Osman, Bar
Spacecase would sip his drink slowly. "It's so much a place to stay but more people to care for and who care for me. You know that saying. Home is where the Heart is. That's what I'm looking for. I've spent too many years on my own.

Osman Palace, State of Disbelief

Candon nodded.
"Alright, I can wrap my brain around that," he said accepting the concept, "I imagine tonight's event will keep you busy. Perhaps we can do business tomorrow?"

Osman Palace, but not where everyone else was gathered...

Flynn spotted a flash of red hair amongst the crowd. In the lighting, it looked like Sarena's. He made his way through the crowd towards her.

"Hey, Sarena. I heard you-?"

He stopped, realizing that this girl was not Sarena. Her name was Dame Eisley, but he didn't kniw that, of course.

"Hey, kid, have you seen a really tall, really fit girl walking around here?" Flynn asked the stranger. "Waist-length red hair? Skin tone of a cantaloupe? Her name is Sarena."

Osman Palace Grounds, by the Flynn

"'Can't a loop'?" The girl gave Flynn a sort of cat smile. She was about the same height as Flynn, though with the heels on her boots she was cheating more than a little. "Well, that's an odd description, but maybe I know what you're looking for. Who's asking?" If there was any doubt, her accent marked her as a local.

Osman Palace, also by the Flynn

Flynn raised an eyebrow. This was a rather snarky young girl. But, he didn't mind. She sounded like she could help.

"I'm a friend. A friend who feels like he owes her something. A friend who's going to offer her a job."

Streets -> Osman Palace Balconies

It had been five straight minutes, and apparently the waitress didn't know what to do. Like, the 'present' jar did look exactly like a bomb. But would somebody, who was apparently like an friend to the Uso star organisation, really just walk up and hand Uso something like this? Was it a double negative, because these space folks thought that locals would just trust them blindly?

Truffleclub was still just waiting patiently, staring at her, saying nothing. Generally making this exchange ten times more awkward.

Apparently, the best way for Cloudy to prove their innocence was to let her open it. So she did.

Plooping onto the floor on its own accord, the dark teal liquid formed into, of all things, a small animated crab-spider thing. The waitress immediately screamed and ran away.

...

Maybe a bomb would have been a better present.

...

-"Small ally friend. You must find an Uso for me."- Mindware transmissions. -"Cloudy cannot fit inside these stones without their destruction."-

At the same time, Truffleclub took out a piece of cardboard and a sharpie, writing simply 'I am a friend-present for you. -TC', before allowing both to be absorbed into the gooey little walking mass.

After that, it just skittered off on demand, into the crowds.

Osman Palace

Corgan watched the video Vier showed him. He laughed at Uso's suggestion. "Going to get him microchipped? Maybe I should get that done to Ragna-dog." He said jokingly.

He gave Uso a nod as she walked away. His eyes followed her, watching as she hugged Errowyn. Now that is a pairing I would pay to watch, he thought. When he turned back to the group it was short one Flynn.

Once Candon's business with Vier seemed to be concluded, Corgan held out a hand. "Corgan Garret, Ragnarok's Colonel. I don't think we've met. Mr. ...?" He trailed off, waiting for an introduction.

"Suites, Candon Suites," he introduced himself, "now I'm still getting familiar with the structure. What exactly is Ragnarok's function on '604?"

Outside Osman Palace

"A job. Hmm. That's a tough one." Eisley looked up toward the source of the scream on the balcony for a moment, without dropping her smile. Before long, she lost interest in the distraction and turned her head back to Flynn. "This wouldn't happen to be one of those 'space jobs', would it?"

Outside Osman Palace

Flynn crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. It is. Do you know where to find her?"

Outside Osman Palace

"Can't say I do," said the young baronetess, planting her hands on her hips. The truth was, she smelled trouble, and she didn't seem that inclined toward making things easy for the mystery man. "Of course, if I did, I don't think your friend would be swabbing decks for me, would she be?"

Osman Palace

Errowyn took a sip of her drink as she took in those around her. She recognized some from previous encounters, except one. She studied him the way a fighter pilot sized up an enemy craft. Her free hand still rested on Uso's hip in more than friendly manner. She nodded to those that she knew in forms of greeting.

