Each day grows shorter and the air becomes cold and wet. An orange moon hangs huge in the sky, casting its eerie light on bare trees and crinkling brown leaves that dance along the ground. The dead threads of the past are restless, and seek to walk among the living once again...
Now is the time to raise these dead threads from their festering reaches of the forum's older pages using the the dark arts of THREAD NECROMANCY.
Those who dig up the most thoughtful discussions will surely earn the gratitude.
Rules of the event:
- Post a thoughtful reply to any discussion thread that was started over 3 years ago (October 2017 or earlier) to revive the thread.
- Setting discussion or "on topic" threads about Star Army are preferred but these can also be old approved submissions that need updates.
- Don't bump old RP threads.
- Only one post per topic counts.
- Avoid one-liners. Spammy posts may not be counted at the staff's discretion.
- Contest ends at Midnight EST on October 30th and winners will be announced October 31st.
- Staff members (with yellow banners) may participate but cannot win the prizes. The prize will go to the next highest-posting regular member. FMs and GMs are not counted as staff and can win.
- The first five participants with over 20 posts necro'd will receive a free Star Army patch mailed to them upon request (NSMC or Hinomaru) - must be claimed by the end of November.
- The winner will get to submit a character to Wes to get character art for with a value up to $50.
