During the briefing earlier, Katsuko blinked while droning on about the specifics of their objectives. Suddenly she had dismissed everyone, she and the XO leaving promptly. Before entering the lift, Akina turned. "You have shore leave for forty-eight hours. Do not leave the fleet." before they were gone.

The YSS Hikari, an Ecstasy class recreation vessel, had arrived in the repair interval of the vast fleet, and was already open for business. Akina and Katsuko quickly changed into civilian attire after quick showers, and an hour or two later departed on a shuttle for the vessel. Katsuko had her hair up with chopsticks, and wore a dark purple spaghetti strap top, coming short of her midrift, exposing her stomach and jewelry. Her skirt was a light black. She sat with her legs crossed in the empty shuttle, next to Akina. The Taisa wore a slightly longer skirt, her hair held together down her back by light blue ribbons. She wore a light blue top, with three buttons down the front. Her stomach was not as nearly exposed, a slight hint of flesh apparent. She wore black pants, with a sliver linked belt. Her only other set of civilian clothes. The red twinkle of her nose stud shone in the artificial light of the shuttle.

Aoiko had, at the time, been slightly disconcerted regarding the abrupt dismissal, but she was certainly not about to complain about it. An hour later found her in a white blouse and a black ankle-length skirt, on shuttle to the Hikari. Idly, she paged through a small book catalogue, marking down new releases to look for.

Corro however remained behind as the rest of the crewmen looked forward to the excursion to the newly arrived Ecstasy-class. Inside the main powered armor bay of the Kasairyuu wing, Corro sorted through data pads on each of his underlings. Off and on he would think of returning to his room and readying for a trip to the Hikari, but he needed work to be done. He was one of the only people sitting inside the quiet armor bay.

Around the fleet, many were being given some time off, however not all time on the Hikari, and few unlimited hours to go to it. To avoid crowding, most were sent in shifts. Katsuko had made certain those at the briefing and on certain bridge shifts were given unlimited access, letting the operations command take care of the specifics.

Ziv was rather shocked to hear about the leave when he had just arrived, so he decided to use his time to get settled and get acquainted with the ship. After getting all his things arranged, he decided he should try to find his superior officer, Corro Adlich. "AI, please direct me to the power armor bay."

"Please enter the nearest lift. Your quarters were assigned near it for easy deployment." came the response. It seemed that the KAMI was still in default after it's reboot. The halls in the enlisted areas were abuzz with some in uniform and others in the only civvies they owned, 'visiting' each other, and getting ready to leave for the Hikari.

Jaq Stood up and stretched his arms and thought of what to do. He finally decided to walk down to the armor bay and see what his new suit would be. Then he would take so time of on that 'ecstasy ship' in the fleet. Maybe play some Cards meet some new people. But generally have a good time. He left the briefing room and started for the armor bay.

She had been pondering this idea on and off since she saw the leader of the Kasairyuu there at the briefing. She wanted to introduce herself since when she was ordered to the ship, she was also placed under his command. So there she stood, in the lift descending to the armor hanger, one arm raised and resting on the other as she stroked her chin, hidden under the curtain of silver-white hair. Her inner debate was paused slightly when another person entered the lift with her. "One of the others who just recently arrived," she surmised silently to herself. Sparing the slightest of motions in greeting, Camellia went back to her thoughts.

Caine kicked off the wall her was leaning on in the corridor and groaned, he didn't like the idea of having free time so early; but he felt it might be best if he took it. He adjusted his uniform and headed for the door passing a couple other uniformed officers and went to his old room and got his stuff and moved to the Kasairyuu wing of the quarters and sighed. "At least I can get my sister's something." he said to himself and headed to the Hikari after putting his rucksack in a corner and checked his card for cash. Thankfully he had enough. The Half-Elf Yamataian started for the Ecstasy ship after that.

Katsuko and Akina arrived in due time to the Hikari, a relief to the pilot, who sank in her chair after they stepped off into one of the many cavernous bays on the Hikari. They had landed on Rapture deck eight, and their eyes adjusted to the ambient lighting of the city simulation when they arrived on a main 'street' the impeccable detail was impressive, save how much more clean it was. There were people in mostly civilian clothing, some being in their uniforms. The calls of merchants could be heard as lights lined the careless streets. "Let's go to a club, Aki!" Katsuko grabbed her hand, leading them both further into the district.

Aoiko glanced up as she stepped into the streets of the Hikari, almost expecting to see the night sky. Shaking her head slightly, she stepped over to one of the pillars bearing a map of the deck, noting down all the bookstores and clothing boutiques she wanted to visit and planning out the least efficient, most roundabout way of getting to each of them. Her next few hours planned, she happily set out down the rows of merchants.

