• Former 5th XF Headquarters Taiie no Iori was safely towed back to orbit at Taiie IV. The Taisho Motoyoshi Katsuko has announced that following the investigation into the tragic events aboard the occurred less than a week ago, aboard the Star Fortress, she will be holding conference with Taisho Yui in regards to the future of the station. Motoyoshi has expressed interest in a partial restoration and turning it into a memorial to those who lost their lives.

• The Colony on Taiie IV has opened its doors to those listed for special shore leave granted by the Taisho. Shop owners and city officials are excited about the projected increases in sales because of the visiting soldiers.

• The new Iori Star Fortress was brought into the Taiie Staging area this morning at 08:00 hours. The Office of Taisho Motoyoshi Katsuko has stated that the new Fortress will be designated Akina no Iori in memory of the Taisa Akina Shimizu, former commander of the YSS-Akuro who was killed in action.

• With the SMX making a come back, citizens on the Taiie IV colony are concerned with their safety. A release from the Office of the Taisho has stated that some of the new vessels enroute from Ketsurui Fleet Yards will be devoted to a new Taiie Planetary Defense Group.

• Namiko Carrier Wing engaged the Mishhuvurthyar in the late hours of the night yesterday. The fight for the Murf system began within seconds of the Carrier wing entering the system. Last reports show that casualties are light and three Ghullfrashirv Mishhu destroyers were destroyed.

• Koyanagi Mayumi, Chujo Commander of the 5th Expeditionary Fleet's Akina no Iori has boasted that the new Iori went fully operational at the end of last week. The base is expected to be at full production capacity by the middle of next week. The Chujo, informed the news service that the bas is expected to play a vital role in the production of replacement vessels for the fleet during the war. She also excitedly announced the base will be the primary facility in the production of a new class of starship, no further details however we able to be given due to the classified nature of the project.
