Post subject: [Hotaru] Preparations for Lor Evacuation

Chujo Mitsuya Saito arrived back on Himitsu, with Katsuko’s blessings she had been given a chance to shine, and with this deployment to Lor she would have that opportunity. She arrived in Himitsu’s NECTAR and immediately began to issue orders. “Engineering prepare all systems for deployment, Communications please inform Hotaru Flight Control to have ships in or outbound for this base to be advised that we are leaving soon.” A few vocalized “Hai Chujo”, others just went about their duties committing to the task at hand.
Himitsu bring up the fleet deployment control panel and begin open session under my authorization.
A screen listing all ships in the fleet opened before Saito, a simple layout listing registry, class and name along with the current standing orders. Through her link with the computer she began to assign several of the fleet’s resources to the Lor Theatre of Operations.
Himitsu, have communications update the commanding officers of the group assigned to the mission, and have Fleet Logistics begin load-out procedures.

Onboard the YSS Draco...
"All munitions are armed and stored, Ayako." The Itto Juni started as he approached the Taisa from behind. "The Tenken will be ready within the next 20 minutes. They've just finished her repairs from the last skirmish."
Taisa Bando Ayako turned from her position at the bridge's mission operations station. She nodded an affirmation to her junior, but did not smile. "I'm still rather worried about what happened to the Yamahata. It's a great shame to lose such a seasoned crew."
"We're all feeling the pressure, ma'am." The junior replied, tucking the datapad under her left arm. Looking about the sparsely manned Nozomi bridge, the Neko realized only the captain and her were in the room. "Did you-?"
"Yes, I gave them a few hours to regain so sense. We've been running non-stop for eight days. A few hours of off time won't kill us." Ayako interjected, smiling as she spoke. "Besides, since when should I be the only one to relax."
"I would hardly call a command meeting relaxing, ma'am." The Neko scoffed with a snicker. She turned and made for the nearby communications station. Once there she began to scroll through communiqués and new information. "The rest of the group has returned to their positions. Taii Ganyu reports the Tenken will be active in no time flat."
"Alright, send a message to Himitsu, verifying our status. Then get the entire forces jump solutions. We'll probably be in first and farthest from the rest of them." Ayako moved to the captain's chair and sat down. Placing a hand on her cheek delicately, she smiled to herself. "Rest time is almost over."

A dozen volumetric windows were opened before Igarashi Yuka, her operations officer interrupting her review of mission specifics. “Hotaru Control sends us the green, Taisa.” He quickly corrected himself, “Uh sorry, Shôshô Motoyoshi.” Yuka grinned darkly, the shiny new rank pin on her uniform, displayed proudly. As with Izumi, Igarashi was now gone, all that remained was Motoyoshi. Her adoption into the family having been approved by Katsuko.
The Saesei II was the newest of the rebuilt Kyoto Carriers for the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet, the first having fallen in the Battle of Taiie which brought an end to the operation Nami no Seion. It would be Yuka’s crowning achievement to be granted the command chair on a ship with a namesake memorializing a ship that served the empire; the Saesei had sacrificed itself to save thousands.
Once clear of Hotaru’s bay the Seaesi II formed up with her twenty Arashi escorts and the rest of the ships being sent to Lor.
Himitsu, SCG reporting ready for jump.
Yuka opened up communications with the Draco, "Ayako you sexy beast, hows the weather over there?" she inquired with a giggle. "Ready to fry some squid?"

On the YSS Yukari...
Taisa Tange Nao stared intently at the three large screens that made up the front of the YSS Yukari's bridge. The first screen showed the Nozomies of the Draco Scout group getting into position. The second and center screen showed all 47 of her own Irim Gunships of the Yukari Assault Group lined up in four Delta formations, each one smaller than the next one. The last screen showed in raw data the status of the entire fleet, everybody was on the move.
"Taisa." A voice sounded from her right, it was the chief engineer of her ship. The male Yamataian saluted when she turned her head to look at him. Standing up from her seat, she saluted back. "The ship is running smoothly with no troubles." The engineer reported.
"Excellent." She responded. Making sure the status of your own machinery personally was something Nao bought over from her piloting days. It was more important for her to remain on the bridge than to inspect the ship herself, but she compensated by hearing its status from the horse's mouth. "Return to your post, Nito Juni."
"Hai!" The Engineer replied with a bow. Executing years of training and deft footwork, the Yamataian turned around and marched out of the bridge without complaining about having to walk the length of the ship to give a one sentence report, he was a soldier of the Tange family after all.
Nao gently ran a finger across the Katana she wore around her waist, it gave her both a sense of safety and of caution that bad things can happen at any time. Her personal weapon and ship secured, there was one more thing that Nao needed to go over before the jump.
"Chusa Sakemoto." Nao announced to the WIES which immediately bought up a volumetric screen of said Chusa. "A slight change of plans, my command group will fold right after your first security group instead of waiting for the second security group. I would like to know the situation on the other side sooner than later. Inform the other group leaders."
Sakemoto listented intently before nodding with a "As you wish, Taisa.". The screen faded out to show the 15-strong second security group falling back to position themselves behind Nao's seven Irim command group. A bridge crew looked up from her post and announced "Reformation complete, Taisa. Informing the Himitsu that the Yukari Assault Group is ready to go."
"Good." Nao responded with a smirk as she sat back on her captain's seat to await further orders from high command. I will show you how service is rendered, Misato. Just you wait.

“YAG, SCG, DFG reporting ready for fold. We have clearance from Command.” The communications officer reported to Saito.
Three dimensional diagrams of real space opened above the NECTAR operations table, Saito gave the order over the opened communications between all the ships in the Lor group, “Initiate hyperspace fold, The Lor Theater of Operations is officially open, lets get to work people.”

Saito awaited the other commanding officers to report in that their ships were ready for the jumps to Lor.
