Small Arms Review

Pistols and non-power-armor rifles in the SARP tend to go relatively unused by the majority of players. Most of the time the weapons stay locked up in armories or saddled in holsters on the hips of our characters.

This should not take away for exactly how cool these weapons are. Wes has put great art into a lot of them, while some are created by others without art. I'm going to focus on the ones that actually have art, as they're easiest to reference.

If this looks a lot like the armor ratings without the "scores," my apologies. It's a handy template.

How it works:

Each weapon is broken down by its basic attributes -- type, class, sub-class, base model and sub models (if applicable.) From there, the base model is examined for its unique attributes -- dimensions, weight, caliber or energy rating, controls (including safeties) and any additions that can be attached, including magazines, parts, scopes and so on.

A small review of the weapon will follow. Nothing too complicated, and not entirely based on character experience.

Type: Scalar, laser, xaser; chemical, electromagnetic, etc.
Class: Rifle, submachinegun, pistol.
Sub-class: Sniper rifle, heavy submachinegun, machine pistol, semi-automatic pistol, etc.
Base model: Type 28 NSP, Type 27 NSP.
Sub-model: 28C, 28D.
Dimensions: A bit of a tricky situation. First, I'll say width is based on my smaller hands gripping my various firearms and guestimating what feels right. Note: width is grip width, not overall.
Basically, pistols are based on the Type 27 NSP's scale of 371 pix / 22 cm, which gets me 16.863 pix / cm.
Rifles are based on the GP-12, which gets me 702 pix / 70.9 cm, or 9.9 pix / cm. The GP-5 is considered THE EXECPTION, not the rule, as it was given measurements after it was put up on the WickedArms page.
Weight: We have the weights for a couple of weapons. So it's guess work on the others. It's up for debate.
Rate of fire (if applicable): How fast the weapon fires in fully automatic mode.
Range: How far a single round from the weapon will travel.
Caliber or energy rating: Self-explanitory.
Capacity: How many rounds (in various modes) are available if pistol is loaded fully with ammunition.
Controls: A simple listing of the controls -- safeties, decockers, power level adjusters, built-in utilities, so on.
Action: Solid pistols only. Tells you what kind of action it has.
Additions: Again, a list.
Review: Pretty much as close to an "objective" opinion of the gun as I can give. I'll include any experience I have on the weapons themselves.

Here's an example:

Sitanin Zbrojovka Model 79:
Code:
Type: Solid
Class: Pistol
Sub-class: Semi-automatic.
Base Model: Model 79
Sub-model: Model 79P
Dimensions: 200 x 180 x 33 mm
Weight: 950 grams unloaded with empty magazine.
Caliber: 10 x 25 mm KZ. 10.5x22 SiZi Special for 79P.

Sitanin Zbrojovka said:
Capacity: 15 rounds (KZ), 13 rounds (Special.)

Controls: Ambidextrous decocker, pressure sensor in trigger releases firing pin safety.

Additions: Modular sights that are adjustable for windage and distance. Night sights available.

Review: The SiZi 79 is a older style of combat pistol, when the pistol was more of a backup tool than a primary weapon. As such, it is designed with long range in mind, to act as a rifle replacement -- the gun's rails are built into the slide, which the frame wraps around, balance is superb and the weapon is machined within tight limits and from good materials. However, it is not a very durable weapon.

Classes explained:

Classes, as they are used here, work like classes in RL. But what are they? This is more for those who aren't as familiar with weapons, so I'll try and explain beyond terminology so you can have a solid definition.

A rifle is a long gun -- that's a gun that has a barrel longer than 25 cm and has a buttstock. Rifles are generally weapons made for long range, fire better-balanced projectiles than pistols and able to be placed with good accuracy. They are usually of a slower firing rate, meaning not many shots can be fired in a minute.
  • Subclasses are:
  • Battle rifle: These are designed to be military weapons. They usually carry bigger ammunition capacities and are much more robust than a standard (civilian) rifle. They also have higher rates of fire and use relatively powerful ammunition. They are bigger than assault rifles. Medium accuracy and range.
  • Assault rifle: Also a military or police weapon. Usually carry slightly smaller and weaker ammunition, but have the same (or more) capacity as a battle rifle. Usually as robust and have even higher rates of fire. Lower accuracy and range.
  • Sniper rifle: Also military or police. More powerful ammunition, generally less capacity. Slowww firing rate, high accuracy and range. Possibly less robust.
  • Carbine: Shorter than a standard rifle. Meant to be easier to handle by being lighter and having a shorter barrel, it otherwise retains all the qualities of a standard rifle.
A submachinegun is a long gun, but it uses pistol-class ammunition. Generally, they have shorter barrels and buttstocks, as SMGs are designed to be compact, lightweight, high rate-of-fire weapons. They have short ranges and high capacities. Subclasses for a submachine gun vary little from the basic class -- it depends on ammunition mostly; some SMGs use rifle-grade ammunition, making them "compact assault rifles" or "heavy submachineguns."