The scream from another location from the building had caused her to look in the direction of the source. But it was just some waitress returning to serve other customers a bit to fast that normal. She relaxed as there was no signs of hostility as she stood near Uso.

"Who is that Minnekin?" Errowyn spoke softly, using her drink as a pointer towards Candon. He looked way too clean cut and had the Spacer's Pale skin to have been here long.

Outside Osman Palace

Flynn exhaled and pinched the bridge of his nose. Fucking kids! Of course, he remembered a time when he'd lie to adults (mostly the ones with badges) to protect his friends, so he wasn't as angered as he should have been.

"Look," he said finally. "I worked with Sarena over the past few weeks. My name's Flynn. Blackburn. I just recently got my own ship, and she's out of a job. I wanted to offer her a job as my navigator."

Osman Palace, (Courtyard?) with Uso and Errowyn

Something weird was making it's way around the feet of several oblivious groups of guests, floppy and cartoonish like a stuffed animal version of a daddy long legs. Despite being clearly blobbish and capable of stretching it's greenish little limbs, the unnatural dog-sized bug still seemed to overdo it a little, moving like a tumbleweed made of pipe cleaners.

Took it a while, but it eventually ended up at the green-haired empresses' feet. Then made a happy kind of farting noise.

Then it just did nothing, beady eyes staring up expectantly from twin wibbly thin stalks.

There was a note floating in it?...

Outside Osman Palace

Eisley's eyes lit up and her teeth shone when she heard tha magic word. "A ship, is that right? Well, why didn't you say so? I've been in the 'market' for one! Though, our mutual friend isn't looking for a job right now. Last I heard, she's assisting with some family casino contract, providing security. Not that she's happy about that, either. Is it still kidnapping when your mother does it? I think I still have the telegram."

She made no move to reveal it, if it was on her person; Eisley hoped she could use it as leverage.

Osman Palace

"That Minnekin?" Uso asked, looking over at Candon, "That's Candon... better stay away from him all things considered. I'd like to keep my deniability plausible if you catch my drift. He's SAINT, but he's our SAINT, but that doesn't mean he isn't THEIR SAINT too if you catch my...."

Uso looked down

"OHFuck that thing's adorable. I hope it isn't a murder-bot." Uso said, kinda half-lowering herself so she could scoop the thing up in one hand and return to Errowyn's side, taking a moment to read the note, ".... OHshit, Truffleclub's back!"

She would turn her attention to Errowyn again,

"Wanna go hunt it down? Truffles probably trying to get our attention..."

Osman Palace, Bar

"That is more like it. You really feel like someone who has a hard time fitting in. I mean, you're here, drinking alone... Then again that might just be because your bartender has a really low cut top," She teased, "So how about it? Are you going to go hang out with those other spacers? Or are you making your own spacer-home somewhere around here?"

Errowyn watched Uso retrieve the strange pipe cleaner creature and note as she listened to her speak. The warmth fled her expression, returning to her shell of neutrality as thoughts raced through her mind, ~~Oh crap. Am I that important to send a SAINT all the way out here? Is he after '5'..~~

Errowyn nodded a bit to quickly at Uso's invite to go hunt down Truffles. "Lets."

~~ "I told you we shouldn't have dallied here." ~~ One of her sisters spoke up.

"Take it easy... He hasn't made any overt moves on us," Errowyn murmured softly.

~~ "So once SAINT goes after a person, they're pretty much caught." ~~ Same sister spoke up sounding a bit worried.

~~ "I look lousy in prison greys!" ~~ Another ghost sister wailed.

Errowyn averted her eyes from Candon, yet kept him in her peripheral vision as she turned her attention to the creature in Uso's arms. "It is unique. Lets go find this Truffles."

Wanting to get away from the presence of the SAINT Officer. No matter who he works for, they are bad news. Except Scrapyard, an old 21st Squad Mate. She had a crush on him the moment she set eyes on him.

Spacecase would chuckle a bit. "It's like you said about going where you feel is right, and right now that's this place so I think I'll settle down somewhere around here."