"That's it." Corro said angrily and slammed the data pad in his hand down on the crate he was sitting next to. The silence in the room was broken by the contact sound, but it quickly returned. "I'm going and there's not a soul in the universe that will stop me. Not even if the Emperor himself asked me to advise him on something." With that said Corro abruptly turned around and began walking to the lift at the far end just as it was opening.

"Thank you, AI." Ziv made his way to the nearby lift, hardly noticing the silver-haired woman already standing in the lift. She nodded to him, and he barely had the thought to return the gesture, so his action seemed rather hurried and sporadic. When the lift made it down to the bay, the doors opened to reveal an officer heading hurriedly towards him.

Jaq had been in the Lift with the two other enlistees when the doors opened and he saw Coro charging the door. "Hello Sir I have something to ask you about before you leave!" Draco squeezed beside the man in front of the door and started to walk towards Corro.

Camellia was silent as the others made their way out of the lift towards the wing commander. She regarded this action with a little trepidation, as she made her way out as well, keeping quiet and to the side as the others made their parley. When they were finished, she took a step forward and raised her left hand to the edge of her brow in salute. "Greeting. I am Camellia Sarri, I have just recently arrived, and would like to say what an honor it is to be a member of the Kasairyuu. I will not let you down. Sir." She finished with a click of her boot heels as she stood at ready. Her silver hair still draped over half her face.

Caine reached the Hikari and looked around hoping ot find a directory to find the shopping district of the rapture floor. "Hmm computer, where could I find places to shop at? Is there a district for it or are they spread about the floor?" He asked the AI.

A far too chipper voice assaulted Caine from a lone console nearby. "Hello sir! Welcome to the Hikari! There are many many places to shop all over me! On rapture deck eight, there is a fine casino, and many shops. Please query for other rapture deck information, tee hee!"

"Alright, thank you computer." he said and looked around for a way up other than a lift preferring to take the stairs if there were any but if not, oh well. Caine looked around some and took a short walk to stretch his body out popping a bit.

Ugh. This day was just not going well. He'd meant to get some work done in the armor bays, but lo and behold, just as he approached the flight deck, his lift suddenly ground to a halt, and a buzzer began to wail, indicating an electrical error. "Good gods... who did I piss off today?" The ship's electrical system must have still been reeling from the attack; lord knew he'd have a difficult enough time fixing the whole thing by now. Realizing that with the majority of the crew heading off to leave, his lift calls would go unnoticed, he sighed and flipped open the access panel. It would take another hour and some of Roger's dirtiest electrical jerry-rigging, but eventually, the lift slowly descended the additional half flight needed, and popped open its doors. Standing in the bay were a number of other personnel, mostly from the bridge meeting he noticed.

He quickly recognized Cadet Adlich, he made due haste to introduce himself. "Cadet Adlich! Santo Hei Kard reporting, sir, I was told to meet with you to set up maintenance ops on your armors, sir."

Jatsu went to the transport bay and requested transport to the Hikari. Well, now that I finally have a break I should do some shopping, he thought. I wouldn't mind having my own personal computer, and maybe I can find some parts to enhance this arm. A shuttle was filling rapidly with many NH-17 from the Akuro, and a deckhand next to the hatch beckoned Jatsu to climb on board, shutting the hatch behind him as it lifted off towards the rearguard vessel, it's observation deck pointed to the darkness of space.

Katsuko soon got her wish, as the pair entered a simple looking five story structure, with a large and flashy sign reading "Pink Nova" above it's two massive doors. Inside the club, they set their small purses on a table lining the very large. There were NH-17's all about, eying each other, and the pair in the dim lights. Trance music thumped loudly, and at least half of the soldiers on that floor of the club were dancing over the flashing multi-colored dancefloor. Beyond that, the slight clatter of glasses were heard from the bar and various tables, as staffers wandered to and fro.

He was being assailed on all sides. Jaq rushed forward to meet him head on, while another young woman from the briefing earlier began to introduce herself. For behind he heard another voice rushing to meet him and introduce himself. I'll kill them. I'll kill them all. No one but the AI would know. The AI likes me right? He looked around warily with both hands on the sides of his head. His face went bright red as he started to growl. "Shut up, all of you!" He quickly grabbed each one by their arms and began pushing them into the lift before him. "In, in, in, in!" With the last crewmember inside the lift he pushed himself in and keyed in his level. "Ok, not a word about who you are or what you need until we're back from leave." He grumbled as he looked over the group, his face still flush.

Ziv was nearly knocked off balance as his superior shoved him back into the lift he had just stepped off of. He was speechless as he glanced around to see the reactions of the others on the lift with him. A slight sound of disbelief slipped from his mouth unknowingly as he wondered what to do now.