A pistol is a handgun -- barrel can be longer than 25 cm, but it cannot have a buttstock. There are a lot of subclasses for a pistol, but they all revolve around the same thing: who the pistol is made for. Could be civilians, could be military, could be police. Rate of fire is the only real "constant," as only machine pistols are not semi-automatic (one trigger pull = one round fired).
  • Combat pistol: You see this thrown around a lot. Essentially, this means lightweight, high-capacity and very durable. Accuracy is important, but not paramount to those other things. Combat pistol usually implies it is a "primary weapon," meaning the user has no rifle or SMG. Uses powerful ammunition. Possibly a bit big.
  • Duty or service pistol: A pistol designed for police or military service. Relatively high capacity, just as rugged as a combat pistol. A secondary weapon, where accuracy is less important. Could use powerful ammunition, could use lighter ammunition.
  • Compact, subcompact pistols: Smaller and smaller still, respectively. Usually uses a lighter ammunition, but not always. Possibly less rugged.
  • Civilian pistol: Definitely a lighter ammunition, generally speaking. Made for self-defense, they're smaller and not as rugged.
  • Holdout pistol: VERY small weapon, very limited capacity, used only for self-defense.
  • Ceremonial pistol: Usually a fancy (read: pretty) version of a service or traditional weapon.
  • Competition pistol: A pistol that is made to shoot at longer ranges.
  • Machine pistol: Basically, any pistol that fires faster than semi-automatic.
Energy types:

I'm no scientist. But basically, here's what you've got.

Laser is, well, a really hot beam of light. End of story.
Maser is microwave laser. It's hotter than a laser, damages faster, penetrates better, so on. Has the advantage of ridiculously long ranges.
Xaser is x-ray laser. Damages the fastest, goes through certain materials, basically is very dangerous.
Scalar is a concept I don't understand, but it operates much like a phaser from Star Trek, just without the silly constant beam stuff. Can stun and what not.

Weapons reviewed:

There are a bloody crapload of weapons in the SARP, counting variations. I'll be focusing on the ones that have art FIRST, then those without art SECOND. The art lends some realism to the weapon, and as far as I know makes it more popular. Energy weapons will come first, followed by solid weapons.

Type 27 Nekovalkyrja Service Pistol
Code:

Class: Pistol
Sub-class: Combat pistol, machine pistol
Base Model: Type 27
Sub-model: Type 27C (Civilian)
Dimensions: 220 x 111 x 37 mm
Weight: 800 g
Rate of fire: 350 rnds/min
Range: 300 m

Energy ratings: Stun can knock a person out. Pulse has the power to kill in a single shot, also can take out a car door. Heavy could destroy an entire car in a grenade-like blast.

Capacity: 50 stun/pulse, 10 heavy (BR-27 in grip).

Controls: Trigger fires one shot with light pull, fires automatic with firm pull. Button safety above trigger. Two buttons foreward of trigger on right side activate light or laser. Selector switch on left side above grip (S, P, H.)

Additions: No iron sights. Polymer or walnut grips.

Review: The Type 27 replaced the WickedArms GP-13 after WickedArms folded into Ketsurui Zaibatsu. The pistol's made of a metal-ceramic, making it both light and very rugged. However, the pistol was considered very large and difficult to draw and handle. However, its heavy mode is more efficient than the Type 28 (10 shots to 8). Some older Nekovalkyrja still prefer the weapon because of its solid feel. It is the most "military"-looking of the NSP series, and is the most powerful. Designed by SARA. Chrome or black. Shot counter on back. Walnut grips. Walnut-gripped officer model with star. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Controls: Trigger fires one shot with light pull, fires automatic with firm pull. Button safety above trigger. Two buttons foreward of trigger on right side activate light or laser. Selector switch on left side above grip (S, P, H.) Shot counter on battery magazine.

