RP: Hidden Sun Clan [SCU-HSC Diplomatic Conference] Arrivals and First Meetings

The arrival docking arm had a strange stillness to it that the Sesestran man couldn't describe as he stood waiting outside of the main airlock, his mind counting down the seconds as it cycled and brought the occupants from the alien vessel visible through the station's viewing displays. His name was Charles Jay, the deputy diplomatic representative for Sol Alpha's interstellar council and the one who was selected to greet and meet with the second group of aliens the council was courting for economic reasons.

Of course Representative Jays realized this, why else would they have finally chosen to reach out after three years of knowing they where not alone. Finally looking down at his small electronic tablet for the time he switftly looked back up as the airlock finished it's cycle and opened freeing it's occupants to move into the white and sterile environment of the station.

When the airlock door opened four members of the Emissary's entourage emerged into the passage. They were Qaktoro Vonawotanu'a dressed in black outfits trimmed with purple and gold. Each had a sword strapped to their back that the hilt of whic rose above their shoulder. They moved briefly into the passageway and then dropped to one knee with out a command.

At that moment a shorter figure entered the figure was wearing a hooded robe of maroon, the hood hung low enough that the individuals face was not visible. As the Emissary moved forward, it could be seen that they were wearing black leather boots and pants. When the Emissary passed the honor guard, they stood as one and fell in behind her.

A grey furred Qaktoro entered the passage and walked up along side the entourage and stood beside the Emissary. They moved forward towards the representative that was waiting at the simple gesture of the Emissary.

Representative Jays carefully bowed to the approaching alien being, a small smile on his face as he rose back to standing, he'd been advised against hand shaking after all some cultures had issues with any sort of physical contact. Though slightly confused by the display, part of which he assumed was cultural rather then for true security purposes the slightly befuddled human finally spoke. "Welcome madam ambassador, I trust the trip wasn't to trying?" He started with a somewhat neutral tone. Of course aside from those first few who'd been on the survey vessel he and his fellow aid where the first to ever officially receive her kind on their soil, a fact that he calmly brushed off in his mind.

Kohaku regarded the human before her, and called to mind the initial reports from the Searcher class that contacted this group. A splinter group of some sort, based on their diversity, perhaps from the earlier colonizations of the sector.

"On the behalf of Mui Tarbah Leyto and the Poku Saeruo Degonjo; I thank you for your people's generosity. My journey was not at all trying, I enjoy the opportunity to visit new people on the behalf of mine." Kohaku replied holding her arms away from her body and with her fingers extended. The then pointed to the person beside her, "This is my attendant Geiars, she will be assisting me in our discussions. I hope that is acceptable?"

Jays eyed the other creature for a moment before nodding, "We all have our assistants and colleagues madam I don't see why he can't be included, now if you'd like to begin we already have a conference chamber prepared." He said politely before gesturing further down the passageway.

 

[Nashoba]

"Then let us begin." Kohaku replied and made a small hand gesture to her entourage. They rose with the only sound of their clothing shifting. "Kindly lead the way. Also indicate where my escort can wait while we are in discussions." she said walking to next to Jays.
