Nepleslian News Network [NNN] 4th AASP Fleet Begins Evacuation of Tange

News has arrived that the 4th AASP Fleet, bolstered by a number of older warships and military transports, has achieved control of the Tange system and begun the evacuation of civilians residing there.

NSMC personnel are confirmed on the ground and engaging NMX occupation forces there.

All indications are that the NMX presence was recent and UOC forces are still holding out against the invader.

Amongst the ships in the Tange system is the NSS Destiny. It has been confirmed that the Destiny will be part of the evacuation effort.

The Star Military's 4th Fleet Headquarters today has released the total number of Jiyuuians evacuated from the Tange system during the recent operations there.

267,808 men, women, children have been transported to the planet of Nepleslia Prime. They are currently undergoing medical screening, debriefing and assigned temporary housing. For the moment, it seems all refugees will be kept isolated until it has been confirmed that all of them are free of any NMX biological agents.

The Star Military wishes to stress that they will be released and allowed travel to any destination of their choice or, if they so choose, to stay in the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia. Lawmakers are currently finalizing a long-term plan to integrate any Jiyuuians who wish to stay.
