YSS Eucharis, Taiie Nebula – A routine patrol for Kuvexian infiltrators close to Core Yamatai discovered a weak distress signal in the Western Lonely Expanse. Promptly dispatching the Eucharis, the crew discovered a disabled shuttle on an asteroid housing a surviving Nekovalkyrja who had been in cryostasis since YE29. The formerly Missing-in-Action soldier, from the 5th Expeditionary Fleet, is in stable condition and convalescing aboard. The soldier was in possession of scientific data from the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet's mission to the now-destroyed star system Taiie, providing hope that its species were not all lost.