"So let me guess sir... We all going to go Hit the Pub?!" Jaq ask with a smirk on his face and hoping the answer was yes.

Camellia made a slightly sour look, though her drapery of hair masked most of it. "I detest spirits." She muttered in a slightly dank tone. "I also just arrived. I do not need rest."

"Hey, I could always use a drink... and maybe I can actually light up a damn cigarette without having someone point a gun in my face."

"That is not likely." the disconnected voice of KAMI echoed in the lift. "It is also a YSA vessel, I suggest you take a program for it.Â

>ON YSS-HIKARI 5th Fleet Esctasy Ship- "Dont eat styrofoam peanuts."

The day wore on aboard the Hikari, as traffic to and from the massive vessel increased between the rapture decks and docking rings. All over the fleet several passes to the Ecstasy class were being activated, while others returned from their own time off. Each deck bustled with its own kind of activity, and the permanent vendors and crew were glad to finally be underway providing the fleet. The Cityscape deck was still blanketed in darkness, lit up here and there by eye catching signs. Inside the Pink Nova Katsuko and her XO enjoyed the music, their drinks, and the special effects on the floor.

Corro lead Mishima through the lift and into the Hikari's 4th deck. As the rolling plains came into site, Corro breathed a sigh of relief. Having not lead his date astray or gotten lost. "Shall we?" Corro smiled at the Neko and pointed to a path near the lift entrance.

As the docking shuttle clicked into place with the Hikari, Roger gave a new whistle and turned to his two compatriots. "There's quite a bit of... well, everything here. I'm impressed it all manages to support itself." He shrugged lightly. "Right then. Where's this particular watering hole you had in mind, Jaq?"

Mishma nodded as they entered a lift currently blinking "4", with three other passengers. They would arrive to the country plains soon.

Jaq hopped out of the craft and replied: "Well you know I've been wanting to see the beach recently!" flicking his bright shirt. "So why don't we just go to that deck and hang out at one of those Ocean front cantinas if they have 'em!?"

Camellia followed calmly behind Jaq and Roger. She was quietly reading a small pocket book that had the words "Des Lorelei" on the cover. Looking up slightly from her reading, Camellia sighed audibly and resumed her reading, intending on following, but not really interacting.

Katsuko, ordered a purple haze from one of the waiters who had been ordered to take care of her and Aki's needs while they were at the bar. "Ma'am I don't know what a purple haze is..." Katsuko frowned and said "It is blue caraco with lemon soda and a splash of grenadine, simple really..." she gave a weak smile and slinked back in her chair, her arm falling loosely over her exposed midriff. " Figure another drink and we can go hit up some of the stores. I need some new outfits." She was exhausted yet refused to show it. She had yet to rest a single wink after all that had happened. The waiter brought her drink, and asked Akina "Anything more for you Taisa?"

"Something settling. Rum and cola, please." the Red haired woman nodded to the attendant. "They really did a good job here." she smiled. "Allright, then. I think rapture deck one is the promenade, love." she squeezed her hand on Katsuko's thigh again, happy to have time to themselves finally.

Corro casually tried to remain still while in the lift. But his impatience go the better of him. He shifted his weight from his right foot to his left and back again. He let out a small sigh as he finished. He gave Mishima's hand a gentle squeeze before looking at her with a smile. He brought his free hand up to head and scratched the back of his head. "Heh..." he shut his eyes smiled weakly at her. "Pretty quiet ride?" He started trying to ease his tension.

As soon as the double doors opened, the pair strode through a softly lit passage. As it widened, a door closed behind them, and the brightly lit plains of the countryside within the Hikari opened with the doors. A moderate breeze met them as they stepped onto the dirt road. There were buildings lining a dirt and gravel pedestrian road. All around there were trails leading off to pastures and rolling hills in the sunny area, the simulated white clouds road by leisurely.

The waiter rushed off to get Akina's drink and returned with it. The music changed to a slightly more upbeat song, the light patterns flickering in a different pattern. Katsuko smiled, welcoming the touch of her love.

Rog nodded. "Sounds good to me, though I'm not a huge fan of anything drinking anything with an umbrella in it." He paused for a second, and pondered what exactly he'd order when the time came. Save that for later, Rog. "All right then, lead on Jaq, and heavens help us if I get stuck in another saggy lift."

Jaq Hussled over to one of the info kiosk like spires and found the lift he was looking for and started off to the lift with the other's in tow. "You know you can get bourbon or vodka or any of the normal drinks there... but they might still be an umbrella in there for fun! Now lets hurry up so much to do so little time.... and by so much i mean lounging around." Jaq knew the joke wasn't that good but he thought he could get a good laugh.

Following behind like a shadow, Camellia made her first real sound since they arrived. "You're comedy needs work. a lot of work Jaq." She muttered while still reading her mini-book.

