ON> Hoshi no Iori, Kessaku Forest
Arriving by shuttle, Henry and Shina found themselves on one of two circular landing pads near the front of the majestic ivory-esque castle where the Star Army's most prodigious programmer resided. The tops of the tall spindles were peaked with a shining teal, and all around, arches and skyways and towers formed an impressive web of architecture around the central structure. Inside, Anri was waiting. While she did so, she contacted both Kikyô and Yui, so that they might join her in discussing SARA's latest experiment.
Yuuko followed the couple shortly afterward, then took up the lead, guiding them towards the entrance of the castle.
As they walked, Henry's data pad began to beep again. Henry took it out, and read Yuuko's instructions for him to promote Shina. He gave Shina a smile, and kept walking. Once he gets his new rank pin, he planned to give his Taii pin to Shina. "What is it, sir?" asked his assistant. "... Nothing."
Yuuko stopped on top of a giant rune inscribed into the walkway, outside the door. "I'm not entirely certain how to work this," she said, looking down at its glowing teal curls and lines.
Henry stepped closer to Yuuko to get a better look at the rune.
"I am Kessaku!" Yuuko shouted excitedly at the ground.
Nothing happens.
Shina fought back the urge to giggle.
"Mmm," Yuuko started scratching her head. "Maybe..." she started. Once Henry and Shina were on the rune, too, it flashed and the three were suddenly enveloped in pitch black darkness, all around.
"Hey!" Shina's voice drifted into the darkness. "Who turned out the lights?"
Henry just shook his head. The girl could be so silly when she wanted to.
Anri, her head covered in flowing, curling and extremely long locks of both teal and blonde, appeared in a white robe. "Hello there," she greeted them. Yui appeared as well. "Henry," she nodded to him. Yuuko was there too. As the darkness receded, a round table and seats rose from the center of this mystery room.
Henry suddenly realized that he was in the same room with the Empress. He bowed in response to her and Anri's greetings, not being entirely sure just how she knew him by name, and just a little bit scared. Shina, on the other hand, seemed completely relaxed around Yui and Anri. "Taishos," she said with a smile and a bow.
Anri took a seat and poked at a holographic control panel that was following her around. "Hrmm." Yui made a "Please, sit," gesture, and also took a seat at the table, next to Anri.
Henry and Shina took their seats at the table, across from the Empress and Anri.
