Question about my character

I'm not entirely sure that this is the correct place to put this, but it seemed less wrong then other choices:

With the plot that my character is in about to begin (Cirrus Station), I've been putting some thought into how he got assigned to Cirrus. While I was doing that, I came up with some ideas that aren't a complete redefinition of his character, but nevertheless should be noted on his character sheet.

So, my question is: if your character hasn't appeared in a plot yet, can you modify their bio and/or skills?

(An yes, I know that this likely means resubmitting him to the good folks over at the New Character Bio forum.)

This is the right place.

If it just defining and fleshing out his/her skills, attributes and/or history then a mention to your plot GM will do. Updating the bio on the development of the character in-RP can be done freely. However complete skill changes and character overhauls should only be done if the character has not been used in-RP. Note down the changes and resubmit in the character forums if this is the case.

Basically, I just want to note what he was up to in the corps school to merit him being assigned to Cirrus despite his specialization in engines (to whit, being indirectly involved in a series of pranks that ended with his instructor being shipped back to Funky City. By express freight in a crate labeled 'dangerous biologicals'.) back to funky, and to slightly broaden his grasp of mechanical maintenance.

I think that I should be good at just running it by Moon, but I want to make sure.