"Well your social skills need improvement from what I've been seeing!" Jaq retorted.

"My social skills need no work, since I find socializing to be a waste." She countered, while flipping a page.

"My drinking skills need improvement and there's only one way to practice, now come on, let's get moving. I've got blood that needs thinning."

Jatsu walked down all the aisles of the electronics store a number of times, yet still couldn't decide what he wanted. Damnit, what can I buy here to enhance my arm? If I don't find something in the next 5 minutes, I'm just gonna leave and try out my new computer, he thought.

"Then Riddle me this.... why are you following Us? you are following us to go drink...." Jaq said with a slight tone of annoyance.

"I never said I was going to socialize, did I?" She muttered again, while still reading.

Katsuko's left pointer finger tickled at back of Akina's ear We should book a room on the Hikari for the night, after shopping and return to the Akuro in the morning. Katsuko needed an excuse to get off the Akuro for a night, and this seemed as good as any. Maybe she had a chance of a restful night without dreams of giant bugs or what would now no doubt be the hordes of rebel forces. Katsuko was always tortured by her dreams, and they were never cheerful. With her free hand she took a sip of the Purple haze enjoying the playful burn of the alcohol on her throat.

"Less talky, more walky..." Rog said desperately, "...and for that matter, what ARE you reading?

"Des Lorelei." She muttered, looking up and showing the cover."It's about water nymphs that drag men to their doom on a river called 'The Rine."

"Personally I like "The Aneseas" but hey different people different books!" Jaq responded in a softer tone.

"Jeez, that's harsh... what did they do that prompted them to drown their admirers, as I can but guess they were?"

"This is an interesting book really." She muttered while flipping across a few pages. "Very well written."

Yes, we can probably get a big discount on deck eleven. There's supposed to be a really nice one or two up there. she thought back, gulping the dark liquid in her glass. Whenever you're ready. she squeezed Kat's thigh again as she thought it. I have a huge list of things, and I hear they've some enhanced jewelry with them, too. Unless you wanted me to stretch the torso of more of your clothes when I borrow them? she smirked as she sipped her drink again, and set it down, looking to the Admiral.

Corro's breath was taken away by the sights of the colorful plains and clouds rolling over the sky. "I would have never..." He said quietly, his voice drifting off as his mind seemed to wander. Taking in the natural countryside was a whole new experience for the Nepleslian; growing up with nothing but concrete and steel surrounding him. He let himself be moved where Mishima wanted to go but, for the moment he seemed dazzled. "This looks incredible! I never knew the countryside could look this wonderful in person." He turned his head to Mishima. "Well, it doesn't compare to how wonderful you look."

Mishima laughed with a comical snort or two. "Oh, you're sweet. What do you want to go to, big mister cadet?" she poked him with one hand, inhaling deeply.

"You tell me how that goes, Jaq, between the technical documents of you guys' armor, " he said, pointing to the two of them, "and the bazillion engineering change requests that have been made on them, I've barely got room on my shelf for a book, never mind my schedule."

Kat nodded getting up from the table, she said to Akina "Come on, lets get some shopping done..." she reached an arm out in Akina's direction. Giving a nod to the waiter who closed out their tab and sent the bill back to her desk on the Akuro so she could take care of it later. "Drinks were on me..." she winked waiting for Akina to join her and go to the shops.

"Well it's an ancient story about A man and his family that are in a city under siege by a larger more powerful union of states and as the city falls him and his son and Father and flee the burning city and it is the story of how they find a new home and create a greater civilization that one day conquers the states that besieged the city and retook the city and rebuilt it. It is in the form of an epic poem and quite fun to read" Jaq explained

Roger raised a brow. "...I meant Des Lorelei, Jaq. I've at least heard of the Aenead, but you know what? That's all right. Right now, I am noticing a suspicious lack of boozahol in my vicinity. As propose we fix this, and worry about details later."

Jatsu walked out of the electronics store thinking, Screw this, I'm wasting my time. I've had no problems with a normal arm...well, until it got blasted off, anyway...still, a normal cybernetic arm will serve just as well. He started walking back toward the transport bay, but spotted Jaq and Roger on his way back. Well, I never really got a chance to thank Jaq for taking me to the medical bay...and the only time I spent with my roommate was a minute on the elevator. I guess taking a couple minutes to say hi wouldn't hurt. He walked over to the group and said, "Hey, guys. What's up?"

"Hoi, roomie!" Roger said upon recognition of Jatsu. "Not much, not much, we're just heading to some crazy cantina Jaq here seems to want to try out; interested?"

"I more or less described the jist of the book, Roger." Camellia muttered while slipping the book inside her jacket. "Besides the Main point of Des Lorelei is about the power the Rine holds within it. the nymphs are just a metaphor." She said with a half shrug.