Additions: Night iron sights. 28A and on has redesigned rear sight. Walnut grip with engravings, depending on model. 28A is 169 mm long, 28C and D are 161 mm long. Battery redesigned for 28A on.

Review: The Type 28 (and its offspring) is easily the most common sidearm in the SARP. It is just slightly worse than the 27 in terms of durability and ruggedness, yet it's an even lighter weapon. The 28 has iron sights and slightly better range than the 27. The 28's biggest difference is the redesigned stock, which is specially balanced to keep most of the weight in or above the hand. The civilian (A/C, C/C) version is an excellent seller throughout known space. The 28A and 28C have almost completely replaced the 28, with the 28A still the most common. The 28D has had few takers. Human grips available. Lots of holster-type accessories. Camo, blood red (not purchasable), gold-plated, Parkerized (28A2). <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Controls: Trigger fires one shot with light pull, fires automatic with firm pull. Button safety in front/above of trigger. Two buttons foreward of trigger on right side activate light or laser. Selector switch on left side above grip (S, St, P.) Shot counter on back of pistol.

Additions: Night iron sights.

Review: The Type 29 is the "subcompact" NSP to the 28C's "compact." Easily concealable and available for civilians to buy, it's a very handy carry pistol. Its range is shorter than any other NSP, of course. The weapon has few accessories. Part of the problem with the weapon is its lack of a heavy mode, making it unsuitable for a main sidearm. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Review: The only troop weapon Yamatai fully employs that is not a pistol. The gun's very compact, being built on the Type 28A, and even with the extending wire stock, it's the perfect little piece for a Nekovalkyrja. Taller individuals would find more relief firing the older GP-12s. Though the capacity of the SMG is nearly three times that of the original 28A, some soldiers (particularly non-Nekovalkyrja) complain it lacks punch due to it having no heavy function, but that does not diminish the point of the weapon, which is "miniature squad-automatic-weapon." One character, Miles Gunn, modified an SMG to be an oversized pistol. KFY didn't approve. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Capacity: 150 stun/pulse, 50 burst, 30 heavy (BR-P100 magazine in foregrip).

Controls: Trigger fires one shot with light pull, fires automatic with firm pull. Button safety in front/above of trigger. Two buttons foreward of trigger on right side activate light or laser. Selector switch on left side above grip (S, P, B, H.) Shot counter on back of weapon.

Additions: Night iron sights. Carry handle. Lanyard loop.

Review: An experimental weapon, based on the Type 28 SMG and intended, in part, to make up for the NH-29's deficiencies in terms of outright combat power, as well as provide a larger weapon for Yamataian troops. The burst shot gives it a more efficient attack inside the tight corridors of a ship, as it provides a pretty wide blast. The weapon's range has changed from its very first inception, giving it more of an actual "battle rifle" feel to it. Initial tests show the weapon's more effective than the older SMG in open spaces, but the burst fire draws too much energy to best the SMG in tighter spaces.

Additions: Carry handle, multiple stock colors. Scope mount. Sight through carry handle.

Review: By the time WickedArms folded, this weapon had seen plenty of use. Designed specifically to take out Nekovalkyrja and other omni-organic or heavily armored troops, the GP-5 was considered a fairly durable weapon. Its cost, however, plummeted once Ketsurui Zaibatsu began producing the NSP and its derivatives. Its ergonomics kind of suck, as the butt's too steeply angled and the lack of a trigger guard makes it a bit rough to shoot. The GP-5a is the most common variant, with the 5b being a sniper version with scope and laser sight. The battery fits entirely into the weapon. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Additions: Mount for scope, adjustable iron sights, removeable folding forward grip and bipod, retractable sling harnesses, trapdoor in rifle butt for sling. Multiple colors. 40 mm grenade launcher.

