Episode 4 (GM Cinematic)-Warmakers II

Misato forced a smile as she looked at Kiyoko from across the command level of the Akuro III's bridge. She looked down at her hands, the dried odd colored blood on them had already begun to dry and crack; it was just the beginning of the mess smeared across her now torn Star Army uniform. She glanced at the main projection and although the ship they moved away from was now too far to see, she knew still what it was. The traitorous Chujo pushed herself from the chair and said quietly, "It has been a while since I got some sleep. I should probably get some." She walked across the bridge and bowed before Kiyoko who was still perched in the command chair, the blood still smeared across her tattered Peacekeeper uniform as well. Misato leaned in and kissed Kiyoko lightly, "Join me when you're tired..." she said and then turned and headed towards the lift as Kiyoko just smirked and waved her off, almost like it was a taunt she didn't have the guts to do what they had just done.

Misato glanced briefly towards her sister Fumiko, she paused in her steps but said nothing as they stared at one another. Misato forced another smile and nodded, "Goodnight." She left the bridge and the lift doors closed behind her. As it traveled through the decks of the massive flagship, Misato pushed back against the outer wall of the lift car, her body trembled as tears poured from her eyes and cascaded down her cheeks.

"Kat..." she whispered to herself. "Oh...Kat, don't come out here. Don't come..." she begged as if Katsuko could hear her across the light-years that now separated them. The things she had seen, what her hands had helped do that day was too much even for her. The traitor regretted her decision to leave the comfortable life that Katsuko had given her, that she had earned and could have stayed in only had she not decided to listen to the calls of her sisters. That madwoman, that creature that she had just kissed goodnight was something even worse than when they had parted ways before. She stared at the dried blood on her hands through the distorted lens of her tears. she propped herself up against the lift and only moved again when the lift doors opened. She passed a few of the other members of the Tange on her way down the corridor, she meant to say something but nothing came out. She sucked it all in and held her breath in her chest as she walked down the corridor towards her assigned quarters. She couldn't even look them in the eye.

An hour later, as Tange Nao drifted down the corridor towards her sister's quarters she stopped in her tracks. The flash of a Mugen E1 could be seen through the partially open doors ahead of her. The sound of the shot echoed through the corridor which had everyone on the deck armed and out of their berths. Nao stood just outside of the forced open, slightly parted doors. The headless body of Misato laid back on the bed, fallen just how gravity and the force of the shot had pulled her. Her blood dripped down the spartan walls of the ship, brains scattered in meaty chunks all over the place along with fragments of her cranium and jaw. The body still twitched in the bed, a breached hole through the inner wall of the room had scorch marks around it.

Nao screamed it echoed through the halls of the almost empty ship. She stepped forward and the doors parted the rest of the way and tried to close again on the box that had been wedged between them. Nao stared at her dead sister, the leader of the Tange that had been apart from them for so long and was now dead and by her hand. "What happened? What happened on that ship today? ...What did Kiyoko do?" she questioned quietly as she motioned their other sisters to remain back from the body. On the bed next to Misato was a datapad, Nao lurched forward and grabbed it quickly and tucked it under her peacekeeper jacket just as Kiyoko and Fumiko arrived on the scene. She had managed to catch a single phrase before she had tucked it away 'Don't trust her, she will kill you all...' she backed away from the body as Kiyoko barged into the room and demanded to know what had happened.

The distance between the Akuro III and the Mishhuvurthyar ship where everything had happened grew and the Akuro regained its Kuvexian escorts, the Baron Gello Kordoon wanted to protect the ship that would soon be his. The deal that Kiyoko had made was unbeatable, and soon the massive resources of the Outer Colonies of Yamatai would be his as well.
