RP: SRSS Yggdrasill Picking up new crew

Soon after Mel had taken the babies from her, Agrael had passed out from exhaustion. She slept peacefully on her back. Her wings would flutter a little every once in a while as she dreamed nameless dreams.

Mel smiled and rubbed Ag's hair as she took the babies and wrapped themin soft blankets she'd brought with her and put them in cribs provided. She'd let Agrael rest and stretched some, sighing and backed off from the bed and general area and went outside. "Ygg...can you guide me to the baths? I feel the need to cleanse myself before I speak to the commodore again."

The Yggdrasill did just that...the baths were pretty basic and utilitarian, but they would do.

Mel would head to the baths on the Yggdrasil after tending to Ag and shed the silken robe she was wearing in the changing room. When she had some space she tilted back and stretched her wings out and yawned. Her ample bosoms bouncing slightly from the motion as she did before she straightened out and went to prepare a good bath for herself. She’d have the light level lowered a bit in that one area and lit the incensed candles as she filled the tub. But this would take a few minutes as she did, so the woman passed the time humming a soft tune that would echo off the metallic and uninviting walls.

"...What are those small flames emanating? I detect an abnormality in the atmosphere of the room."

Yggdrasill asked Mel...truly, the ship could see anywhere and everywhere it wished, it seemed.



After the transfer of the new crewman, and Remi's departure, Toshiro proceeded to order his fleet toward Albini.

"We are currently proceeding to Albini to salvage. Those who have assignments, please report to your stations."


(OOC: Sorry, but we have to get moving. I had to auto the new guy and boot Remi off the ship since she didn't wanna come. T_T)

(No worries, Toshiro. ^^;; I haven't been exactly sure what to do with Agrael though..)

Agrael continued to sleep as they passed through towards the Albini system. The Elysian's body was exhausted from the labor and removal of those two growths called children. Her body would soon reform itself into her thin figure, except for a few extra pounds around her breasts and other areas caused by the pregnancy.

Mel slid her figure into the hot water, submerging herself slowly. "Mmm" she said, closing her eyes before the ship intruded with it's inquiry. It was apparently about the incensed candles Mel was burning nearby to lighten the atmosphere and make it smell nice; a form of aromatherapy. "It's incense Yggdrasil. It's supposed to be a mild aromatherapy." She explained as she paused and dipped her honey blonde hair into the water, arcing her back up, making her ample bosom splash the water a little.

"Searching...found. Ah. I guess the concept escaped me. While I am equipped with atmospheric concentration analysis systems, I am not able to "smell", not would such data fire the neural connections and produce the stimuli it would in a biological organism."

Yggdrasill replied.

"I am aware your vessels utilize bio-technology. Can they perceive these things as you can, or are they sub-sentient?"

Lyshana was wandering through the halls, trying to AVOID the other Elysians. She was half Pleb, and by Elysian rules that made her as bad as a full pleb. Though her wings were full and healthy she was abnormally short for an Elysian too, a sign of her odd heritage. She was positive that the other Elysians would treat her like a slave or worse... She petted her pet, though, and went about the work of installing the bloaters in The YGG. "Computer" She says "Attempt uplink with Unit 137 please!" She was referring to the 'sentient ready' mother unit she had been working on. It's computer uplink would allow the YGG to use her's brain to assist its own. "I am beginning the instalation of a biological security system based off of the human immune system, on Toshiro's advice" She says "I'm also installing some bio-webbing for comfort, and to assist the system."

The bio webbing was a series of simple information cables that released and 'smelled' pheromones to assist communication with the bloaters. They were red colored, soft, and slightly mobile, allowing the ship to wrap things up with them to a small extent. These were prototypes, the final ones would be less visible.

"Please direct me where to place the cables. They contain several biological sensory equipment devices to assist with controlling the bloaters"

"You are attempting to install biological mobility and computation systems into my body...before I try this...will my mind, my 'self' be altered? I...do not think I would like that."

Yggdrasill replied, with what seemed to be a bit of concern and worry.


"As for the cables...perhaps some in the bathing area? There is something called incense which is occasionally used, and I am curious about its...smell."

"I do not know if your self will be altered" Lyshana admited "But your core personality shouldn't be. All that might change are your perceptions. You might have to start dealing with organic emotions caused by chemicals like adrenaline, and the like. Alright, I'll run it through the bath area first" She said starting to walk there... "If you don't like it I can disconnect the system and return everything to normal." She walked slowly, releasing a few bloaters from their cages as she walked, the mother unit in a anti-grav system near her "I don't know much about inorganic AI's, sorry."

Melissiel continued to bathe, shampooing her hair currently as Ygg continued it's questioning about it. The candles were continuing to provide a relaxing atmosphere around the tub she was using. "Well that's too bad, it'd help you relax if you could feel that eventually." she smiled. "You could always procure a body to use for an avatar to sample stuff like this." she pointed out and thought. "some of them can, it depends just how sentient they are."

"I see...well, I may be able to smell soon. Your fellow Elysian Doctor is installing biotechnology into my systems."

Yggdrasill told Mell, at the same time it spoke to Lyshana.

"Very well. A trial period then."

"Alright, link into wireless port 543 to get the Mother Unit." She said, opening the bath door. She squeeks "A... an! EEK!" She shouts, her whole frame vibrating. Her wings gave a massive flap, and she started to flee from the bathroom, leaving the red cable behind, as well as her sophisticated Bioware experiments.

Mel blinked a bit hearing someone run out of the bath area as she soaked in her tub hidden behind a pulled privacy curtain. "Ygg... what was that just now?" she asked curiously.

After being welcomed aboard, 'Teki went to find his assigned cabin and stow his gear he brought with him. Looking around him, he thought to himself, now I've made it here, I wonder what will happen next. Might as well introduce myself to the crew. With that thought uppermost in his mind he headed to the lounge, wondering if anyone will be there.

"That was Lyshana, the other resident Elysian doctor...specificly, that was her panicking, dropping my upgrades, and running off as if she were 'stark raving mad', as the Nepleslians put it."

The Yggdrasill objectively stated.



(The Lounge may or may not be empty. I dunno.)

Lyshana flew into the lounge, still panicked "Th...the patrician..." She murmered to herself as she fluttered around the room, worried. "I..." She did not seem to notice the newcomer, and was clearly trying to calm down... and failing.

"oh... well..." Mel said and sighed some. "I'd go return them myself but I'm not quite done yet, can you tell her she may want to pick them up?" She asked. "I'm behind a curtain so she can't see me either way. tell her I'm not paying attention or something."

"...She seems alarmed that you're a Patrician, even though she is half Patrician herself. What is the reason for this?" Yggdrasill asked Mel.


"Lyshana...you dropped your materials...and she was behind a curtain anyway, was she not?" Yggdrasill asked Lyshana...
