History: Kenji was born two years after Kai was and the two brothers grew up in a loving family structure that created strong bonds between them. Kenji was born as Kai was, strongly psionic but nowhere close to being as powerful. He has only recently in the last 4 years to gain complete control over his "fiery" abilities; wanting to help people and having a knack for spotting illness or troubles with a person he quickly picked up a job as a medic. Doing a bit messy at first, Kenji learned quickly and got through the ranks befittingly.
After years of working with their parents, news of his brother's untimely assassination infuriated Kenji, causing him to desire revenge. But also wanting to honor his brother he transferred to the ship named after their mother to continue his work onboard that ship. Shortly after being transferred there he met Taisho Kyoshi (at the time) and ended up a bit infatuated with her as a result of the way she was. (It was attractive to him). After working like that for a while; Kenji ended up becoming a close friend to her family, even the father-figure to Kohana, the youngest daughter of said taisho. And ended up having a part in Kikyo's reform due to simple rejection, and showing her she couldn't get everything she wanted.