Roger snapped over to Cam, confused, "No, wait, I meant... Jaq could tell me how well it read... oh lords, never mind."

"Wait wait wait Jat!" Jaq walked over and knocked on his arm and heard the twang of steel. "I knew it they butchers your arm! but I bet you like this one better! But hey come hang with us we are going to the beach!"

"Well raise my rent; I'm not the only poor shmuck with a mech replacement." Roger added, punching Jat in the cybernetic arm. "What mods have you got for it?"

"Hmm...last time I got drunk, I woke up alone in the bathroom in the middle of a mutiny. But what are the odds of that happening again? Sure, I'll join," Jatsu said to Roger. I guess I'll have to break this baby in later, I just can't pass up a chance to drink, he thought. He looked to Jaq, then said, "Yeah, it's pretty nice. I was looking for some parts to enhance it, but couldn't find anything."

Akina smiled, and took Katsuko's hand with her left, picking her purse up as she left. "Let's hit the lift." she said aloud in the din, as they exited into the cool night of the street for a lift. All sorts of things down there. Oh, we'll find a console to contact deck 11 while we're there. she thought in a small string to the other Yamataian.

Corro laughed deeply as he recoiled from Mishima's jab. "Well then, since it appears that I am being the guide." He returned as he gave Mishima a light poke of his own with his left hand. "We should go this way." He turned around in one complete rotation before coming to a stop and pointed down a path that lead into the hills, away from the small civilization. "Shall we?" He smiled as he offered her his hand took to a half step forward.

"Great!" the Nekovalkyrja laughed. "Did you divine that location from stellar cartography?" she smirked, placing her smaller hand in Corro's, deftly intertwining her fingers with his. They walked on the small two abreast trail, as the path crunched beneath their feet before turning to fine dirt.

"Could that be," Roger stated as the group approached the beach section, "could that be... it could be!" Sighting the bar craftily disguised as a woven straw shack, he gave a whoop. "All right, vital question, the first. Table or bar? We'll be able to talk better at a table... well, some of us will... but the bar is closer to the vital fluids. Votes, please?"

"I say Table! but that's only if none of you want to just get waited on at the water front.." was Jaq reply Roger as he look out into the distance over the 'sea'.

Camellia glanced at Roger for a second, before shaking her head and muttering, "table." She then left the group and sat at an unoccupied table near the bar.

"I say we pull some stools into a circle by the bar. That way we get the best of both worlds," Jatsu said. "We can talk AND be right next to the supply."

Katsuko held Akina close as they moved through the street and into the lift. "Promenade Deck..." Katsuko told the AI who responded with "As you wish...visit the Kinky Hut Sex Toy Shop, Where the deals are orgasmic..." Katsuko let out a bit of a giggle checking her hair in the small panel in the lift "Guess we will have to check it out. What do you want to hit up first?"

"Hnnnmmm...of course, but I want to get jewelry after clothes of course. How's that sound?" Akina asked, her hand resting on Katsuko's hip from around her back. She was finally going to be able to spend her pay, and patted for her card through her purse just to make sure it was still there. I wonder if they'll have a cafe there or something. The Taisa thought as the lift doors opened to rapture deck one.

"Well sort of. Life just throws certain fates your way, that's one of them." Corro kept an even pace with the light-green haired Neko. Giving in to the peace of the area he was truely relaxing for one of the first times since he joined up with 5th Fleet. The simulated sun shining down on the pair felt invigorating. Continuing down the path he cautiously nudged himself closer to Mishima. "I don't know about you but I think there is something missing." Corro said with an adventurous tone.

"We could have brought a picnic but you pointed and we went." she said, missing any subtext. The grasses became taller as they walked on the abandoned trail. One could scarcely make out the other trail users, and it wasn't obvious if the hang glider in the air was real or a projection. The wind rustling through the grass became more obvious as a cloud ducked in front of the sun.

"A compromise then; let's wrangle up some stools. ... oh man. Barkeep! A whiskey sour, light on the lime." Roger looked around for a bit. "Cam ditched out already?" He found her, away at another table, and called to her. "Come on now, you can't journey with boon companions only to bail out when we reap our rewards; come over here and form up; you guys are all about formations, right?"

" Don't mind her for now she doesn't like to drink or socialize,,,," Jaq took a seat and stretched out and called to the waitress, "hey could I please get a white Russian over here?!" Jaq thought back to want he had said on the ship he looked to the others (namely Roger) and said" well never mind all that talk about me having enough booze for awhile.... you can never have to much!"

