1. I'm enjoying it. I love the Res vibes. Any evidence to the contrary is just that I have trouble with big groups, and the JP is a big group.
2. I love seeing and learning about historical places around the Kikyo sector.
3. More SP would be great, but I know you have a busy schedule.

Gonna second everything @hyralt said. More SP, and def more of a chance to engage with the setting.
Also I'd like to add, let's utilize our NCOs more. Give them a set group of enlisted to watch over, train, and command. If they aren't able to make a session, their No 2 (the highest enlisted or NCO under them) steps up.
Makes it easier to follow the action. More RP opportunities, streamlines commands, etc etc. Especially when there's a big mission with all hands.

I'm enjoy the plot so far. I do like having a lot of action and would love to see more of it, if possible! I can echo a few other writers about SP as well, but it's not a big sticking point for me, personally.

Otherwise, I was wondering about promotions. Are those coming separately for Operation Fireplace and and Mission 6 or is it just going to be one promotion for both missions?

Yesterday I posted promotions and medals in orders for all Resurgence characters in your orders threads. I think I got all your bios updated but you may want to refresh them yourselves (especially the history section). If you look at the history section on Pidole's bio, which I just updated, you can see the timeline of what the ship was up to very clearly and it has links to all the threads, so it's a good reference to look at when updating your bios.