Review: The most versatile weapon every employed by the Star Army. It is part sniper rifle, part assault rifle, part battle rifle and all military power. One wonders why Ketsurui Zaibatsu didn't continue producing it for all of its advantages over the Type 28 SMG, though size was obviously a concern. It's only 1,000 KS at used gun stores, so it's worth having one or two around. I mean, the thing makes barely any noise when fired! The GP-12A is the sniper/grenade launcher variant, while the 12B is the smaller, collapseable variant. The B1 is even smaller and seems to have inspiried the SMG's size. The 12 and 12A have EMP shielding. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Review: As a pistol, the 13 is insanely light and with incredible range -- it's essentially the core element of a GP-12B with a smaller battery. It's made of aluminum carbide, so the pistol lacks the outright ruggedness of the NSPs. Their tendancy for overkill is reknowned. They're still seen in the Star Army, but not often, as chargers are rare for the batteries. They're all over the civilian market however, almost always with the military-grade ranges and destructive power removed by Yamatai armories before being released. These are nicknamed "GP-13Cs." Cheap as hell. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Review: A pistol of the old school. Using plasma went out a long time ago, but for target shooters, low-powered plasma is better than any other projectile type for tracking shots and target hits, as it won't completely evaporate a target. Not that it isn't deadly as hell. While it's more expensive than a GP-13 and less common, they have the benefit of being very accurate and not as clunky as a GP-13. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Review: A very, very effective weapon employed by the Star Army of Nepleslia. Though of short range, it's incredibly dangerous, as without shields it can effectively burn and mutate a target to death. Multiple shots are needed to do this, of course, but still. The problem is it's made of durable materials such as carbon ring and Durandium. Relatively speaking, these materials are very heavy, making the gun heavy to lug about. Review: An even more effective weapon than the XAR, arguably. It certainly does more damage, though its long grip guard and weight are pretty clunky for a pistol. Though relatively untested, it shows a lot of promise in its ability to essentially waste the important parts of anything electronic in a single mag or less. Review: A fairly dangerous weapon, without being on the level of Emrys' sniper weapon. This weapon is far more rugged, making use of polymer furniture and other carbon ring bits. It's a conventional design, but a solid one. The scopes are the biggest problem, as they are not built in and therefore not protected by the gun's furniture. Review: Dangerous, but not exceedingly so. It's a good holdout pistol, easy to draw quickly, effective in short-range engagements. Has been eclipsed by the better-designed Type 29 NSP, but its sales are better as it is simply so damn cheap! If you want an unregistered weapon, this is probably your best bet -- just buy it from the right guy. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Capacity: 8 shots in box magazine stored in butt.

Controls: Magazine release button behind trigger.

Action: Single-action using blowback system and fixed barrel.

Additions: Plastic grips made by third parties. Night post sights.

Review: A robust if simple weapon of good materials, they're found everywhere. Considered a good weapon for a dress outfit, they otherwise aren't exactly popular. The Star Army gave them away for just joining the Star Army. The pistol's actually very accurate. Comes in nifty gold! <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

General Service Pistol

Model: Type 28B GSP
Sub-model: Type 28, 28A
Dimensions: 156 x 88.3 x 33 mm
Weight: 800 g
Rate of fire: Semi-automatic
Range: 50 m
Caliber: 10 x 25 mm Ketsurui Zaibatsu (10mm KZ)

Capacity: 15 shots in box magazine stored in butt.

Controls: Safety button in front of trigger. Decocking level on left side of slide in front of the hammer.

Action: Double-action/Single-action using blowback system and rotating barrel.

Additions: Plastic grips made by third parties. Equipment rail found below front of slide. Night 3-dot sights.

Review: It took a couple times to get the GSP to where it is now. Generally not used in favor of the NSP, the original GSP was a bit less ergonomic, as the grips were smooth. Eventually, to spice the pistol up some KZ added the NSP's front to it, making the Type 28A. That didn't go well either, hence the current form, using a more versatile equipment rail and ribbed walnut grips. From the beginning, the pistol used a special rotating barrel that helped compensate for the 10mm KZ's punchy recoil and aided shooters of all types. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Assault Rifle

Code:
Type: Chemical
Class: Rifle
Sub-class: Assault rifle, battle rifle
Model: GP-1
Sub-model: GP-1A
Dimensions: 1,040 x 117 x 40 mm
Weight: 2,300 g
Rate of fire: 500 rnds/min, three-round burst, semi-automatic.
Range: 650 m
Caliber: 7.62 x 51 mm Ketsurui Zaibatsu (7.62mm AP)
Armaments and Ammunition Repleshment Section said:
Capacity: 30 rounds in box magazine in front of trigger.