There was the clack of a glass, and the shuffling sound of a stoll being moved. And, Camellia was seated among the others, next to Roger. "Funny, I would have though you guys would have followed me." She muttered before taking a sip of a screwdriver she had with her.

Jatsu sat on a stool with his back against the bar. He slammed his left hand down and shouted, "Hey, barkeep? Get me a screwdriver, and don't be stingy with the vodka." He turned to Cam and said, "Oh, I guess I haven't introduced myself. I'm Jatsu, Nito Hei, bridge crew, yadda yadda. What's with that archaic device you've been staring at?"

Katsuko headed into the first clothing store, brushing past with one of the other officers with a "Hey..." the informality answered with a "Hhhh...Taisho...." Katsuko kinda smirked and moved on dragging Akina behind her and into the store. They had an assortment of clothing, mostly tank tops, halters and skirts. The pickings were slim but what they had was in fair quality. Lets just hope the help is not so...pushy... she nudged Aki with a cute blink of her silver eyes.

Aoiko glanced down at her novel, then sighed deeply as she slipped the bookmark in between the pages and dropped it into one of her bags. One more little nip, she thought to herself, and stepped up to the bar for one more cup of sake. Seeing faces she recognized, however, she turned to bow. 'Aldrich-san, Kimura-san, Draco-san... Certainly a pleasure to see you,' she said flatly. 'But I don't believe I have met you?' She tilted her head curiously to the newcomers.

The Stratigist smirked, and tilted her head.Wait, what? she asked, already almost certain. She began picking through racks, looking for clothes. "Which should we start with first?" she thought aloud.

"Hey hey, this is quickly turning into a party. Hi, I'm Roger Kard, Santo Hei, Engineering and Repair for the Kasairyuu Wing. I just got here a bit ago, so pleased to meet you." Roger sipped on his drink, and slowly rotated the ice cubes in the glass. Ice cubes? Why did they put ice cubes in my sour?

Katsuko gave an unimpressed look picking up a ripped tank off the rack "I think you should choose the next store. This one is a little less than appropriate..." She tossed the shirt towards the counter with the attendant. The attendant, looked up saying "You want that boxed up lady?" Katsuko's nose crinkled, a sure sign of what was to come. "How about you put it in the trash disposal, along with the rest of your inventory..." The attendant was about to snarl something back but another one of the enlisted entered to look around and greeted Katsuko "Taisho..." The attendant's face drained of color as Katsuko made her way out of the store and back into the street

Corro made a slightly comical grimace at Mishima's comment. "Whoops. Didn't think to far ahead on that one, did I?" He continued. He gave Mishima's hand another gentle squeeze as he looked up to the sky. "You know I never thought I'd be here couple years ago. Still living on Nepleslia working at home was what I thought I would be doing till my dying day." He looked down, sighing and smiling at the same time. "Plans change so fast." Turning to Mishima he continued. "What about you? What plans do you have?"

"Me? I don't know. It's hard getting into officer training, I might just retire at my eight years, work on some nice planet. Not one of those SMX places." she wrinkled her nose thinking about the worlds that were liberated. "This is nice, though..maybe I could just be a warrant officer." she tilted her head, still in thought.

"What were you doing before you joined up with us? Having some fun?" Jaq asked Aoiko while taking a drink from his white Russian and shifting in his seat.

Camellia didn't notice Aoiko at first, her glass was halfway to her lips when she did notice her. And, with a slight head bob, she raised her drink and shot gunned the last half glass. She paused only for a second to swallow and wipe her mouth with a napkin, before she turned and saluted. "Camellia Sarri, Itto Juni and also a member of the Wing.â€

ON> YSS Hikari "Don't kill children, don'trunthem oovah!"

Akina had stopped to make reservations for the evening at the 11th deck hotel "Imperial Purple" at brightly lit console in the warm light of the first deck's promenade. The command officers strolled in the outdoor pedestrian mall. Soon they were window shopping hand in hand, deciding where to stop first in the bustling multi-leveled alleys of the district. "Oh! Let's go to that one!" Akina pointed to a nice looking windowfront.

The serene countryside and Mishima's company were making for a quiet and enjoyable day. His knew the night cycle might come sooner than expected. But he wasn't quite sure. Besides, he considered himself a fool for already not thinking of a picnic. "You know, I feel stupid about the picnic now. Do you want to head back to that village and pick up something to eat?" Corro asked Mishima.

"Sure!" the Nekovalkyrja spun around on the path, catching Corro's arm. "It'll be really fun. They even planted a few big trees!" she said, pointing around as they backtracked.

Aoiko bowed politely to Roger and Camellia. 'Murasaki Aoiko des'. Hajimemashite. I work Communications on Alpha Shift.' She straightened up and glanced over to Jatsu. 'I have just been glancing around the shops here. The book selection leaves something to be desired, unfortunately. Yourselves?'

