID-SOL had flipped the car instead.

"Um... unless one of my 'friends'" and here he glared at his comrades suspiciously "-spiked my drink with something nasty, I'd say hell no. Why, looking for recommendations? This chick is feisty, evil, and... Well, actually a really good fighter." he finished, looking slightly self-conscious. "She's still a bitch."He added, giving her a half-hearted kick.
