Imperial Power Returns to Ketsurui

Kyoto, Yamatai - In a Surprising move, former Empress Yui, after being given the power to decide the new Empress by Katsuko, chose Ketsurui Himiko as Empress of Yamatai, rather than choosing herself or her sister, former Empress Yuumi. Himiko has not yet set a date for an address to the nation, but immediately gave some imperial orders:

- All civilians going to the UOC from the YSE are given a full pardon for their treason, but lose their citizenship in the YSE.

- All military personnel deserting the Star Army must return all their issued items, including Nekovalkyjra bodies. Free ST transfer to Yamataian-type bodies is available at Star Army stations. Failure to do so is a violation of Yamataian law and these persons will become criminals unable to return to Yamatai.

- Ships of the Star Army of Yamatai currently under the UOC's control must follow all reasonable orders of the Star Army of Yamatai and their crews are not allowed to try to "reprogram" the sentient computers (MEGAMI and above). Failure to do so will be considered an act of treason; allowing the Star Army to occasionally use the ship until it is returned however, will be rewarded.

- Star Army ships are to respect the IAA amendment and should not attack any ships or persons in compliance with the above orders.

- The UOC Government is officially granted legal ownership of the UOC territories once it agrees to the above conditions. We look forward to peaceful relations with the UOC and other governments.

Himiko also announced plans to help the Freespacers by setting up regular shipments of food and water to them.
