Planned Maintenance Downtime on May 11th

Hey Star Army! I wanted to give you a heads up in advance for some downtime coming up. Our web host is upgrading servers, including our MySQL Virtual Private Server, from version 12.04 LTS (also known as Precise Pangolin!) to Debian 9.12 (aka Stretch!). During this time our MySQL databases may unreachable for brief periods. The forum depends on these databases to operate so it will be closed temporarily during the work window.
  • Date of upgrade: Monday May 11th
  • Maintenance Window: 8:00pm-10:00pm Pacific Time (11:00pm-01:00am Eastern)
  • Expected downtime: 10 minutes (intermittent)
NOTE: The wiki does not run on databases or the MySQL server and thus will continue to function normally at stararmy.com/wiki. To keep in communication with everyone you can join us in our Discord Server!