Controls: Magazine release lever built into magazine housing near trigger. ROF selector on left side can be worked with thumb; all the way down is full-auto, mid-way for 3-round burst, all up for semi-auto. Safety button in front of selector. Laser/light must be switched on at the battery, in front of magazine housing. Those batteries are removed by pressing a button on the left side above it. Bolt release lever on left side.

Action: Rotating bolt cycled by gas-piston system. A small amount of gas produced from cartridge ignition is siphoned off into tube above barrel. This gas pushes back a piston in the tube, which is attached to the bolt and cycles it.

Additions: Multiple colors of grips (black, forest green, cedar, burgundy, desert sand, navy or Uesureyan blue). Scope is built in to GP-1A, but there are still four sets of rear iron sights built in. Ghost ring front sight. Metallic components in black, grey or chrome. Batteries for laser/light are hard to find, but other batteries can be jury-rigged. Can be fitted with electrofied MP-1E bayonet.

Review: It took more than 130 years for the GP-1 to be retired, and even then it's still in use all over the place considering the hundreds of millions produced by Geshrinari Industries. Solid, accurate weapons to the last, they're practically indestructable. Many have their barrels removed and replaced with ones threaded at the end to accept silencers, but the original military barrel is almost always of better quality, as it is designed to accept AP rounds. The Yamataian military doesn't have any of these anymore, but they're literally in any and every gunshop in the galaxy. Many older models fell into the hands of the Kennewes Reds. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Needler

Code:
Type: Electromagnetic rails
Class: Rifle
Sub-class: Sniper rifle, anti-personnel rifle
Model: Gauss Flechette Rifle
Sub-model: N/A
Dimensions: 1,217 x 304 x 60 mm
Weight: 2,000 g
Rate of fire: 200 rnds/min, semi-automatic.
Range: 900 or 600 m
Caliber: 20 mm Emrys needle cartridge
Emrys Catalogue said:
Capacity: 10 cartridges in box magazine in butt. Dual battery magazines along either side of rifle have enough energy for 30 shots. Uses either standard (diamond-tipped) or mercy needles.

Controls: Safety button in front of trigger on right side. Magazines are released by pushing down on them and letting them pop up on their own. Battery magazines are done the same way. Display on left side can be set to increase or decrese spray of needles (up to 30 degree cone from barrel). Small dial switches between automatic and semi-automatic.

Action: A cartridge is drawn into the rifle's chamber immediately upon loading it. The loading is done automatically with no action by the user. The cartridge is then fired along the electromagnetic rails and out the barrel.

Additions: No iron sights. However, multiple scopes can be attached, as it has an equipment rail for the standard 4x red-dot scope, or (Picatinny) rail in front for bigger scopes. Battery charger, of course. Folding bi-pod.

Review: A disgusting weapon. A kind of long-range shotgun, the Needler is not nearly as wieldly. Its utility on the battlefield is arguably limited, as there are rarely rushes of large clusters of troops that such a strange anti-personnel weapon could take out. But the weapon has some success as an anti-material weapon, and it's a very good "trap gun." Expensive as all get out. Comes in a sexy red, too. Also unscoped and unmarked, not that it matters. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Weight: 2,500 g
Rate of fire: Semi-automatic
Range: 3,000 m
Caliber: 12.7 mm metallic dart
Emrys Catalogue said:
Capacity: 10 darts in box magazine in butt. Batteries (in forward grip) have enough energy for 20 sub-sonic shots or 5 full-powered shots.

Controls: Display on right side controls onboard computer. Dial on left side controls zoom. No safety.

Action: A cartridge is drawn into the rifle's chamber immediately upon loading it. The loading is done automatically with no action by the user. The cartridge is then fired along the electromagnetic rails and out the barrel.

Additions: N/A.

