In it's current state, do you think the Order is a viable faction?

Apologies again for the large delay, this seems to be taking a bit longer than anticipated. To make up for this, I have a big change to announce.

Recently, the option has now opened up for the Order to become a separate species (as opposed to human or near-human), which I will be taking. Although I don't yet know what they'll look like, I have a few ideas as to what they will be. In essence, they would be entirely composed of genetically engineered castes, which will be divided according to intended function. For example, a mechanic in the Supply Division (see previous post) would be more muscular and stocky, since they're intended to work with heavy machinery. By contrast, a military pilot would have shorter appendages and more robust internal organs to deal with high G-forces, as well as enhanced reaction times. Additionally, I will be making changes to the history to justify their present state, though I'm not going to talk about those just yet as they involve another faction which I need to look into both IC and OOC.

In closing, remember to update your vote as the idea changes - this helps me to know if I'm making progress or not. And, as always, make sure to comment with any suggestions or concerns you might have.

Brief dump: One thing I've been seriously considering for these aliens is to have all their ships be climate-controlled to a very low temperature. There are two reasons for this, one IC and one OOC.

IC - A long time ago, a decision was made at the higher levels of management to lower temperatures to save energy. Over the years, the temperature has been progressively lowered as the population becomes accustomed to it.

OOC - I didn't want it to be too serious, so this is my attempt at making them a bit more realistic.