Camellia had her back turned to the Comm. officer when she introduced herself, already flagging down the barkeeper and asking for his best beer. "Of course, ma'am." the bartender said straightly, his hands disappeared below the bar and returning with a pint of a very dark stout.

Bishop was still in his quarters, not having anytime to join anyone else on shore leave he was shifting through the diagnostic and schematic data on the power armors, trying personalize the response controls that he felt had sluggish last time out, he wondered to himself if he could request a single armor to use for his time in the wing, taking a break from his work he walked out of his quarters for some fresh air, or as fresh as air gets on a starship.

Jaq downed his Russian and strode up " Hey who wants to go for a swim? it's perfect weather for it?" Jaq looked around the group to see if anyone was up for it.

Ziv was still wandering around rather aimlessly, taking in the sights at all the shops. He hated to big crowds of people, but he decided that enduring the crowds was better than going back to his room to do nothing. Or, worse yet, to wander around the ship and end up pissing off another superior like with Adlich...

Jatsu turned to Aoiko and held up the bag containing his computer, then excitedly said "I bought a new toy!" He set it down, then continued, "I was looking for some parts to enhance my arm, but couldn't find anything interesting." He took a sip of his screwdriver, then pulled an empty seat into the group for her.

"Did someone say new toy? Lemme see that thing..." Roger said, peering into the bag. "Holy moly... who did you kill to buy that model? There's no way you could have afforded that thing on a military pay scale."

"Oh, this is a good one!" Akina turned from side to side, swinging her hips as Katsuko tried on shoes near the three sided mirror in the boutique. She wore a pair of low cut denim jeans and a patterned tank top, straight from Yamatai. "I don't know.." Katsuko trailed off, examining her feet.

"Oh yeah." Corro said as he spied the trees Mishima was pointing towards. "Good place to relax for a bit. Out of the sun. Plus they're also on a hill so we can see the whole area." He let himself be lead somewhat by Mishima. He continued backtracking with her, smile still ever present on his face.

Several minutes passed in silence as they returned to the outpost of sorts. She selected a blanket to go with their meal and basket rental as she allowed Corro to select the food from the vendor. (Picnic fair, chilled alcohol, etc.)

Aoiko set her bags down next to her as she slipped into the chair. 'Oh, my,' she said, raising her eyebrows as she glanced at Jatsu's new computer. 'Who did you need to mur..? Ah.' She sat back, glancing down to his arm. 'They do make some interesting accessories for those. What did you have in mind?'

Caine had left the club where he was talking with Aoiko to keep looking for a few things she wanted and looked for a few of the weapon shops for a solid ammo pistol, as he collected the weapon types. But stopped a mail depot for the army and had the items for his siblings sent back to Yamatai and paid extra to have them delivered then continued to shop around, he'd meet up with everyone later if he could and would return to the Akuro on time.

Bishop had made his way to the Mess hall by now, he was sitting alone and had brought along his journal and was writing in it, he greeted other crewmen politly but kept to himself, not overly interested in socializing at the moment

Camellia looked over at Jaq with a half annoyed glare, well, it's only half since that all anyone can see of her face. "Do you mind? I have a stout here that needs drinking." She muttered sharply as she cracked the cap on the beer and took a sniff of the malt. "Mmmm, just like home." She smiled as she started to drink it.

Jaq made a farcical hurt expression and replied to camellia: "Awww come on after you finish that up will ya join me and whom ever else is coming?" Jaq proceeded to buy another white Russian " come on guys one more round then we go!"

Ziv decided he would head up to the Rapture Deck 11 to gaze out into space for a while. He thought he would enjoy the view of Taiie IV and the tranquility would help him to meditate for a while.

Jatsu laughed. "I still had my signing bonus, so I used most of that to buy it. And I really haven't put much thought into what I wanted for my arm...I was just browsing." He finished his screwdriver and ordered another, then turned to Jaq. "Uhm...my swimsuit is back on the Akuro. And if I go back there, I'll probably end up staying to play with my computer for a while."

Already there were various boxes and bags on the way to the eleventh deck. The pair of officers were already working on sandals at a different boutique, sifting through what would work with different outfits. Akina was determined to blow as much of her money as possible getting a normal wardrobe.

Roger snorted. "You go ahead and have fun; I didn't bring any trunks, and I don't feel like walking back to the shuttle in wet jeans. 'sides, I want to take a look at Mr. Bigbucks' new acquisition here, it's not every day you get to see new tech."

Corro decided to go with a some bread, sliced smoked ham and turkey, a vintage wine, and some fresh fruit. His own cooking experience coming in handy as he picked the items, only the best would do. Upon receiving the food he gave Mishima warm smile. "Since you only got to pick out the blanket, why don't you choose the spot you want." He made sure he had everything before continuing. "Lead on my lady." He joked, bowing slightly.

