Rejected Submission [Psychopomp] CUREM

Hi,

Let's get started.

  1. The RP contact with the SMX Splinter Cell - Where did this happen in canon RP? IF yes, was there a plot plan submitted before it was written for Wes to give an OK to it?
  2. My concern here is that there is a complication with the production of anything connected to the Mishhu genome, and that is the fact that it is the same/like code to the Neko genetic code, which is highly restricted technology. Someone developing this kind of drug is going to certainly get someone's attention in Yamatai. You say it don't work on Nekos but I think this is riding the line. Mishuu don't have typical DNA, it is constructed by femtomechanical means and is hemosynthetic. These are hemosynthetic organisms just like Nekos and I don't think an Independent corporation no matter how versed in genetics would have this capability. (@Wes of course can chime in if he has given special permission)
I think if you need to deal with the parasites for a plot, consider something non-genetic.

I think this needs to be reworked back on the drawing board, but as of now, I cannot approve it.

I’m on mobile currently so I’ll get the rp link soon. I wanted to run the possibility for this past Wes to start with but had no forum to talk it over with him before submissal since he doesn’t like to confer anything privately and I wanted to hammer this out before making it public.

The fact that the ship linked that was encountered... isn't on the wiki anymore I would hasten to add. Not to detract or quibble. Just to point to it since it's missing.

I still do not believe that your independent corporation would understand a hemosynthetic life form's genetics and regardless if you created this technology IC you would do so violating Yamataian Restricted Technology, hemosynthetics is restricted technology that is not in the hands of independent factions. Mishhu are hemosynthetic life forms.

Also, since Mishhu genetic code is femtomechancially constructed just like Nekos, the defense mechanism would be triggered and the genome would have been destroyed prior to it being isolated. Remember, just like Nekos, their genetics have security features built-in.

I reject this submission.