Review: A very powerful, very high-tech sniper rifle for the future, if you will. It is the most powerful sniper rifle generally available that might be able to damage a power armor. It still manages to be quite durable. Very expensive, very much worth it. This weapon was an inspiration to Yamatai's LASR series.<a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Review: An incredibly solid pistol that sees little service outside Yamatai. Using an 11.5 mm round gives it very good stopping power, and the standard cartridges would be considered +P by today's standards, with hot loads still firing relatively comfortably out of the gun. This is a match-grade pistol right out of the box; arguably better than Yamatai's GSP and made with solid materials, the gun's a great find at any gunshop. The compact version is rarer to find, as it doesn't shoot nearly as comfortably. An even rarer automatic version is in the hands of a very select few. None is being produced anymore. Alternate grips are available. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Review: A cute, incredibly inexpensive little pistol, it takes the name from an old legend of cheap pistols falling from the sky (i.e. this pistol). It's an effective little shooter, with the cheaply made action actually providing decent accuracy. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Additions: Threaded barrel for silencer. Night sights.

Review: Rarely seen outside the Red Army, which issued the silencers as stock equipment. These pistols are very accurate shooters, and while the silencer tends to reduce effective range and accuracy, it's still good for 30 m. The pistol's built very slim, designed with a single-stack magazine to be as concealed as possible. Also, the caliber and design of the weapon are purposeful; the weapon's barrel is identical to that of a KZ GSP, only threaded, meaning old Yamataian weapons found on Kennewes can be used in place of the stock barrel, if desired. Without silencer. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

Action: Full-auto blowback.

Additions: Nice big sights. Fold-down front grip creates extra handhold.

Review: Also rarely seen. A solid piece, but don't drop it on the magazine. The fold-down grip is practically a necessity; firing 10 mm full-auto is hard enough without a stock. A favorite of the Red Army, supposedly. <a href="#Top">(Top)</a>

This is AWESOME. Stickied.

Note: The KZ 28 SMG isn't weak, It's as powerful as the 28 NSP, but with faster rate of fire and more ammo.

Edt2: Why is the Xaser pistol more powerful than the rifle? That doesn't seem to make any sense.

Edit 3: Second green (Emrys) rfile description is a repeated of the first. Also, is should be noted that the Zen 10mm Covert Ops is Zen's most high-quality (and accurate) pistol.

Concern 1: My bad; semantics. When I said lacks effectiveness, I was implying that its lack of a grenade feature reduces its effectiveness. But I can edit that to make it sound better.

Concern 2: I was going off how Thomas figured it. He said:
The NovaCorp Xaser Pistol grew out of the technology needed to make the Xaser Assault Rife, and uses even more recent advances in EMR laser technology, capable of focusing to beam to an even greater degree than the Xaser Rifle, so even though the shots are less powerful, they are more efficient, able to deal more damage with the same amount of power.

I take that to mean "more effective," but the severity I took from the advances in its beam tightness.

Concern 3: Dammit. How did I let that happen? I'll fix it in the morning.

3a: Oh, so it is the better of the Zen Arms' pistols. Sweet.

The Xaser pistol was made before the rifle, though.

It might be about time this is edited to reflect recent additions to the SARP setting.

On that note: HAR HAR HAR.

We could use some of the heavier "small arms" as well:
--Man-portable energy cannons
--Heavy machineguns or "mini-guns"/chainguns
--Flamethrowers
--Grenade launchers (both for independent use and for mounting under rifles)
--Man-portable SAMs
--Anti-vehicle/tank and anti-mecha weapons (bazookas, RPGs, etc - and their energy-weapon cousins)
--INFANTRY MORTARS!!! (EXTREMELY useful for ambushes and surprise attacks, or just plain causing chaos.)

I can see a NSP on heavy blowing up a car with one shot, but I can't see it doing the same to a T-72 tank (and forget about xasering the tank crew - the Soviets liked to armor their tanks with depleted uranium) - and comparing a T-72 to the tanks ad mecha of this setting is like comparing a man-of-war to a WWII battleship.

As far as indirect-fire infantry weapons, I'd like something with more range than a hand-thrown grenade and more firepower than a bow and arrow. The GP-12 can accept an under-barrel 40mm grenade launcher, but you have to actually have one before you can stick it on your GP-12, and I don't see any 40mm under-barrel grenade launchers (or ANY grenade launchers) here.

I haven't updated this yet with some new stuff. Maybe this weekend, if I get some time.

I'm kind of a firearms-only type of guy; I don't get into the heavier stuff. But hey, be my guest.

Hey Doshii, would you ever do a new set of reviews for the various guns of today's SARP? I really enjoyed the last set and they ended up on most of these guns' wiki pages they were so good.
