[The transmission is audio only, disturbed, and the signal is fairly weak, intelligible only roughly within the New Nepleslia area unless relayed further]

This is Foreman Gai Zero One 01-0145-2700, spokesman of the Mothership "Dawn over a New World". Greetings to you, Nepleslian friends. We are transmitting this message on the same frequencies we noticed your ships using, hoping it will reach you.

In the aftermath of the Yamatai genocide of our race, we have been scattered and broken. In order to gather back again together the people of the Free State, we need to set a gathering point. After a long casting of votes on its location, we have decided to place our beacon one light-year to the galactic north of the border of the Nepleslian Nebula, in deep space.

Since this location is within an enclosure of space that your people consider to be yours, we have decided to inform you of this fact, just so that you don't freak out when you notice it. Plus, it's good manners, I guess.

I hope it's not a problem. This mothership will reach the designated point in less than 24 hours and deploy the nav beacon right afterwards. Don't worry, we don't plan on overstaying: as soon as we'll have gathered our motherships and reestablished our communication network, we'll discuss on where to go next to recover.

Possibly somewhere as far away from the Fascist Empire of Yamatai as possible.

Foreman,

Message confirmed. Fleetcom has granted your vessels authorization to stay at the designated area. There are several terms you must abide by, however.

  • A SMoDIN escort will be provided for your fleet. They will keep their distance, and we hope your vessels will, as well. If your ships wish to leave your flotilla for independent voyages within Nepleslian space, they must clear it with the escort before departure.
  • We've noticed that your hackers are extremely talented. Keep them in check and away from our data networks, especially military and government ones.
  • Your fleet must stay away from the star system Dejection, several lightyears North of your location.

Other than that, welcome to Nepleslia, and please enjoy your stay.

Commodore Vincent D'Blanc, 2nd Assault Fleet
SMODIN NAVAL DIVISION

Thank you, pal. Your ships can come close if they want. As a matter of fact, some of our folk are grateful enough for your assistance in the aftermath of the Genocide that some Motherships have put together some gifts for you Nep star fleet people.

We're a "poor" people by your standards, but please accept them.

As for our hackers... *short laugh* I think you have more to gain from them than to fear from them.