Osman Palace, a Less Populated Courtyard

A young female Elysian of what seemed to be less than twenty cycles was busying herself with a mobile device of some sort, leaning casually against one of the walls with her rose blue wings covering much of her dress and form. Seemingly a newcomer, her silver eyes reflected the light of the screen as she tapped rapidly on its simulated keyboard. Her hair, normally cascading to just above her waist, was put up in a bun, resulting in a confusing swirling of the chocolate and gold colorations it was made of when viewed from behind. Muttering to herself periodically, Araxie Serai had herself take on a balancing act between trying to free up any resources available to extinguish the fire, while also collecting and overviewing data from the bars and buffets to keep track of their stock, and occasionally tabbing over to check the progress on the major connections of the city-how many people were coming and going, what resources were in demand and in excess supply... A mind-boggling amount of numbers for most people to handle, and even the angel herself occasionally had to filter things away to keep herself from being overwhelmed. She'd been up for a few hours and so far her actual impact on the planet's infrastructure was minimal... Nearly nonexistent. It needed to reach the right amount of critical mass, perhaps...

She shook her head to clear some thoughts away. She could have her breakfast later, when there was room to eat and work at the same time. For now, keep the bars from running out of fire water, and the buffets shall stay in their nearly pristine appearance when possible.

Nath Tower:

With a low rumble, a black Corona gunship flew over and landed on the VTOL pad nearby. Cyrus Marshal stepped out and looked up at the tower, there were quite a few people here as well partying. Cyrus looked back to the pilot. "Keep her ready for take off. This will only take a minute." He ordered as he walked up the stairs and into the lobby and passed the crowds of people, taking the elevator upwards. He had to check on someone...

The elevator reached its destination and Cyrus stepped out into a relatively empty floor. He looked over and found the correct door and knocked. "Hey Ulysses... You in there?

Werner was lying alone on his couch, staring at the ceiling. After escaping the clutches of the Castiel Group with their new ship, which they named the Fenrir, Werner gave everyone shore leave and Cyrus stationed a full company aboard the ship so that he and his crew could rest. Werner spent his time alone in his room, in that same position. His wound had healed, but it left a deep scar that ran diagonally across his face. He looked to the door and sighed. "Yeah... hold on..." He said softly, just loud enough for Cyrus to hear. He padded over to his room and threw on some clothes and opened the door. "Hello Cyrus, what can I do for you?" He asked, letting the man in.

Cyrus walked in and looked at the man. "You look like hell Werner."

"Well... what did you expect?" Werner replied, walking past the man and grabbing some water. "So what up with the social visit?"

"I came to check on you... You haven't spoken to anyone since your debrief, hell I don't believe you have left this tower." Cyrus replied leaning up against the wall.

Werner shrugged without looking back. "And? This is my home. Why would I leave it?" He asked.

Cyrus sighed. "I don't know what you are going through. I couldn't imagine having to fight your own family. No one should have to go through that, and..." Cyrus ran a hand through his hair. "Look, staying locked away in this tower isn't going to help anything. You need to get out. You haven't done anything since...since Aashi left." He said.

Ulysses's head dropped slightly. "So what? I like remembering the good times... Is that so bad?" He asked softly.

"It is when you don't let yourself experience anything else and just live in the past Ulysses." Cyrus said walking up to him and placing a hand on his shoulder. "Come on... Uso is throwing a party. Just come say hi to everyone. Get out the tower. You need a change of scenery." He added.

The other man stood there for a moment, then looked around his empty apartment. Finally he sighed. "Alright... Let me go get dressed."

An hour later:
Osman Palace:

That same black gunship swooped low and landed in front the palace. Cyrus and Werner both stepped out of the lowered tail ramp, both dressed in clean black suits. Cyrus smiled and saluted the Ragnarok soldiers as he walked, and Werner face remained blank as he followed Cyrus into the palace. As they entered Cyrus looked over at Werner. "Look, just go get a drink and try to have fun, I need to go check on somethings." Cyrus said before patting the man on the back and walking off.

Werner just shrugged and wandered around the party, finding a bar. He sat down and signaled the bartender. "Let me get a scotch on the rocks." He said softly. The bartender complied, and slid him a glass. He took it and sipped it, looking back at the party and watching everyone.