Aoiko glanced up to Jaq. 'Swimming? I would have to buy a new suit, myself. I apologize.'

Caine finished up his shopping spree now with a few new pistols he could afford and paused on the rapture deck and asked the computer, dreading it's cheery voice. "Where are the other Kasairyuu wing members?" he asked hoping the computer would know, but if it didn't that was ok.

Mishima snickered once at Corro's choice of actions, tucking the blue and white blanket in her arms and walking on a different path into the rolling hills. "Come on, let's go over that hill and find tree on a hill or something!" she skipped along.

Camellia, paused while savoring her beer at the mention of swimming. Placing the can down, she raised her right arm and whapped Jaq on the head with the back of her fingers. "Stop saying stupid things. Who'd bother going swimming when there's beer to drink?" She asked while scooping her beer back up and draining it. "Keep! Another stout!"

Jaq brought his head back up to straight and look at camellia. "That was not needed" he then turned to the others and said: "well just to tell yea you can 'rent' swim stuff over there apparently. but hey if you guys don't wanna I'd like to know what you would like to do besides hanging out here, cause this is sort of boring!"

Ziv was on his way to meditate in a quiet area of the rapture deck, but then he noticed a tattoo shop where he could get a piercing. He'd always thought about doing it... so he did. He went in, and counting out most of his KS, laid out the money for a piercing on his left eyebrow. The pain was intense for a minute, but it started to feel much better after a few minutes of getting used to it. He had gotten a small black captive ball piercing on the far left side of his eyebrow. He looked it over in the mirror in the piercing room, and was quite pleased with the looks. He turned to thank the shopkeeper and started off to a secluded spot like he had originally planned.

"Look compadre, in all honesty I'm just happy to spend a nice relaxing day in the company of friends and have a nice soothing drink." Roger stated, nursing the last of his whiskey sour. "Nobody's saying that you can't go; we're probably going to be here for a while anyway. Now oh-so-esteemed roomie; lemme see the goods before I bust a capacitor in anticipation."

Katsuko and Akina both had two boxes already. The pair hadn't made a significant dent in their funds yet, already getting ready to move onto their next stores. "Where to next. love?" she said aloud in the quiet boutique. The woman in charge of the shop had little clue who the pair were, all of the permanent staff coming from civilian pools on YSA worlds.

Corro followed closely after the Nekovalkyrja. With a slight increase in his stride he managed to stay up with her. The slight incline not doing much to hamper his progress. But he felt a tightening in his legs, he'd have to check the cybernetics when he got back on duty. "It's kinda warm out. Don't you think?" Corro asked taking note of how the simulated sun seemed to blanket the area in mid-summer heat.

Mishma finally dashed from the path, and skipped up to a large tree. It's leaves shuffled pleasantly in the wind, as the fake clouds trailed in the sky. She unfurled the blanket in the shade, and patted the ground for Corro, sitting cross-legged.

Aoiko tilted her head slightly. 'They have bars on beaches, don't they?' she asked. 'I suppose it would not be quite ideal to have sand and salt water in this, though... Oh, well.' She had a little sip of sake. 'How much did this beast cost, anyhow?'

Seeing as the computer wouldn't answer or was too busy to answer, Caine backtracked himself to the way back to the Akuro and looked around. "Damn I hate these huge places, I can never find my way around!" he said to himself and groaned. "oh well I might as well go back to the Akuro and put this stuff in my quarters." he said and got a shuttle back to the Akuro. After a trip to his home ship and sighed and headed for his quarters. "Akuro who is my new roommate?" he asked curiously.

"Welcome back, soldier. You are currently assigned with Santô Hei Ziv Brunthol." was the curt reply.

Camellia finished off her current malt and places the can on the counter top. And with a sigh, she got up and stretched slightly. "Well, I'd say this was nice. But I'd be lying." She muttered as she walked off. "If anyone needs me, or not. I'll be back on the Akuro." She said, both hands up behind her head.

Three chimes resounded through the decks of the Esctasy ship and then the young communication's officer gave the ship-wide announcement "Good evening...This is a last call announcement for all members of the YSS-Akuro currently on leave on this vessel. Please finish up your drinks and shopping within the next 30 minutes and prepare to disembark. Thank you for your patronage, Hikari board out."

"My, convenience is a bitch." Camellia muttered as she kept on waking.

"You beat me to the chase" Jaq responded with a frown. It had felt like they had only been there for two hours but it was already time to go back... not much a leave. "So... I guess no swimming or seeing any movies or the like. But I hope you all had a good time on the short leave. Now time to get back to the Big bird!â€
