Good Evening Mr. Suites, What can I help you with today?

After a day of trooping around the Rixxicor ship, sorting through data, and scolding his roomate for her absence Candon was exhausted and ready to sleep. Having ordered Akane to the night shift he had the room all to himself to sleep? No, that would be too perfect a way to end the day. After all, he had to deal with Wazu too!

After removing his uniform he laid In his bed and closed his eyes as he telepathically operated his datapad which sat on the desk. There was no way he would be no reading the whole dossier that night but a quick skim would work.

'He mentioned Rok'Veru. Let's see his war record,' he thought to himself as he accessed the data. The answer made him choke, 40:1 against the NMX! He leapt out of his bunk and swiped the datapad off of the desk. With a click of a button the screen lit up and confirmed the number that had startled him. Taking a seat at the desk he began reading much more thoroughly. It only got better/worse.

He was credited with finding and killing the leader of the Black Syndicate and then killing his replacement. He organized the Nepleslian fleets, provided them with their earliest ships, and destroyed the Reds when they gathered their forces on Kenewes. When Yamatai blockaded Nepleslia to starve them out, they found Wazu had already setup a wormhole gate network to transport supplies around the Nepleslian Empire, making the blockade meaningless.

It quickly started becoming clear that he was no scientist, Wazu was a big time strategist. In battle the victor was hardly ever decided solely by technology or numbers, Wazu was a cunning man who used science and math along with careful planning to accomplish his goals.
'He's no different than me.'

Diving deeper into the dossier he found the reference to Rok'Veru. Originally a Nepleslian colony, the 4th fleet showed up to evacuate the planet. When they finished, the NMX moved in. The Nepleslians had a minimal loss of life and the NMX gained a foothold right next to Yamatai. This one would have seemed a little suspicious but there were a lot of NMX ships going to Rok'Veru. On paper they would have easily beaten the Nepleslians.. Still, the opportunity to drop some of the heat from the NMX forces onto Yamatai made perfect sense for the times. Suites was sure that Nepleslia would still wreck the YSE if it would benefit them in some way and Wazu was still Nepleslian. The casualties would have racked up fast but Wazu seemed to always have some trick up his sleeve, an unsettling thought seeing as the man had access to the bridge of the most famous ship in the SAOY.

About a year after Rok'Veru, the 4th fleet attacks Veritas… And that was about it on that subject. Information collected by both Yamataian and Nepleslian ships told almost the exact same story, the 4th fleet shows up, exchanges some transmissions with the NMX, and then leaves. Automated 4th fleet ships occationally show up in the system after that, as do other unmarked ships. But Suites remembered hearing about that situation. The NMX commander there was Sichylokgyunyadri, or Shlock Grunder to those who couldn't pronounce such a simple name. He couldn't help but wonder why the 4th fleet would see such little combat there. Something had happened there and Candon was willing to bet that it was cooperative in nature. He'd have to ask.

On a more disturbing, yet not surprising note Wazu had apparently maintained steady contact with a Neko named Uso Tasuki. Although there weren't any official records of this Candon could safely assume she was acting as a consultant, or at least advised him at some point seeing as NH-7s were illegal to have on/around Nepleslia at the time. They were obviously making an exception and Nepleslians didn't do that for nothing. Proving his assumption was the hard part, even the SAINT records only stated that she was an agent that got demoted to cook and then left the Stararmy. Candon felt he had her figured out though, she got addicted to the game and didn't want it to end. It wasn't as uncommon as people would hope. It was people like her that served as warning examples to other agents. It probably didn't matter much at this point but he'd have to address it the next time he trapped Wazu.

Rubbing his eyes he set the datapad back down. After reading almost the entire dossier he'd have to salvage what time he could from the night for sleep. As he began drifting off into sleep he heard the dreaded sound of a dreamers mortal enemy,
the alarm.

'Wazu, you suck… '
